This December 8th, my pastor led our parish in a consecration to Our Lady during the Masses that day.. It was wonderful, but a number of families weren't fully prepared and didn't understand the great grace being made available. Interestingly, yesterday I came under severe attack by JoeJerk; the intensity of which I haven't experienced since November of 1987, just before my family's pilgrimage to Medjugorje. Yesterday, I was blindsided and almost succumbed.

Well, this morning I had an inspiration to ask my pastor if the parish might be guided to do the 33 Days of Preparation for Consecration. We could have public teachings, but the key would be to have the daily prayers and meditations forwarded to their emails and/or phones. My pastor wanted St. Louis' version to be utilized and we picked the Feast of the Annunciation (Mar 25th) as the day of Consecration. This not only provides time to prepare, but it will be a wonderful blessing to our Lent.

Now we're thinking of extending this opportunity to three other nearby parishes. Holy Trinity is a large church that could fit all those consecrating on March 25. That could be followed up by home consecrations to the Two Hearts!

I'm hoping that Father Schultz will provide an opportunity for me to preach on it the 30th or January 1.

    Keep us in your prayers!:)

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

This is wonderful!! The attacks are not surprising. What a floodgate of Grace's. No wonder the enemy gashed his teeth at you.

    Prayers!
There was a small group of colonists who sailed from England in 1633 in two ships, the Ark and the Dove. There were Catholics and Anglicans on board, seeking religious freedom. The first Mass in what would become Mary-land was celebrated on St. Clement's Island on March 25, 1634 shortly after their arrival, which is now in St. Mary's County, Maryland. So there is precedent!!!! Go with this. March 25 is still celebrated as Maryland Day, but we know the real reason.:)

I remember reading a few years ago about a fallen away Catholic who was thinking of suicide. He was inspired by the miraculous medal. As he struggled against temptation, depression and suicide, these are the words that came to him. He experienced an instant conversion. O Mary concieved without sin, pray for us who have recourced to thee. That is my cry to our Mother always when i need her.
