You know I don't think ordinary Germans are going to rationalise things like this. Or think too hard about anything.

I just think they are about to go totally nuts.

I find it hard to blame them.

I'm not a German. Still , I'm not too happy myself.

I just think enough is enough.

In fairness, I despise the English broadsheets even more. They'll try and twist this to justify Gaza. In fact, it could be said that the attack is very convenient at a time when Israel is under enormous moral pressure. This is dismissable, of course, as 'conspiracy theory' and they never turn out to have a grain of truth, do they?

I know I'm getting monotonous repeating myself, but the Last Day is going to be quite a day.

I hope you're right. If they don't go nuts now, they've no nuts at all.

I just looked at the BMW ploughing into a German Christmas Market committing mass murder at very high speed. I don't really care if, 'Der Bilt ',doesn't like it since I don't like it myself.

Why would I care? 'Der Bilt', is not a nice newspaper but I am not feeling particularly nice myself at the moment. Fair play to them. Go for it.

This was the very heart of Europe.

Let them be as angry as they like, I am furious.

Same reaction as myself. Incandescent anger. It's only a matter of time before the Vatican tells us it's all our fault.

Papa Frankie an co will be racking their brains. How to sell it like Mass Islamic immigration is just still fine?

Liberals all across Europe and the Western World will be doing the same.

How to sell it so it does not seem as bad as it seems?

    A very,very,very difficult job.

Especially in Germany. Try telling it to the families of the dead and maimed.

Even the big plastic sheets will not hide the blood.

It's just obscene, most especially at Christmas time, the season of peace. I mean what were those poor people doing, men ,women and children doing that they be treated like this?

The Germans gave birth to Luther and Protestantism, Nazism and Nietzsche before they gave us Pope Benedict XVI...
It takes a little longer for them to release something good, but when they release, then they will hit like with our great pope...

There, a couple of years ago before the corona virus, I was returning from college and I went to Mass every day at 19:00 in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Every day there are about 200 people... And now the mass ends at around 19:40, the priest says that a choir of young people has come from Germany and will hold a christmas concert .

As I lived in a student dorm, and for dinner the canteen was very crowded, I decided to stay because I thought they are probably Croats from Germany because we have a large diaspora there. When I saw the Germans how they look like, half of those children were darkers, their clothes were not at all appropriate for the Church, they were talking, even running, their hair was green... It didn't feel good to me, they looked like they were accompanying a metal band. They had some Christian name in them that fooled everyone present.

A friend who just went to Germany told me that you can't see a woman on the street who isn't tattooed or pierced. Not even a bit of femininity, they sank into an egoistic-materialistic society, lulled into some false security of today's or rather then's time.

Take my word for it, no German nor any western man will rebel as long as he is doing well financially, and the west is currently doing well financially compared to some past crises (ww1, ww2, great depression, even the 70s, 80s and the early 2000s had bigger crises, you know that better than I do).

Changes occur only when economic problems come. That is why the lords of chaos who control money are very good at shaping society according to their own standards because they keep people "happy" through materialism and destroy all other segments on which the state rests and change the community. Then when they achieve their goal, they will break the country financially and great chaos will arise, and the country, which is divided ethnically, religiously, nationally with feminized men, aggressive children and radicalized women, has no ideals or links to resist the chaos. They want to create a new world order out of chaos...

This attack is not random either. They happened in 2015 and 2016 when the war raged in Syria, and again now in 2024 when Ukraine is about to fall and changes are happening in the Middle East and Europe needs to be radicalized....
And where were the attacks in 2017-2023?? It is as if the attacks were planned and coordinated by the secret services and radicalized persons for specific goal.

I have a slightly different opinion on the first two points respectively I would differentiate.
Only a relatively small proportion of Muslims living in Europe pose a threat, that's true.
I'm not an expert on Islam, but in my opinion it's the same as with us Catholics.
As you said ‘You can't be a partial believer’ - there is no choice between a traditional or progressive variant - either you live the faith or you don't.
The problem is that the Koran and Sunnah proclaim and exemplify the opposite of Jesus' teachings.
Moha**ed was a brutal, deceitful, deceptive, child-abusing warlord. What a contrast to Jesus.
That means we have no problem with Islam here because many Muslims practise their faith only lukewarmly or not at all.
I also know many devout Muslims with whom you can live well together, who are nice and helpful and want to live in a God-pleasing way. I doubt whether they really know the Koran/Sunnah.
But they are certainly among those whose hearts will find Jesus sooner or later.

With regard to the second point you mentioned, I would just like to say that I don't think it's about a population replacement. When I look at our secular society, I see almost only ‘useful idiots’, the mass media have no problems controlling them.
I think the mass migration which is being encouraged is more about planting social explosives that can be detonated when needed. And it is used to divide the domestic population. The reaction of the german left to the terror attack is - we have to prevent the right from instrumentalising the attack. Divide et impera.
Third point - I fully agree with you on this.

It's hard to know about this 50 year old Doctor but they are saying he might be part of a sleeper cell. I hope this is not true it is so scary. How many more just like him might there be out there? All over the world.

To drive a car at high speed into a crowded Christmas market with among others, little children walking about and him a Doctor. Well it's a whole dark world I don't even like to think about.

    Really, really evil.

It's so easy to make a devastating weapon out of a car. Far more efficient and deadly than a knife.

The liberals are twisting it already. The headline in today's on-line "Journal" is "Suspect in deadly Christmas market attack railed against Islam and Germany".

The headline completely ignores the fact that his actions were directed against a specifically Christian event. Islam is very fractured, and in a violent manner, as is evident in Syria, but 'railing against Islam' is one thing, ploughing a car into a group of random innocents, almost guaranteed not to be Islamic, is entirely another.

This is the prelude, I fear, for the, already proposed, banning of the AfD in the coming election. For which I have a sneaking suspicion was the intention of this strange attack. Emotions are whipped up, now it's just a matter of redirecting them.

They won't be able to ban the AFD so quickly. But even if the AFD were to get the most votes, there is no way they would be in charge. The party system in Germany makes coalitions necessary and all other parties rule out coalitions with the AFD. Similar to the situation in Austria with the FPÖ.

The perpetrator outed himself as an AFD and Musk sympathiser, so the media is now trying to accuse the AFD.
There is still much that is questionable, the contradictory and inconsistent statements by the perpetrator, etc.
In most cases, the involvement of the secret service comes to light after a while. Not in the mainstream, of course.

His AFD/Musk statements were probably a deliberate deception (Taqqiye - ‘compansions of Moha**ed’ taught how to do)
    A short video on this:
Despite claims made by the German press, Taleb Al Abdulmohsen is not an ex-Muslim atheist, nor is he a fan of the AfD or Elon Musk. While he may have spread this misinformation himself, it aligns with the practice of Taqqiye, an Islamic doctrine that permits lying and deception to advance Islamic objectives. In reality, he is a radical Shia Muslim, as evidenced by his name and numerous tweets and chat leaks circulating on Arabic-speaking platforms like X. Disturbingly, his plans to carry out mass killings of Germans were brought to the attention of German authorities by a Saudi woman. Tragically, the police ignored her warnings. The links are added in the thread.

I don't know how radical the AFD is portrayed in foreign media.
It is no more or less radical than right-wing parties in other European countries.
Btw, Orban from Hungary will probably be the most Christian head of government in Europe at the moment.
If someone is interested, the AFD candidate gave a 16-minute interview on Bloomberg about her political positions:

AfD Candidate Alice Weidel on Election, EU, Trump, Energy

To be honest, of course this terrorist attack is evil, but there have been many of them in Europe and when you consider how many people die every day in the Middle East, Ukraine, Sudan and and...souls that I honestly don't always think about in my prayers.

    Edit:
    Small very delayed addition, Orangina.
I thought about your second point again and understood better what you probably meant.
It is certainly true that Muslims are easier to control and mobilise through their beliefs.
If it comes to a heated conflict with Iran, it will surely only take one announcement from the religious leader and we will have the conflict in our streets.

It is a form of manipulation that causes damage in two ways.

I personally did this in arguments at the university when we had a subject with ethical topics.

For example, I could start by saying that I come from a liberal family, list that I had "wider" members of the Communist Party, and then strike a counter argument where I praise Christian values. That way, I can't be accused of being a clerofascist and similar labels, shame them and attack their doctrine.

This is quite similar because apparently such a person hates those who stand for the preservation of borders and values (AfD) as well as Musk, Trump, etc. However, as a psychiatrist, he knew that by associating his name with such ideologies, he was doing double damage. First, by injuring these persons, and second, by associating him as a terrorist with parties and persons who are constantly attacked by the media as the source of his ideas.

David Duke, who is considered a controversial member of the KKK and an anti-Semite, endorsed Jill Stein, who is Jewish, for the election. If he supported Trump, then all the media would put it on the front pages to harm Trump. This is how he played it very well to hurt a radical leftist who is practically everything he doesn't like.

Lies are everywhere around us today. Satan is the father of lies and manipulations are getting more vicious every day.

I remember an episode of Life is worth living by Bishop Sheen. He talked about an event where Abraham Lincoln was at a trial and now the opposing attorney accused him of lying.
Abraham Lincoln then said to that lawyer, you've known me for a long time, you know what I'm like, and tell me honestly, did i really said that.
The lawyer stopped and then told the court that he was sorry and that Lincoln didn't say that.

Can you imagine in this day and age that someone would admit to a false accusation and retract their lies ?
