Wow. That's the first info I have heard about our new bishop I am in the Tucson diocese and our new bishop was installed last Nov. Sigh. It now makes sense why when I asked my pastor how he liked the new bishop he shook his head. I had prayed for an traditional orthodox bishop. Guess the Lord thought we needed something else. Sigh! Ya know....I worked for ICE for over 10 years. The border issues and the illegal immigration has been going on for YEARS. I know what comes across our borders. This heart wrenching drama we are watching on the msm is absolute academy award winning fictional drama. I am not saying mistakes don't happen but it isn't happening like the media is promoting. But again, people don't want to hear the truth or facts....they want to whip up public frenzy and cause dissention and chaos. And the magic end is that the progressive left is deflecting the heat off of the IG report and trying to stir up their base for the mid terms.
https://www.newsmax.com/dealhudson/...eisenburger-immigration/2018/06/20/id/867276/ Dumb bishop who has no brain. God spare us from dumb bishops. There seems to be a lot of them around!
Thank you Tanker for clarifying this situation. I never doubted it was a manufactured crisis. The lies and complicity and hypocrisy are stunning and now a bishop weighs in with such a MOAB of s threat. Leftists must be into a whole new zone of desperate. They are exposing themselves daily. Most recent horror Peter Fonda's vile tweets. He should be arrested. Thank God for border patrol and ICE. Without them there would be utter chaos.
Just more confusion and playing both sides w/o any understanding of what makes any country stable. What's immoral is endangering lives on the whole due to breaking down the fiber of what established laws are there for. Why podiums are provided to the clueless, completely out of touch pushers of some impossible man made utopia is beyond me. Chaos only permits the lawless to create even more damage to foundations of any sovereign country. This man is putty in the hands of the godless globalists....and he, to be kind, is so naive that he can't conceive of that being a possibility. He doesn't know the situation but "stands with the bishops".....does he know some of those bishops would like to begin excommunication procedures about this topic??? Pope Francis stated Wednesday that human dignity is not a question of citizenship, while also insisting that America’s immigration problem dates back to well before the Trump Administration. In a first tweet, which bore the hashtag #WithRefugees, the pontiff said that a person’s dignity is independent of citizenship status, adding that “saving the life” of a person fleeing war or poverty is “an act of humanity.” A couple hours later, the pope returned to Twitter to tell folks that we meet Jesus in the poor, the rejected, and in refugees and to urge people not to let fear get in the way of welcoming migrants. We encounter Jesus in those who are poor, rejected, or refugees. Do not let fear get in the way of welcoming our neighbour in need. In an exclusive interview with Reuters obtained by Breitbart News Wednesday, Pope Francis refused to take a position on the current immigration debates taking place in the United States, but insisted that they pre-date Donald Trump. The pope said that he stood behind the U.S. bishops but did not have a personal opinion on the matter. “Not to wash my hands,” he said, “but because I don’t know the situation there very well.” In his interview, Reuters reported Phil Pullella pushed further, asking Francis what he thinks of “the current situation where in the last months some 2000 minors have been separated from their parents and families at the border with Mexico.” Once again, the pope declined to answer, repeating that he stood with the bishops. The pope then went on to add: “During the Obama years I celebrated Mass in Ciudad Juárez while on the other side of the border 50 bishops concelebrated and in the stadium there were many people. The problem already existed there. It’s not just an issue with Trump but goes back to prior governments.” http://www.breitbart.com/big-govern...n-on-migrant-question-find-jesus-in-refugees/
Another interview with Mark Taylor about the Trump Prophecies.....with CBN.....every once in a while it's good to not get stuck in the present chaos and pray more to enable God's will to more speedily happen. Many road blocks are currently happening since "winning" is causing the diabolical spirit to erupt everywhere. And this man is literally having to make these changes all alone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=318&v=MZVPcKXxa-Q
This makes perfect sense to me. Evil is thrashing its dragon tail with great ferocity. The horror of peyer Fonda's tweets tell you all you need to know about these people. "Those who scream the loudest have the most to hide." I hope the SS takes him away. Seriously. Make an example of this. These are threats against the first Family and must be taken seriously!
I just watched a live segment of Melania Trump visiting a detention center in Texas for immigrants between the ages of 12-17. Imho she did a wonderful job when she met the staff there and asked some very pertinent questions. I believe that she is in the process of meeting some of the children right now. There are a few articles available about her visit already. Upon my search for such articles, I came across an article from the Chicago Tribune about a lawsuit coming from detainees at detention center in Virginia. It appears that anything positive coming from the current administration is always quickly targeted by the opposition. I also saw that President Trump invited House Minority Leader Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Schumer to the White House to discuss the current immigration crisis. I keep praying that good progress is made instead of all of this "back and forth, and go nowhere" nonsense. Two days ago the Democrats complained that families were being separated at the border, then yesterday President Trump signed a document to prevent this from occurring and the Democrats quickly opposed this. They are making it very obvious that they will only be happy with a "Catch and Release" situation but I keeping praying that they will find some compromise so our country can fix some of the current immigration problems and move forward. Andrew Harnik/AP Photo Melania Trump makes surprise trip to child detention center at border By REBECCA MORIN 06/21/2018 https://www.politico.com/story/2018/06/21/melania-trump-border-visit-migrant-kids-661977 First lady Melania Trump on Thursday made a surprise visit to a child detention center in South Texas a day after President Donald Trump bowed to public pressure and halted his administration's policy of separating families who illegally cross the border. “We all know they're here without their families, and I want to thank you for your hard work, your compassion and your kindness you're giving them in these difficult times,” Melania Trump said during remarks at a child detention center in McAllen, Texas. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar is also on the trip, which will include tours at the nonprofit social services center for children and a customs and border patrol processing center. The White House said in a statement that the first lady‘s goals are to “thank law enforcement and social services providers for their hard work“ in addition to hearing more on how the administration can build on efforts to reunite children with their families. A White House official on Wednesday told POLITICO that the first lady had been arguing behind the scenes to end family separation, and specifically had conversations with her husband about it.
I watched a most informative Trump Cabinet meeting today where the President answered the targeted questions (what else) about this afterwards. The fawning lib press still hasn't learned that whatever they think they might do to this man always eventually backfires on them....with the real facts. In the end, it can be said that this same press has enabled this ongoing catastrophe because they covered it up under Obama and fail to blame the Democratically controlled Congress under Bush for putting the policy into place. President Trump RIPS Obama’s ‘Inhumane Treatment’ of Migrant Children (VIDEO) President Trump ripped Obama for his ‘inhumane treatment’ of migrant children on Thursday during a cabinet meeting. Obama’s ‘catch and release’ open borders immigration policy is destroying America. Nobody cared how illegal immigrants were treated when Obama was president. The media hid the photos of the children in cages. Now Trump is being blamed for Obama’s mess. “In 2014, in the Obama Administration they have pictures so bad they had a judge that said it was inhumane the way they were treating children. Take a look at some of the court rulings against the Obama Administration. They talked about the inhumane treatment. They were treating them terribly,” Trump said. The rabid left circulated photos of illegal alien children in cages on social media, blaming President Trump for a ‘humanitarian crisis,’ at the border. Only the photos are from 2014 when Obama was president. No one seemed to care Obama was putting children in cages. Now that Trump is president, the media is accusing him of keeping migrant children in concentration camps. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...inhumane-treatment-of-migrant-children-video/
Poll: 3:1 Public Support for Trump’s Push to End Catch-and-Release Democrats are converting their emotional protests against “family separation” into unpopular calls for the catch-and-release of many Central American migrants into ordinary Americans’ jobsites and schools. The pre-election, pro-migration push is a huge risk, according to a poll by The Economist and YouGov which shows 3:1 public opposition to the Democrats’s catch-and-release policy. That opposition to catch-and-release was reinforced by President Donald Trump’s June 20 Executive Order to keep families together in detention until their appeal is decided by a judge. http://www.breitbart.com/2018-elect...support-for-trump-push-end-catch-and-release/
Hmmmm.....apparently another example of that "what a wicked web we weave..... SHOCK: Migrant Mother and ‘Crying Girl’ Were Never Separated; Mom Left Husband With Good Job, 3 Other Kids, Paid Coyote $6K to Get ‘Better Life’ in US The Daily Mail interviewed the husband of the migrant mother of the crying girl in the now world famous photo taken by Getty Images’ John Moore as they were apprehended by Border Patrol agents crossing illegally into the U.S. earlier this month. The top photo has been used by the media and activists to pummel the Trump administration for its decision to start strictly enforcing immigration laws at the border by prosecuting all illegal border crossers, prompting children to be taken from their parents caught sneaking them in. The husband said his wife left him and their three older children for a “better life” in the U.S. He said she was seeking political ayslum but he made no mention of any gangs or threats by the government, just that his wife wanted to live the American Dream. Photographs from Facebook posted by the Mail show a happy mother with her family driving a nice car. However, the husband says his wife left without telling him or giving him the chance to say goodbye to their daughter. ....... You can imagine how I felt when I saw that photo of my daughter. It broke my heart. It’s difficult as a father to see that, but I know now that they are not in danger. They are safer now than when they were making that journey to the border,’ he said. Denis said his wife and daughter were never separated by border control agents and remain together. He revealed that his wife had previously mentioned her wish to go to the United States for a ‘better future’ but did not tell him nor any of their family members that she was planning to make the trek. ‘I didn’t support it. I asked her, why? Why would she want to put our little girl through that? But it was her decision at the end of the day.’ He said that Sandra had always wanted to experience ‘the American dream’ and hoped to find a good job in the States. Denis, who works as a captain at a port on the coast of Puerto Cortes, explained that things back home were fine but not great, and that his wife was seeking political asylum. He said that Sandra set out on the 1,800-mile journey with the baby girl on June 3, at 6am, and he has not heard from her since. ‘I never got the chance to say goodbye to my daughter and now all I can do is wait’, he said, adding that he hopes they are either granted political asylum or are sent back home. …The couple has three other children, son Wesly, 14, and daughters Cindy, 11, and Brianna, six. …He said he heard from friends that his wife paid $6,000 for a coyote – a term for someone who smuggles people across the border. Time used the photo for its cover to attack President Trump over enforcing immigration laws. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...kids-paid-coyote-6k-to-get-better-life-in-us/
Here are the last two full episodes of World Over. A lot of what is discussed pertains to the USA, President Trump and the current immigration crisis at the southern border. In yesterday's episode there is also a very good segment about the current plight of the Christians in Syria. In last week's episode they also discuss the USA and North Korea summit.
Washington, D.C.: the Psychopath Capital of America A new study ranks each state, plus D.C., by their psychopathic tendencies. The race for first? It isn’t even close. ......... What’s going on? There’s one big structural reason: There tend to be more psychopathic personalities in denser areas, and the District of Columbia is denser than even the densest state, so it makes sense that it would top the list. But even when you correct the rankings for density, Murphy says, Washington still ranks first. This, Murphy hypothesizes, is because psychopaths are attracted to the kinds of jobs Washington offers—jobs that reward raw ambition, a relentless single-mindedness and, let’s admit it, the willingness to step over a few bodies along the way. “Psychopaths have an awfully grandiose way of thinking about themselves, and D.C. has numerous means of seeking and attaining power,” he wrote in an email. The television critics who dismissed Netflix’s “House of Cards” as cartoonish and unrealistic—surely nobody could be that villainous— may have a few apologies to make. “The presence of psychopaths in the District of Columbia is consistent with the conjecture … that psychopaths are likely to be effective in the political sphere,” Murphy writes in the paper. ........ Murphy’s findings might ring true to anyone in D.C. who’s found themselves on the wrong end of a ruthless bureaucratic knife-fighter, or just anyone who’s been cut off one too many times by a BMW in downtown Bethesda. On a national level, it raises the troubling question as to what it means to live in a country whose institutions are set up to reward some very dubious human traits. Like it or not, we’re more likely than not to wind up with some alarming personalities in positions of power. ......... But that doesn’t relieve us of the responsibility to consider the darker side and somehow allow for it. “The way we design our political institutions,” Murphy wrote in an email, “should reflect the fact that psychopaths are more likely to be effective politicians.” https://www.politico.com/magazine/s...n-dc-the-psychopath-capital-of-america-218892
'I always do my best to treat people respectfully, including those I disagree with': Sarah Sanders slams owner of restaurant who kicked out her and seven members of her family because she 'works for the president' ..... Sarah Sanders has slammed the manager of a Virginia restaurant who refused to serve her and seven family members on Friday night, saying: 'Her actions say far more about her than about me'. The White House Press Secretary tweeted on Saturday morning that she 'politely left' The Red Hen in Lexington after it was made clear she was not welcome 'because I work for POTUS'. The incident first came to light when staff member Jaike Foley-Schultz said he was only able to serve Sanders for two minutes before the manager came over and kicked her out. ....... The Red Hen accepts walk-ins, as Sanders' name had apparently already been written down by staff and assigned to a table suggests she had pre-booked. ...... Sanders' father, Mike Huckabee, the governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, also slammed the decision to evict his daughter. 'Bigotry. On the menu at The Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington VA. Or you can ask for the 'Hate Plate'. And appetizers are 'small plates for small minds'' he tweeted on Saturday. God bless all these people dealing with this kind of bigotry. I just don't even know how to process people's behaviors. It has to be demons. They must be absolutely everywhere. I sometimes feel i am living on another planet. The hypocrisy is mind blowing. I pray I never succumb to treating others with so much blind hatred. Please Lord, give me the grace to get through all this our world is going through. And please give the grace to all on this board and my family. Jesus, I trust in you!
The following article is less about Peter Fonda specifically and more about what is occurring in general and imho it's really not good at all. It is also interesting that Peter Fonda tweeted about both Sarah Sanders and Kristjen Nielson and they both experienced persecution from others this past week. I truly wish that these celebrities would consider how their actions can insight hate sometimes. I pray that is not their intention. Peter Fonda's unhinged tweets spark debate about crude attacks By Howard Kurtz | June 24, 2018 | http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-tweets-spark-debate-about-crude-attacks.html Kurtz: When Trump's critics mirror his tactics 'MediaBuzz' host Howard Kurtz weighs in on the hypocrisy exhibited by Democrats who point fingers at Donald Trump and then turn around and mirror his behavior. Peter Fonda was sounding absolutely unhinged. He went on a profane tweetstorm against the president's policy on separating families that actually prompted the first lady to contact the Secret Service: "We should rip Barron Trump from his mother's arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles and see if mother will stand up against the giant a**hole she is married to." That sort of ugliness was just the beginning. In since-deleted tweets, Fonda said maybe "lying gash" Sarah Sanders should have her children taken away and be deported to Arkansas. And he called Kristjen Nielsen "a lying gash that should be put in a cage and poked at by passerby. The gash should be pilloried in Lafayette Square naked and whipped by passerby while being filmed for posterity." I mean, these violent fantasies are pure sickness. Only later did Fonda come to his senses and apologize for the "highly inappropriate and vulgar" comments. Sony Pictures called his remarks "abhorrent, reckless and dangerous"—but isn't pulling his new film. That helped unleash a new round in the long-running debate over the vitriolic tone that President Trump and his critics often take in this hyperpartisan atmosphere. What I'm seeing is that the right frequently pounces on Trump's detractors and the left constantly savages Trump himself. It becomes a game of whataboutism where partisans justify the rough language on their side by pointing to some allegedly more nefarious language by those on the other side. The president is a street fighter, no question about it. But I think too many of those who can't stand him, especially in the media, fall into the trap of using even worse language against him. The result is a battle that increasingly takes place in the gutter. And it makes Trump haters look hypocritical when they use the very tactics for which they denounce him. The New York Times calls this "the politics of rage": "Mr. Trump's coarse discourse increasingly seems to inspire opponents to respond with vituperative words of their own. Whether it be Robert De Niro's four-letter condemnation at the Tony Awards or a congressional intern who shouted the same word at Mr. Trump when he visited the Capitol this week, the president has generated so much anger among his foes that some are crossing boundaries that he himself shattered long ago." The paper reminds us that Trump has branded journalists, lawmakers and opponents "wacky," "crazy," "goofy," "mentally deranged," "psycho," "sleazy" and "corrupt." And there are many more, including that the media are the country’s “biggest enemy.” But for all the emotional and heartfelt criticism of Trump's now-rescinded policy on family separation, those who throw around Nazi analogies or liken the detention facilities to concentration camps are going way too far. I do think there's often a double standard in the way each side's excesses are covered. Every presidential insult and verbal punch draws heavy media attention and automatic criticism; fair enough. But when DeNiro drops the F-bomb or Samantha Bee uses the C-word or Trump is called everything from a thug to mentally ill, the reaction is many quarters is hey, didja see what so-and-so said? And Hollywood liberals often applaud. Both sides are too entrenched, and too invested in such attacks, to expect a return to civility. But the media have a special responsibility to hold everyone accountable for incendiary conduct. Pics of Oregon ICE center at the link. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/06/gop-congressman-warns-nation-headed-to-civil-war/ GOP Congressman Warns Nation Headed to Civil War by Kristinn Taylor June 24, 2018 335 Comments Rep. Steve King posted a warning on Twitter Sunday evening that the U.S. is heading toward a second civil war, comparing the present day actions of the anti-Trump resistance to the run-up to the Civil War. King, an eight-term Congressman from Iowa, keyed off a PJ Media article about leftist protesters shutting down a Portland, Oregon ICE office and taking down the U.S. flag, replacing with an “Refugees Welcome” flag. “America is heading in the direction of another Harpers Ferry. After that comes Ft. Sumter.” Harper’s Ferry is a reference to the 1859 raid led by abolitionist John Brown on a federal armory at Harper’s Ferry, Virginia (now West Virginia), in a failed effort to instigate a slave rebellion. Fort Sumter, South Carolina was the location where the first shots of the Civil War took place in 1861 soon after President Lincoln was sworn in. King’s warning comes as Democrats and liberal activists are breaking down the norms of civil political society to stalk and harass Trump administration officials, Republicans and Department of Homeland Security employees in public and at their homes. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) commanded such harassment to spread in an interview on MSNBC. Photos of the Portland protest were posted to Twitter. Last year a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders opened fire on Republican Congressmen at a baseball practice at a field in Alexandria, Virginia, wounding Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and several others. During the 2016 presidential campaign Trump supporters were attacked many times outside Trump rallies. Candidate Trump himself was the target of a failed assassination attempt by a man who tried to grab a gun from a law enforcement officer at a rally to use to shoot Trump. At another rally a protester tried to climb on stage while Trump was speaking.
Thought this interesting... No idea if it is confirmed. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/jun/24/ben-cline-sorry-sarah-huckabee-sanders-meryl-stree/ A Virginia state delegate for the town where Sarah Huckabee Sanders was refused service Friday night criticized the restaurant owner with the ultimate Trump-country insult — she has ties to Hollywood. Del. Ben Cline, a Republican who also is running for the U.S. House this November, dropped the “Meryl bomb” Saturday in a tweet apologizing to Mrs. Sanders, the chief White House spokeswoman. “On behalf of my hometown of Lexington, I want to apologize for the rudeness of one liberal New York transplant (who also happens to be Meryl Streep’s cousin),” he wrote of restaurateur Stephanie Wilkinson, who since Friday night has doubled down and said she would kick Mrs. Sanders out again. “We hope you will come back and enjoy our area’s true southern hospitality,” he concluded. Ms. Streep’s cousin.
I'd say that's an understatement Carol but you know what they say about receiving flak when you are over the target. The immigrant angst by the left is pretty interesting as well when you consider that the vast majority of that is handled by private contractors and corporations collecting a lot of money to handle these people. So, President Trump suggests housing them in a Navy base in CA with a capacity around 50k in tent cities. This would cut out the middle man completely and I suspect the illegals would be sent home with little fan fare as well given they likely would be shuttled home on government planes. No need for judges... Imagine the amount of money these contractors will miss out on housing all these people. Might help explain some of the angst we are seeing IMO. I certainly don't buy the humanitarian line they are trying to sell that's for sure.
