One of the most consistent Spiritual Work of Mercy performed by the Holy Father in the last year of his life was his frequent, if not daily calls to a member of the clergy in Gaza. I've come to believe he was sending a message to the world, alerting us to the horror of genocide that continues to this day. In my mind this genocide competes with my horror of abortion, and now I cry over two mind-boggling realities. The clip below illustrates this horror, and I'm surprised that the powers-that-be have yet to cancel it. It also reveals that President Trump (are most politicians?) is a pragmatist and only acts to maintain his base. For anyone who supports an Israeli regime which seeks to obliterate Hamas citizens, including the purposeful murder of innocents (think Dec. 28), really has a callous heart. https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinio...ce=digest-prolife-2025-05-01&utm_medium=email How sadly ironic is my signature at the bottom of each of my posts. May that dawn soon come in its fullness! Lord have Mercy. Come Lord Jesus. ! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Best pray for them, Mario, and for future generations of Catholics who will be saddled with the burden of their shame.
