Yes thank you Brian, that is the one. If you go to the 41:36 mark, thats where a comment comes in about the Chastisement which Taylor then addresses. If anyone else finds some good youtubes or blog posts on the subject of the sorry, sad, even pathetic statements made in the past 10 days or so, please post them. What came to my mind when I heard them was St Paul to the Galations: "As we have said before, so say I now again, If any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema." Galations 1:9
What did your country ever do to deserve a PM like Jacinda Ardern what a dreadful woman? I have 2 grandsons here in Ireland and our country is going down into the swamp as well. Good News - God is going to drain the swamp in the coming years through chastisement - One day soon we will prefer chastisement to what we see on our streets indeed I believe things will become so bad we would prefer chastisement for the sake of our grandchildren. After this purification will come an era of peace. I am already praying that one of my grandsons might become a priest in the new era. I am only a third generation Catholic as my ancestry is protestant - so there has never been a priest in my family. What joy it would be for me that one of my lineage would be a priest. There is always hope with God!
Beautiful comforting words Bobby. Yes I think as much as we all dread the events to come we all see the need. I totally understand where Santa Fe is coming from. I shudder for my own grandchildren growing up in this godless cess pool . But our Blessed Mother has promised that she will come when things are at their worst. "Who is she arising bright as the sun ...more terrible than an army set in battle array?"
I'm sorry you're fed a daily dosage of disappointment! May Holy Mass and MOG always be here to encourage you. Faith consoles us that Jesus is in the driver's seat and He will escort us into Peace. Let our pursuit of love and holiness hasten that day! 2Peter 3:11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! 13 But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
I got a bit of a shock at Mass yesterday morning at the prayers of the Faithful. Our Parish Priest who I had kind of written off as part of the Church Establishment and in no way would ever ask questions at the prayers of the Faithful prayed. 'Let us pray for Pope Francis that he preaches only the Teachings of the Catholic Church'. I nearly fell off my seat. This priest is as mainline as they come. If he could say something like this there must be many, many clergy right at the Church's centre asking big, big questions. The implication of course in this prayer being that Papa Frankie has blown of course and is not preaching the Teachings of the Church. It cheered be up considerably. Of course the priest was covering his ass by making a veiled criticism in this way. But just the same it made me smile.
Terry Barber a well known American evangelist ( Lighthouse media among other things) and a long time radio show host with Jesse Romero made a you tube two days ago asking the pope to step down and let someone who believes the teachings of Christ to take over. He has been immensely patient and charitable about PF in the past so this is a big shift.
Yes, there seem to be a lot of people asking questions now that never did so before. A kind of sea change. It is so good to see it. Thank God. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.
And this is the best argument against this being the end of the end times, not the beginning of the end times. The deception will be so great, and the Faith so weakened, there will be no public outcry against it like we’re seeing today.
Correct. Although as things get worse and they will people will believe it is the End,as they did in Rome when their Empire fell.
A searing criticism of Pope Francis' latest utterances by the highly respected Fr. Thomas Weinandy, in today's "Catholic Thing": https://www.thecatholicthing.org/
I was listening to Mother Miriam today on Catholic radio. She had some very harsh things to say about Pope Francis . . .you can listen to her here.https://thestationofthecross.com/programs/mother-miriam-live/ title is "All Religions Lead to Heaven" .
Pope Francis explains the Devil and proves his existence… with the saints! "The battle against the spirit of evil is won as Jesus won it in the wilderness: by striking with the word of God." https://zenit.org/2024/09/25/pope-f...vil-and-proves-his-existence-with-the-saints/ This is actually a pretty good article. Well worth reading IMO. I didn't know where to put this, so I put it here.
The following article speaks of a worldwide disconnect of Catholics with the moral demands of their Faith. It looks grim to me. Never in history has such delusion infiltrated the Church. One may argue that it is an unfair representation, but... https://www.pewresearch.org/religio...irth-control-and-to-let-women-become-priests/ O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
I am not sure what the demographics are, not that I really care all that much to find out. But I suspect the vast majority of Catholics being polled don't go to church unless it is for a baptism, wedding or funeral. Essentially cultural Catholicism vs faith based Catholicism. When I go to mass for certain celebrations, feast days and such, often the vast majority of laity have no idea what is actually happening during the mass. They don't know when to stand, sit or kneel. In Mexico there is a rite of passage for young women who reach the age of 15, that is celebrated in the church, called a Quinceañera. Often with these celebrations no one has a clue what is happening during the mass.
Personnel is policy. (If one is not angry about this level of apostasy it’s a lack or failure of charity.)
And on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception Insane. My response per Don Dolindo - Jesus will handle it: "Close your eyes and say with all your soul, "Jesus, you take care of it". Do not be afraid, I will take care of things and you will bless my name by humbling yourself. A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this well."
It's hard not to get angry at all that is going on. But if we have no power to change anything all we can do is had it over to God in prayer to take care off. One good thing at the moment is that it should be obvious to anyone paying the least little but of attention that really wicked things are taking place. It's all out in the open with little or no pretense. That at least is good. If there were anything else we as ordinary lay Catholics could do I would be happy to do it. But I can't think of anything.
