Hoping to uplift spirits here a bit: Yesterday I noticed a new statue of Our Lady tucked into a corner of neighbor's (to our left) porch. She is facing their doorway, presumably watching their comings & goings. Is probably 24 inches (61 cm) in height. Virgin de Guadalupe. That's after -again- noticing a smaller Our Lady quietly gazing out from a corner of another neighbor's (to our right) porch. So...I am lovingly "sandwiched" when outdoors. Another home, next to left-hand neighbor, has a little shrine to Our Lady on her lawn. I take comfort when coming and going, or merely outdoors - knowing She is so nicely represented so closeby!
