Mass intentions?

I wanted to ask members to share their stories or resources concerning intentions for masses. Are there certain monasteries or orders that you go through to offer masses for loved ones?

When I have masses said for family or friends, I rarely go through my parish because there are so many intentions already that I tend to go through monasteries where the priests may have few or no intentions. Similarly, I avoid the really large, well-known churches or shrines because I figure they have many masses to celebrate all the time. Lately, I have been going through the MMP, which directs contributions to certain aging priests in the association who celebrate masses in retirement homes.

If you have other suggestions of small orders or monasteries in need of intentions, I would love to hear them.

The Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, GA offers a perpetual enrollment offering masses every day. They will send you a beautiful enrollment document with the person or family you wish to pray for.
Many of the monks there are elderly and love to have people ask them to pray for their intentions. Fr. Tom Francis is 88 years old there but sharp as can be. He is who I contact there for perpetual mass enrollments.

Thank you Denise, I looked them up and found the enrollment information here. I love those enrollment cards too as they are beautiful gifts.
