Padraig, Wow, this is a good video. Thank you for posting it.

I did not know that Damian Thompson was fired over what he stated on the World Over recently -

This is good advice from Father Mark Goring, "Pray the Rosary".

    EDITED TO ADD:

This is from an old post of mine, it discusses the truth about the Stonewall Inn. Be certain to read both links.

Poor Damien Thompson , I am sorry he got the boot. But on the other hand I will be more interested in all he says from now that he is free to do do.

I would not give Raymond Arroyo a long shelf life till they deal with hi too.

I admit lately I have periods of getting a little down hearted and overwhelmed by all this. for Satan seems to hold all the cards and have totally hijacked the Vatican for his own use. But last night the Good Lord reminded me in prayer that He won the victory at Calvary. All the rest is just a mopping up process. Pope Francis et all are just a blip on the screen.

    We need to remember this.

Yes we do, especially in these times which are confusing and contrarian. I can't imagine anyone not having periods of sorrow in times such as these.
The thing we have to keep in mind is that God gives all of us the Grace we need to accomplish His will in each and every one of our lives according to our vocation but we must remain close to Him and make use of the Sacraments and prayer. Always counting our blessings and offering up our sorrows through the day as penance for converts and sinners. We can't rest on our laurels and assume we can skate by just fulfilling our Sunday obligation and praying a rosary now and then and everything will be hunky dory.
We have to remember as well that we simply are not meant to know or understand these things fully. The mystery of iniquity has been at work for a long time now. They will be revealed in their time.

Yes and there is another positive side to things. It teaches me to value and love the Church more and more and to pray for priests and clergy.

Not just to take things for granted.

Exactly. It is such a great sign to all that is visible the prince of this world tries desperately to take as many souls with him into perdition as possible. Just looking at the various ways in which the faith has been attacked throughout the centuries and is today. It is the pillar and prize, the object of so much love by it's faithful and hate by the enemies of God and mankind. I marvel at it, and our Lord's plan for mankind.

Yes everything is coming together according to His Plans from the beginning.

His leaving us sure looks like an annihilation as St Paul says. I often think of this in the Glorious Mystery; The Ascension. Christ went up to heaven and seemed to leave the orphans. We are experiencing this today. But God also promised not to leave us orphans as He left the Holy Spirit
