"...why is it ok for the SSPX to do that (use pressure to lift an excommunication) and not some LBQT crowd to do it?"

I'm not saying that either is ok, but the former is about dealing with laws made by men, which are open to appeal, and the latter is about the commands of God (fundamentally, the sin of Onan), which are eternal and immutable, the notion of appealing against Perfect Goodness and Knowledge being absurd.

I hope that John Paul Meenan is being overly pessimistic. I pray that Christ and His Mother will not abandon us. Our Lord speculated, during His time on Earth, that there might be no Faith left, when He returns. It's certainly a possibility, but this does not necessarily imply that He will foresake those who continue to cling to It.

We will not be abandoned. "Can a mother forget her baby?" From an OT prophet. I think its Jeremiah but cant be sure. But I know Our Heavelny Mother and Queen will not abandon us but we are in for some very rough times. The barque of Peter may very well appear to sink but the Church will rise again purified and holy. We have been told this by Our Lady at Fatima and by Our Lady of Good Success. When all seems lost all will be saved.
Im thinking of one of the closing lines of the wonderful movie Casablanca. "I hope you know this is not going to be pleasant for either one of us."
But we will come out the other side of it either here on earth to see it or with the Cloud of Witnesses in Heaven.

I saw wisdom in these words from John Paul Meenan:

"the good are usually tempted with the good, for obvious evil has no real attraction for them".
When the old ways aren't working, Satan is wily enough to find new ways to lead us astray, covering old sins with new gloss. The sins of pride and disobedience are as old as time.

They say if there were only one single good Catholic in the whole World left alive that in that person would be the Church of Christ.

I would try not to dwell too much on the goings on in Rome. A lot worse is coming down the line and it is not good loosing your inner peace, especially at this early stage.

I watched one commentator who went ballistic and said he did not sleep all night. This is not good. If it make you so angry you loose your cool that badly better to switch the whole thing off and just pray for them all. I can understand righteous anger but maybe not going overboard.

Besides prayer what else can we do about all this anyway.?

I sit in a house and every day I watch a gentleman walk into a brothel across the street. I may not be able to read men's hearts but God has gifted me with a brain and the basic use of reason. I don't need to have supernatural grace to see into his heart but if I were to guess that he is going in there to have a laison with prostitutes I'd have a very high over 95% certainty it is so. It's kinda 1 and 1 makes two.

If I see a Priest , a Bishop , a Cardinal or even a Pope going on and on and on obsessively about homosexual, 'Rights', you better believe I have a good idea where they are coming from..and I do not need to be a Padre Pio to do so. No reading of hearts or tea leaves. If I guess they are homosexuals themselves I'd guess 99 times out of a hundred I'd be right on target.

    Pope or no Pope.

None of us are stupid . 1 and 1 makes two. It's not rocket science. It's not supernatural. It's basic common sense.

For someone who has never heard about the Third Secret of Fatima in its essence, it is tempting to think that the Church has apostatized in its entirety. Knowledge is grace when it leads to the acceptance of the truth; otherwise, one loses invincible ignorance as the last plank of salvation.

If a Pope and most of the Cardinals and Bishops are heading off into darkest outer space we can be pretty safe in saying the False Church is itself is heading there with them.

The very, very few of us Faithful Catholics left down here on planet Earth are watching them just after take off. The True Church below.

Count your blessings, it reminds me of attending an exorcism for the very first time and the demons appear right in front of you for the very first time.
It's better to see what you are fighting face to face. No longer hidden in the shadows.

But in this case the demons appear on the faces of Bishops, Cardinals and Popes.

    Right before your very eyes.

I see this in my own prayer life now pretty well every day and night and in a curious kind of way it is a great blessing. Myself and Satan have become close
aquaintances. very, very close. I know them, they know me. Enemies at close quarters waking me by night and by day, sword to sword, nose to nose.

The folks in the Vatican on the other hand deny their very existence.

Nowhere on the entire Planet do so many powerful demons gather on Earth at the present time than in the City of Rome. Most especially in the Vatican.

With the most huge, huge, huge power.

Perhaps you are right, Pádraig but in the case of Pope Francis I seem to remember that in one of his off the cuff moments he called homosexuals by some very derogatory or rude term. He had to apologise afterwards for it. This makes me think that Pope Francis was not of that orientation. But in general what I think we are dealing with here in relation to the Holy Fathers is not people who are or even were active sodomites but people who may have that orientation but for whatever reason are very sympathetic to those with LGBTQ orientations.

I think when you are dealing with demons or folks who are fully in their possession (as I believe Papa Frankie was ) you are dealing with a phenomenal level of evil that is beyond human comprehension, One thing about it such wickedness is that it is not amenable to human logic. They are perfectly able to say things that are contradictory and illogical at the same time. It does not bother them in the least. For ourselves being illogical and contradictory bother us because it is the road to madness. We could not handle such things easily whereas the demons can easily do so.. It is water of the ducks back.

So I believe it was so for Papa Frankie. He would with perfect ease speak out of both sides of his mouth at the one time with no qualms. A very sure sign of very strong diabolical influence. So at the one time he could meet Father James Martin as though he were the best thing that ever happened while at the same time call homosexual seminarians faggots. None of this bothers Frankie in being supremely illogical and contradictory because it did not bother his demons inside him.

The demons could care less about homosexual activity. In fact we are told it disgusts them so much that they actually withdraw from people whilst they are in their filthy acts. There only interest is to lead people to hell. How they do it does not matter to them. They are not concerned with matters of truth and logic. Neither was Papa Frankie.

Would it be reasonable to say that if faithful Catholics are excommunicated as schismatics, by the 'Pride Church', it is the Pride Church that will itself be in schism?

If so, will we have to carry on without a pope?

I pray to Our Lord that He does not permit things to come to this.

I know i am always quoting Malachi Martin but he did say in one of his interviews with Bernard Jantzen that faithful Catholics might very well reach a place where they would be without the comfort and support of the papacy. Incidentally friends of his said he was every day looking for the Mother of God to come as she promised to do at Fatima and bring the Reign of the Immaculate Heart. What we are living through is a purification and a chastisement. Bad priests are the worst chastisement God can send according to St John Eudes. Our Eternal Father is very very angry with His Church. Like the people of ancient Israel we are being severely punished. As maryrose said in an earlier post we must pray and offer reparation as much as we can. And as Purple Flower said we must look in the mirror and see how our own sins have helped to bring this about. Im sure that is what the Warning is about. To see our own part in this onslaught of evil. Many of us have had little glimpses into this and it is painful beyond measure. As the angel told Sister Sasagawa " now is the time to put on sackcloth"

"Now as regards the mystery of Fatima it still stands.... So Russia is within the plans. Why? Err....that would take me too far afield into papal secrets. Why Russia and Kiev are involved in the final solution of this problem. But they are. They are part-and-parcel and it's really God's choice....."I wouldn't have chosen the Russians or Kiev. Or the east for salvation but salvation is to come from the east for us all" - Malachi Martin

God chose the war in Ukraine apparently and Malachi described it as a "final solution". He stated the above quote just after the fall of the Berlin wall, but who knows how long in advance of this statement this was a papal secret. Since this was known 30+ years ago by the Vatican, other world players likely held this information as well. Powerful ancient currents are taking everyone for a ride, and all of what is happening today has likely been known to be going to happen for much more than 30 years.

As usual God gave us a way out, but the window of opportunity passed long ago. So now everything plays out.
