I'm sneaking back in just to share some good news. My brother Mike and his wife Isobel live in Sarasota and decided to hunker down for Irma! Well, Mike just called and said that many homes in their neighborhood experienced significant damage, mostly from fallen trees. Their home, however, is intact! Maybe that shrine to Our Lady that they have in their yard, not only expresses their consecration to Mary, but points to her protection! Wish I had a picture of it! Isobel is Filipino, so you know her love for Mary. My brother is not far behind! What amazes me, even the wooden framing and screening over their backyard pool failed to blow away! Amazing! Thank you, Dear Lady! Praise you, Jesus! Safe Under the Mantle of Mary!
