I’m thinking of working on spreading devotion to Mary under her title of, Our Lady of the Cape, the Patroness of Canada: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_the_Cape I have been wanting Our Lady of the Cape to be better known for some time now, I’ve been having difficulty finding out when her Feast Day is. (Which turns out to be the day before the Assumption, and seems to be only celebrated in Quebec.) Over these past two weeks, my cultural geography class started discussing religion, so decided to share the Shrine and Devotion of Our Lady of the Cape with her and she added it to one her slides on Sacred Spaces. (Please pray that this success becomes very fruitful for my class.) I’m thinking of making plaques of Our Lady of the Cape to give to my family, priests and bishop, and handing cards on Our Lady of the Cape to my fellow-parishioners. Any tips and advice on how to spread this patriotic devotion to my fellow-Canadians?
I just watched our lady of the cape on yoututube. That was beautiful. I never heard of this before. They made her queen of canada. Very beautiful and inspiring. A wonderful posting. Thank you and God bless you... Gary
I think putting cards in the vestibule at church would be a good idea. I have a friend who goes to the post office and always leaves a bunch of holy cards on the table where you make out your checks and says by the time she's done at the tellers and turns around all the cards are gone! I saw a show Penny and Bob Lord did from there once and Bob Lord testified that he saw Our Lady's statue's eyes open and look at him! I see they have a live feed from the shrine. c'est magnifique Sanctuaire Notre Dame Du Cap
Interesting, the statues eyes opened when they dedicated the new shrine to Our Lady. They say her gaze was stern and sad, perhaps a foreshadowing of what was about to happen to Canada in the years to come.
Just discovered that Canada' Coast to Coast Rosary Campaign has a devotion to Our Lady of the Cape: https://rosarycoasttocoast.ca
Instead of “building a bridge”of “dialogue” with people involved in homosexual behaviour, we should be asking Our Lady to form an ice bridge for them.
I cannot give or take away anything from what you said because that is the correct answer that' for sure.
