The point im making is simply that this statement is a very colloquial regurgitation of things already well known. It mentions Russia, the warning, wars etc etc. For me there is nothing divinely inspired behind it.

That’s exactly why I think it can be divinely inspired.

Did Christ say in the Gospel that He came to bring Peace? Not quite, as I remember.

That is true. It is interesting to discuss these things back and forth to try to understand. So would that exclude the Medjugorje phenomenon where Our Lady is Queen of Peace? See Visca's latest video where she exhorts us to pray for peace in the world. But first we must obtain peace in our own hearts from the Prince of Peace, then we can spread that peace to our families and those around us, and finally we can pray for peace in the world. As I understand it, in these times Our Lord has given to Our Lady the task of preparing souls and bringing souls to Him. So yes, Scripture is binding upon our Faith and our understanding of our Faith, but there is room now for a greater understanding of the spiritual paths set before us by the Queen of Heaven. Peace in our hearts is not something that is easy for me. Lately through illness I was given to understand how I was not at all prepared for my own death and the pains accompanying it. In fact I have great anxiety surrounding it. Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for us!

I hope I can be even remotely as prepared as I perceive you to be.

I would be inclined to think that the Peace offered by Our Lady is of a Heavenly rather than an Earthly one. When Christ said that He was bringing a Sword to the world, did He not imply that this would be the more likely consequence of following Him? This turned out to be the case for the first few centuries of His Church and has been repeated throughout history and is the case now more so than ever (look at events in Nigeria).

Good points. We can be in danger of creating our own versions of Christ. Of not truely listening to His voice. The antedote to that is to really meditate on the Gospels. To read and re-read them prayerfully. Secondly we must pray for the grace to understand His word and to act on it. Without grace we are very ill indeed. We all have the general help of the grace of God, by virtue of our Baptisms and the sacraments. But we may also pray for the benefit from the particular help of the grace of God which may be given to us as special favours or gifts. This is according to St. Teresa of Avila. But we need to ask for access to these graces for without them we can do nothing. And we can fall into the trap of wanting a peaceful existence which may be a version of the 'Gospel of Prosperity'. Our Lady Queen of Peace and Our Lady of Sorrows are one and the same person. We must not forget that. Also as St. John of the Cross said, "nada, nada, nada, nada, nada", nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing but Christ and Him crucified. Let us pray that we will not be put to the test of martyrdom. Even white martyrdom needs a special grace to overcome the anxiety associated with it, I believe.

On the one hand Christ did fashion a whip to drive out the money changers from the Temple. On the other hand he told Peter to put away his sword. He told us to turn the other cheek. He said to do good to those who hate you, pray for those who persecute you. He told us that if His Kingdom had been of this world, His disciples would have fought to prevent him from being delivered, but that His Kingdom was not of this world. All things we should meditate upon and ingest.

It’s not the end of the world, it’s an end of an era. So, I do believe Heaven has an earthly era of peace in store for us. Otherwise, earth wouldn’t survive with all the new advancements coming. We would need humans with peace in their hearts to work for a safer world. I’m still praying for the neutralization of nuclear energy. Ma Esperanza predicted that would be a positive change
