That is really weird. I can see it perfectly. I even use it for my screen saver. I don't know what's going on.
I suspect that different people looking at the picure will see dfferent things. I can see the host; I can also see Our Lady holding the child Jesus
Wow! Padraig, I've never seen Our Lady in that photo. I think you're right about different things. My non Catholic friends see angels very consistently in the photo. Now, I'm going to have to see if I can see Our Lady in the photo. What I see is pretty close to a picture I have of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with Jesus' hand near His heart. This is an old family picture that I inherited. Now, off to look for Our Lady!
I do believe like Mary's child, that one would know instinctively if someone was asking for prayer. I do however wonder what the lights were that my grandmother etc used to see.
Padraig, I found her!!!! You have an amazing eye for our most beautiful Mother!!!! I seem to find more in that photo everytime I go looking, but this is the first time I have seen Our Lady!!!! She's on the left, correct?
I didn't realise I could click on the picture and enlarge it. I could see where the sun was spinning in the first, causing globe lights everywhere. But when I enlarged the picture, I see Our Blessed Mother standing under a tree, I see the Holy Spirit in the sun, and the sun is in front of a cross... yes?
Wow! Mary's child! I have to o back and look. Now, I know the cross was there at the time this photo was taken, but you've certainly seen more than I did. I finally found Our Lady, but the rest, wow! The tree I am talking about is the tree on he right. There I see the host with the Sacred Heart and the fingers.
Maybe it is me, and I need to get a pair of glasses on. But I see under the tree what looks to be like a statue of Our Blessed Mother praying. Our Lady of Fatima, but .. maybe is a stick or something and my eyes are bad <g>. I see the host that you are referring to, but to me it is one of the globes of light coming from the sun. But I can definitely see The Holy Spirit in the Sun spreading His wings out radiating love everywhere.
Okay. Mthats where I see the hands. They are resting on the chest with the fingers pointing to the Host in which is contained the Sacred Heart. I see Our Lady in the left tree. Her head is bowed as though she is in prayer. This photo literally changes whenever I study it. There seems to be some thing new in in every time I look! I am amazed. Like I said, my non-Catholic friends always see angels. I still haven't found them!
Yes but the hand is also Our Lady and the Child Jesus. Look at it diagonally left to right. not up and down. The tips of the fingers are the start of Mary's head. So praying hand +, Mary and Jesus ; very neat.
Hi Padraig & everyone, Thank you for welcome on other thread ( more westerly than Roscrea Padraig!) Some years ago, I had been blessed with a Padre Pio bandage and afterwards in the car on the journey home, I kept getting a sweet musky smell which I later learned was Padre Pio's scent. Roll on three years and I was walking down the street in Medjugorje towards the church and I got the scent of the exact same perfume. when I returned to the guesthouse, I told my Mum saying I got the Padre Pio scent on the street & she said she had heard of people having that experience before in medjugorje.
Welcome Gabriella - we all love Padre Pio here - one of the 'few' mystical experiences of my life was to see a statue of our Lady transform into a full image of Padre Pio for ten minutes at Mount Mellaray Grotto during an all-night prayer vigil. So I try to remain close to Padre Pio at all times!

I see there is a new website dedicated to the mystical events that occured in Mount Melleray, Co Waterford in 1985 and which saw thousands of people make vigils at the grotto. http://www.melleray.com/prayer_and_peace/ The stories of 'moving statues' and visions made the news in Ireland but was soon mocked in many of the tabloid newspapers. There was controversy because in on the of the alleged messages our Lady is supposed to have said that the 'devil would take over God's church in ten years'. This could have been referring to the child abuse scandals that rocked the Catholic Church in Ireland from the mid-90s that led in turn to a dramatic decline in Church attendance in ireland from that period.
