I could not agree more with your desire for a Great Sign, but I think the Church needs it the most - how else could the bishops and cardinals now in power realize they are headed in the wrong direction, they all seem so sure that they have all the power they need to change the Church according their thinking, but God always shakes up our plans! it almost appears that the chaos and bloodshed that is happening in the world is the result of the apostasy at the heart of the Church
My brother was talking to the very good and Holy Pastor of our Traditional Church a few days ago and asked him about the current War in the Holy Land. The good Father replied that he didn't do politics and was only interested in the Spiritual. But I think we see from Scripture and Church history that what happens in the Church and in the past to the Chosen people not only seriously impacts religion but the reality of the World around us. When the Jews abandoned God for false Gods they invariably got beaten in battle and even the entire people got taken into captivity. This happened so many times I couldn't even list them all. Actions had consequences as surely as night follows day. In the New Testament we see the Jews at the Trial of Jesus rejecting Him and crying out that His blood be upon them and their children. Some forty of fifty years later we saw the Fall of Jerusalem with the Fall of the Temple and the Great Diapora of the Jewish people. Again night follows day. After the so called Protestant , 'Reformation', huge wars swept Europe, the worse the Continent had ever seen, For instance the One Hundred years War in Germany. The Rejection of Faith in the Enlightenment led to the French Revolution, the terrible Napoleonic Wars, Horrible Revolutions everywhere and the eventual Rise of the horrors of Communism. Once again Night following day. We even see this in our own Spiritual Lives and the effects of our inner actions on the, 'Real World'. We reject God and what do we get? Well things like drug addiction, suicides, lawlessness, Corrupt politicians, the insanity of Woke, the list goes on and on. There would simply be no wars if people prayed and kept the ten commandments. Our Blessed Lady has been telling us this over and over again. It was no accident that War kicked of in the Middle East when that Abomination in Rome kicked off. It was no accident that the Virus kicked of when Pope Francis and his fellow travellers worshipped a Demon (Pachamama) in Rome.

I watched another discussion yesterday on the Duran channel. A retired British agent whose name escapes me (I think he was in MI 5 or 6) was talking about the dreadful events in Israel. I've been trying to make sense of how Iran is being blamed because HAMAS is closely aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood which is a Sunni Muslim outfit. I think the Brotherhood was founded in Egypt but is out of favour with the authorities there. I recall reading some years ago that the Brotherhood are on good terms with Erdogan in Turkey, the vast majority of Turks being Sunni Muslims. Iranians are followers of the Shia strand of Islam. Hezbollah and not HAMAS are believed to be Iran's proxies. Of course, now that the Israelis are venting their wrath on the Palestinians, all Muslim organisations will give at least lip service to the Palestinians. I find it hard to believe that any of those Juslim countries will risk being nuked by Israel but I wouldn't rule out terrorist attacks in European cities. I logged onto the forum because I was wondering whether anyone here had watched that discussion on the Duran. The British agent had a rasping cough so it was hard sometimes to hear clearly what he was saying but he gave some background to what led to the current bloodshed. Seems that many Jews invaded the Mosque (the third holiest shrine for Muslims) located on Temple Mount. He said that there is a faction in Israel, most of whom are from Asia, who are intent on fully restoring religious Judaism in the land of Israel, including rebuilding the temple. It seems that they have or are close to breeding a red heifer which is an important part of the Temple sacrifice. The participants in the discussion don't strike me as being men of any strong religious faith but if what that agent says is true, it's a bad sign for the future. I'm pretty sure that there was an attempt in history to rebuild the temple with calamitous results. And we know that one or two of the Church Fathers believed that the AC would rebuild the Temple. Even if they do manage to get a red heifer, I think there are other requirements for the Temple sacrifice which may be impossible to acquire although maybe they aren't as essential as the red heifer. Those Jews will get plenty of support from American Evangelicals for rebuilding the Temple. The Evangelicals seem to think that they will be sitting pretty in rapture land watching the apocalyptic war that precedes the Second Coming. Weird times. We'd better keep our lamps lit.

I listen to Michael Loftis from time to time because he is one of the most famous Pope Francis explainers in the World. I am honestly curious as to what he has to say. There is always a possibility that he is right and I am and people like me are wrong and if so it would be wonderful to discover this. I would like better than anything to be shown to be wrong. So I ventured to place a couple of comments on his utube videos. Michael became very angry at this indeed and suggested by comments were very, very stupid, in fact the stupidest he had ever read. So I gave up with videos. You can't dialogue with someone who is in a rage and insults, it is a waste of time. I might try it again sometime when he is calmer and I am a little less stupid.
That's a very interesting article. Thank you for posting it. I wonder what they will put in the tabernacle or holy of holies as a substitute for the ark of the covenant. Maybe a copy of the Torah or maybe they won't have a tabernacle? I'm not sure, but I think that many Jews don't believe in bodily resurrection. From the article you linked, I get the impression that the people planning to rebuild the temple think that they won't have a physical death. Maybe I'm reading something into it that isn't there. If I'm right about their belief, doesn't it mean that they and the Evangelicals imagine that they will be unscathed while the rest of us suffer either directly at the hands of God or indirectly at the hands of the AC and his followers? Catholic Answers has a good article by Jimmy Akin on the question of a third temple. He gives a link to another article by Tom Nash in Catholic World Report. Tom Nash believes that the temple won't be rebuilt. I'm inclined to agree with Jimmy Akin's position.
