LittleVoice, I think you said it all when you said some Astronomical phenomenon, I think that it may be something that we have never seen before. Although, I think that a star exploding sounds like it could be the event. We will have to wait and see. I like to try and solve mysteries but this one is very difficult and the message stays the same regardless. With that said it is difficult to not wonder and therefore, I do have a question on the announcement of the Miracle by Conchita. Let's say the Miracle was on 4/14/2016, Conchita would have made the announcement yesterday on 4/6/2016, is that correct? or would she make it today on 4/7/2016?
It is maybe not important whether yesterday or today (I think it will be on Wednesday), because Conchita told, that the Warning will be earlier than her announcement. So let's say, that Warning would take place in november/december this year. Will you wait then, when Conchita will make the announcement? No. You will want to know, when you have to travel in Garabandal. So you will start thinking... Great church event during Lent? No. So, in April or in May? 13th April or 11th May. 50% probability. But you can find in roman martyrology the name of the martyr of Eucharist. You can also watch the news from Vatican... maybe new dogma or unification of catholic and orthodox church or... You will see.
Have you seen the History channel episode that I believe that Padraig posted about the Shroud of Turin? My husband is very much into both the HC and SofT so I watched it for a second time with him the other day and it occurred to me the reason why such a thing would exist but to give us a very good idea of what JC looked like for the same reason that you state. They actually state in the episode that the Shroud is like a road map in that respect.
I don't agree with the idea that Shroud of Turin will enable us to recognise Jesus if He should return in our lifetime. And share some of my reasons. 1. I have already admitted to having seen Jesus Divine Mercy when I was a child. And I could not guarantee recognising Him if He returned in my lifetime! Why, because His disciples who had been with Him every day for a couple of years or so did not recognise Him after His Resurrection, until the breaking of bread. 2. Jesus told us in the Bible, when He comes again, He will come on the clouds in Glory. If some person announces he is the Messiah, you can bet your bottom dollar he is an imposter, no matter how much he tries to copy Jesus in clothing, hair or beard. Or miracles and wonders. 3. Remember Jesus warned the Jews. Another will come in My name; him you will accept. That is why I believe the Jews will welcome the anti-Christ. And when he tries to ascend into Heaven after 3 or more years persecuting those who don't accept him, St Michael will kick his butt and send him to the pit where he belongs. 4. I have read in the devotion 'Jesus, King of all Nations' that Jesus said, when we see Him in His Glory, we will be awestruck at His Majesty. And He will put us at our ease by reminding us of all the times we received Him in Eucharist, and the other times in prayer, so we get the courage to be at ease in His presence. Just to share some of my beliefs on this topic.
Julia, Very good points. I would have never have even thought of the Shroud of Turin in those terms if it were not for that episode, it made me wonder but we will never fully understand. I want to state that prior to watching recent documentaries on the Shroud I thought of it as a miracle, proof of what Jesus went through and something for us to revere. When scientists explain that they can't fully understand how it was created and such, it makes me think a little deeper.
Interesting bit of information I heard today for the first time: Freemasonry was founded in 1717! I had a strong feeling about 2017 as a big year before, due to anniversaries of Fatima and the 500th anniversary of Protestantism (1517) but the 300th anniversary of the founding of masonry just adds another layer of confirmation for me that 2017 will be a turning point for the world!
Just thought I would add that Our Blessed Mother spoke about how she would overthrow masonry in the approved apparition in Quito, Ecuador. Worth refreshing our memory, so links below. It is in French, but the book is also available in English and I gave already the link above in the tread (but I cannot find it anymore). The "end of the earth", meaning "new earth and new heaven", will happen in 2023. But please, to all of you: read first the copies, because if not you will not understand it. St Augustin explains it and it is important. Everything will happen before 2023. But now my big question Padraig: how can I upload these pages here ? I know it is in French, but perhaps some understand French. The system refuses to upload, though it is only 9 small pages.... Rrrrr.
