A similar thing happened in our church. We had a tremendous wind storm that impacted much of the northern Oregon coast and everyone lost power for a week. Our Lady of Victory was just a block away from our small little tourist town called Seaside. We couldn't hold Mass in the church because several stained glass windows were destroyed and the roof was unstable. Father said Mass in our small parish center with candlelight and a large borrowed heater or two to warm the space. The amazing part of it all was that the exact moment that Father elevated the Host during the Consecration, all of the lights turned on and the city came back to life. Such a wonderful memory!
I’ve noticed a lot of new songs on my Christian station have themes of the king returning. This is hail, hail Lion of Judah

I wonder what will happen when all these Protestant Sects return to the Church? So strange to imagine it. Imagine a Pope and Cardinals who were Jewish? I hope I live to see it; amazing. I would guess they would all put the rest of us to shame. As to Mass Islamic conversion; I can't even imagine what that might look like.
One Great thing about Catholic Prophesy is that it is a great giver of hope; that there are wonderful events ahead. Great Popes and a wonderful renewed very holy Church reborn. But reborn out of the ashes of the old. It is so clear now that it all has to be burnt down to the sticks before the new can rise.
I manage to imagine that after the reunification of the churches, the Church returns to having a system of pentarchy to help the pope govern the Church, especially if it is true that we will regress technologically to the 18th century after the great punishment. I think it is possible that after the conversion of Russia, we can include Moscow in this system of governance, which would then be a hexarchy without eliminating the primacy of the Romans.
An indicator of how far off-line PF and Touchy have strayed, is that the Dutch bishops have rejected their sodomy-blessing document. And with some straight, stern language, too. If this is all too much for the liberal Dutch bishops, there remains hope for us all. A liberalism that recognises and respects certain doctrinal red lines is not necessarily unCatholic (I say this very reservedly)! The Dutch bishops make a very good point concerning the over-emphasis on a pastoralism that goes to such extremes as to be the opponent of doctrine. Thankfully, they are taking the side of doctrine.
Not in my church. I have never seen this in any church in the US I have attended. Maybe he needs to find a different parish?
Just saw this on life site: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/c...tm_source=featured-news&utm_campaign=catholic
Dear Cardinal Zen even looks like a Saint. Also of course he is a living Martyr having being imprisoned for a very long time by the Chinese Communists. Now have a look at these two faces; which would you trust? Which would anyone trust?
Mundabor just posted something linking to this (warning, somewhat graphic, more just creepy): (apparently Cardinal Fernandez has more books with weirdness in them, so, again, content warning): https://www.gloria.tv/post/Rfp1Y4yTRAyK2y4gw2NhQK942
Touchy used his 'youth' to excuse his first porn book. One of the new ones that has come to light was apparently published as recently as 2004, when he would have been a 'youthful' 42!
There are too many objectors, now. All the Africans, all the Dutch, so many others in varying parts of the world that even the lukewarm are going to soon join the cascade. As the saying goes, Pope Francis may have just 'jumped the shark'.
According to a report on Ann Barnhardt, Pope Francis has recently expressed his gratitude to Vatican correspondents for their discretion in not reporting recent Vatican scandals. As one person pointed out, try to imagine how abuse victims feel about such 'omerta'.
They have been completely cast off by this "crew". The most abandoned group of the truly marginalized...
Remember when PF accused a Chilean victim of a pederast priest of lying? Think of it, a Pope deploying the power of his office to calumnify a child abuse victim-I can't get my head around it. There seem to be clear patterns here.
I had forgotten about that (no wonder). And think of the collateral damage wrought by that in a family - parents, siblings, friends, extended family. It spreads like a cancer, everyone blaming everyone else. And instead of honestly addressing it, for some reason they've decided to maximize the suffering of all. Even those whom it does not directly affect. That, imho, is just plain evil.
