I think a good definition of Prophecy, rather than prediction of a future event to be an entering into the mind of God.

 

The way Fatima judges Verne is not the way the Church judges. The Church has gone beyond Gamaliel w/r/t its method of dealing with self proclaimed prophets. Fr. Chad Ripperger (spell?) has videos on discernment, he is an exorcist and part of a new order of exorcists. Also, just this week, Fr. Mitch Pacwa on EWTN talked about discerning "messages." The Church must protect people from false teachings, especially those who say they are carrying messages directly from God. The EWTN video is online, it is at,



Before anyone continues to argue for these messages, they should watch this video. The talk about discernment starts around 7 minutes in.

* you missed the whole boat on the glorified bodies, and even absurdly asserted that Adam and Eve had them. The point is that they are immortal and unable to feel pain. The fact that the Church will receuve them before Satan's last attack is absurd and goes even against reason besides church teaching and traditon.

 

There is a lot of ignorance about the kind of existence there will be at the time of peace, or the time where the Our Father is fulfilled......when "The Will (is) being done on earth AS it is in heaven". That time, is explained by the expert eschatologist theologians who have written on this subject, and they are few, and what is taught about this to the little one instructed by God to reveal to us this "type" of human being, at that time who will be living in the Divine Will, Luisa Piccarreta. Remember that the prayer to the Holy Spirit spells out this enormous difference between man himself and his existence in this world that is currently experienced by the human defects accompanying all of us, as well as the influence of the evil one (fallen angels) ever since the fall of Adam. This new period gives back to the Father what He has always intended, in His Divine Will, for His creation, man, but only after the great time of testing. The Holy Spirit is to "send forth His Spirit and we shall be RECREATED and Thou shalt RENEW THE FACE OF THE EARTH". If people try to envision this type of world which is described as even better than that of Adam before the fall, and do so within the confines of only what they know of historical man since the fall, they are waaaay off the mark and are better off listening to those in a better position, within the realm of the expertise of great study. There will be the gifts that Adam experienced....like bi-location, etc.

Divine Will to reign on Earth
The late Pope John Paul II in May 1997 spoke of a “New and Divine Holiness” for the Third Millennium of Christianity, which will bring the Church her greatest glory! This new era will be none other than the Reign of the Divine Will and will be the fulfillment of Christ's Prayer that God's Divine Will reign on Earth as it does in Heaven.

Fuse one's will with Divine Will
God intended man to live so closely united with Him that he would fuse his will with that of God's Divine Will in all his acts. The soul recognizes its utter nothingness, such that it feels incapable of acting alone. It wishes to act only in union with its Beloved.

Summon Divine Will to enter act
One can invite God to act with us and in us by the simple formula: Come, Divine Will, to think in my mind, Come, Divine Will, to breathe in my breathing, etc. Come, Divine Will, in my eating; come, Divine Will, in my driving; come, Divine Will, in my sleeping. One calls down God's Divine Will as the main actor within us regardless of how little the act one is engaged in. Summon the Divine Will to enter into every act one does, and that act becomes divine. Jesus' acts in His Divine Will remain suspended within His Divine Will awaiting one's corresponding acts in His Divine Will and they immediately fuse with one's act to make it perfect. A few minutes of acting within His Divine Will are worth centuries of acts done with one's human will.


......They (Adam and Eve) possessed the very fullness of Divine Life, namely, the Divine Will itself, Fountain of all Grace and the Cause of all that exists. Adam and Eve possessed the Kingdom of Our Father within themselves. Their every movement enraptured their God, because all their activity was generated by the Divine Will which reigned in them and animated all that they did. Their human wills, absorbed in the Divine Will, continuously assented to this perfect freedom—the freedom of God, Who operated freely in them because they wanted and allowed Him do so. And God received all that He desired from His creatures.

The Sanctity of God Himself
In the Wisdom of the Father, before which all men must bow their heads in all humility, it was decreed that the Lost Kindom of the Divine Will, regained by Jesus while He was upon the earth, should not be returned to men right away—but must await the appointed hour of God. Like a tree, the Church established by Jesus would have to grow a trunk, put forth branches, foliages, and blossoms. Then — behold! The Fruit bearing within it the seeds of life would be given! And this Fruit is none other than the Sons and Daughters of the Divine Will in whom God would realize His Ideal in creating man.

The Sanctity He would give these Sons and Daughters of the Divine Will would be His own Sanctity. The Sanctity would shine as the sun in comparison to which all the other sanctities would appear as far-away stars. These most fortunate Sons and Daughters of the Divine Will would imitate in a most real manner the hidden, interior, Divine Life of Jesus! Almost unknown in the world, these souls will live in the ambience of Eternity, even while on earth; they will work with God, in God, in all that He does. They will give to their Triune Creator Divine Love, and they will enrapture Him and all of Heaven and make possible the fulfillment of hidden decrees of God.

A renewed Church
In this new era a resurrected Church, renewed and resplendent and fully universal, will fulfill the original Ideal of our Creator. And God will receive His greatest glory from men. The Great War of the human will against the Divine Will will come to a stop. It seems that this final period in which the Will of God is done on earth as in Heaven will be shorter than the first three periods and may be called half-a-time. In the language of Sacred Scripture these periods might be summed up as “A time, times, and half-a-time.”

Creation is identified with the Father. Redemption is identified with the Son. And finally, Sanctification is identified with the Holy Spirit.

Sanctification: goal of Creation
Let it be clearly understood that this work of Sanctification is not to produce mere human sanctity in the souls of men by which they are empowered by Grace to carry out good works more or less pleasing to God. No! This work of Sanctification will be the fulfillment of the Purpose of Creation. Men will be gifted with a Divine Sanctity, the very fullness of Divine Life as originally possessed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Overlooking everything, with unsurpassable forgiveness and generosity, the Good God will give as Gift His own Divine Will once again to men.

The great saints that we know of now gave a preview of such gifts, at least partially, within their own lives....Padre Pio for an example....or Joseph of Cupertino and others. This was due to the surrender to God's Spirit by such so that God could enter into the finite qualities of this world and show what is still intended for His creation. So when any "prophet" of the day does mention some kind of "new" man, prior to the very end of the world that will give that glorified body for all eternity, one can explore this existence to come as yet, in this world, fulfilled, as man returns to what the Father always intended. The entire earth is to be renewed for this blessed time to come. It's more of an error to listen to those who actually believe that such a world would only be something like the faithful remnant pulling themselves up by their own boot straps, during or after the tribulation. No, nothing as big as what is promised, via within the very life of Jesus, can ever be accomplished by defective humanity.....it must have the "interference" by the Holy Spirit for such "renewal and re-creation" of everything. God entered into the norm of creation in order to have His own Mother created in order for His Son to come into this world....and that, in human terms of understanding, cannot really be fully understood.

Hour of God for Kingdom to come
So, from this we see the immense importance of Jesus' Great Prayer to the Father: "...Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done on earth AS it is in Heaven!" Whatever Jesus asks of His Father is a fact accomplished. Only the passing of time must await the Hour of God. So, Jesus' prayer is a most certain prophecy and nothing can impede it. At the Last Supper, Beloved Jesus vents His Sacred Heart's desire again. He prays to the Father: "That they all may be one, as Thou, Father, in Me, and I in Thee; that they also may be one in Us"—the very manner in which He had created our first parents, Adam and Eve!

I said before, Divine Will is not accepted by the Church and is only being studied. It is supposed to be studied using authentic translations released by the bishop in Italy. You can't say Divine Will proves anything about Catholic teaching, since Luisa has been approved personally, but not her writings! Also, to claim there is nothing against GSWYL before the Church has studied it is wrong. Saying "holy people" have read it and don't have a problem means nothing because they don't have the authority to discern. The devil is smarter than we are. Avoid messages from witches until you know they are sanctified by the Church.

 

The Church holds the writings of Luisa Picarretta in high esteem as the experts in such theology have officially (at the Vatican) approved of one of their own's translations and interpretations. Her entire cause has moved from the Diocesan level to the Vatican. In that sense it is already far ahead, as far as Church attention, of others that persons feel free to visit and read messages pertaining to without any repercussions....and the Church Herself gives no objections for such and rather seems to even be encouraging, in some cases, before any final announced approval and while messages continue and prophecies wait still to be fulfilled. And THAT is the way private revelations develop within the Church's own history of such. There isn't any rigid formula for such and freedoms to follow such developments continue....unless there is a pronounced condemnation, with reasons given for such. In most all cases of private revelations, it's the local approval that passes for Church approval unless there is a more all encompassing message to be learned....even by Church experts. That DOES NOT mean the Church discourages the following of such important ones, decided by the Church, by the faithful. In fact, if one wishes to follow some untrue rigid procedure for private revelations, one would have to suffer whiplash when it comes to those, one time approved locally (ergo, Church approval) only to be followed later by a type of disapproval by a later local Bishop that once again may cause some type of cloud of doubt (and confusion) over what once was fully accepted by the faithful. And with the state of the Church today, with its own confusion from within and at the top, the action of the Holy Spirit within the faithful themselves is becoming far more necessary. With private revelations, the term "sanctified by the Church" isn't a norm to be used since the Church herself would warn that much within limited human existence will always be open for various interpretations and could still involve more discovery at any time. In fact, look at the confusion caused by the various, non-transparent approaches used through the long history of Fatima. There is ongoing debate that hasn't solved a lot of questions, even while sanctioned by the Church. The faithful don't need "authority" to discern. There may be guidance offered.....unless something is declared evil within its very core.

 

Why not pray to Our Blessed Mother for discernment yourself. She will not deceive you! And then perhaps you can comment more effectively knowing that in fact, God does speak to His prophets - even in our days, and there are many of them. The false ones are very easy to discern.

 

I don’t know if you have read Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi’s disortation on the writing of Luisa Piccarreta and the Divine Will that has been approved by the Pontifical University of Rome, but if you haven’t then perhaps you should.

I don't suspect it will change any minds in the posters of the thread, but I post it here for those who may stumble across it.

Regardless, using an unapproved message to grant validity to another unapproved message is puzzling.

 

There have been groups of writings of Luisa's that have been approved for reading by and distributing to the public. I believe that Fr. Iannuzzi's own translations have the approval of those in the hierarchy who examined his treatise on the subject....within his tome. They simply await the ability to publicly release the whole thing. So the info about Luisa and her writings moves on, with permission to the extent that the approved persons who are knowledgeable of the whole thing can find an audience!

 

Since the messages in GSWYL cannot be found to be contrary to scripture or church teaching by the naysayers, I will just continue to pray for them that God will help them see, as he did myself and others who have found these messages from heaven to be of great value. Just as Garabandal, Medjugorje and other apparitions and many other messengers of our time have yet to be 'approved' by the Church, neither were Fatima, Lourdes, Akita and all others, while most of them also drew great scorn from those who could not discern at the time (including the clergy) until they received church approval, most of the time after a great miracle from God. I don't need a miracle, because I believe them to be God's messages for our time, as they fit well within the Catholic prophetic consensus for our times.

It is not surprising to me that those who do not like Verne's messages, or Luisa's writings or any others that have not received Vatican approval is largely because they don't accept the Era of Peace, living in the Divine Will, the Warning, the near future reign of the Antichrist and False Prophet or any of the other revelations that have come through God's messengers in the past 100 years or so. It reminds me of how the messages of Sister Faustina's Divine Mercy were belittled for so long, before Pope John Paul brought them to full acceptance of the Church.

 

Yes, and the Church has been very neglectful about this most important goal of Christ's own mission to be taught fully at a later time, the Divine Will. But then we don't seem to have the brightest bulbs in the teaching function within the hierarchy these days with the obvious aversion for the mystical. Then again, with the emphasis now for decades on "social justice"/a new way to look at Marxism, etc., and de-emphasis on prayer life in the seminaries and schools in general it's understandable but extremely sad.

 

Strange thing now that is prophecy. If it were a liquid it would perhaps be my second favourite. Trying to find the mind of some god on some forum or other. Strange yet again also as I notice as I come on some forum to post. I have been banned many times of course on different fora as some seem to not like my comment. I had a mail to Padraig actually a long time ago as to the subject of how many people on here seem to hide........Must be a button we press when we are afraid I assume.

Where will we all hide when it hits the fan I wonder ? Jesus I trust in you. Safe in The Immaculate Heart and some such..............Mere words I have to think as we hide from others. Think it, say it and believe.

 

This is all part of the diabolical disorientation that our Lady of Fatima spoke of. Few will hear and understand what God is doing in these times, for one reason or another. But, it is not because heaven has not been speaking. They have and upon deaf ears. The Lord's prayer will be fulfilled. His kingdom on earth in his Eucharistic reign, will come and his will shall be done as it is in heaven very soon now. The fact that so few understand this is why our Lord said, "But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth"? Luke 18:8.

 

Of course the enemy wants to stop Luisa’s writings and try to discredit them because it is living in Gods Will that will put him back where he belongs. I just don’t understand those who criticize her writings - after all, who would not want to live in the Will of God? The writings merely give us the way. I thank God every day for the Gift He so desires to give us so that His Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

You asked me to prepare you for the warning, so here is an answer to your prayer.First, ponder on my holiness (Habacuc 1:13) Thy eyes are too pure to behold evil, and thou canst not look on iniquity (I Peter 1:6). Because it is written: You shall be holy, for I am holy (Apocalypse 21:27). There shall not enter into it any thing defiled or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie: but they that are written in the book of life of the lamb.Who am I? I am holy, sin is an abomination in my sight. Read, Isaias’s vision of the Lord. Isaias 6:3 Holy, Holy, Holy, the Lord God of hosts, all the earth is full of his glory. Verse 5 And I said: Woe is me, because I have held my peace; I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people that hath unclean lips, and I have seen with my eyes the King the Lord of hosts. Vs. 7 And he touched my mouth, and said: Behold this hath touched thy lips, and thy iniquities shall be taken away, and thy sin shall be cleansed. Vs. 8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Whom shall I send, and who shall go for us? And I said: Lo, here am I. Send me.

This will be your warning experience if you remain in sanctifying grace. You will see all those areas of your life that are holding you back from serving me 100%. Remember Isaias was my servant before this experience. He needed this experience to rid himself of all his sins, so he could complete his mission for me. In my sight, remember if you do all I command, you are still unprofitable servants (Luke 17:10). How many of you do all I command? After this experience, Isaias was fearlessly able to fulfill his mission for me and as tradition says he was sawed in half.

After this warning experience, my remnant will be like Isaias filled with the Holy Spirit and will go out to evangelize the world with no fear of man or evil.You will have seen your King the Lord of hosts. This is why I want you to prepare yourself with confession, penance and communion so you can be ready to participate in THE GREAT HARVEST OF SOULS. PRAY YE THEREFORE THE LORD OF THE HARVEST, TO SEND FORTH LABORERS INTO HIS HARVEST. All those in sanctifying grace are my laborers and after the warning each more so. It will be a glorious time for the Kingdom of God. Many souls will be delivered from the bondage of Satan because of my mercy and your willingness to be my servants. Do not dwell on the darkness so much. Satan wants to put fear in my church. He wants you to fear persecution, the Antichrist, and the one world order. This warning will destroy much of his power and take souls from his kingdom. His power over much of mankind will be broken. My Holy Spirit will inflame and fill the hearts and souls of my faithful like my disciples on the day of Pentecost. I will renew my church for I am its founder and head.Praise the Lord for this day of warning. Pray for those souls who are in the darkness of sin and especially the lukewarm that they will respond to my mercy during the warning.Pray divine mercy chaplets with this intention now. Those who reject my mercy will face the wrath of God. Be not afraid my faithful. I am not the author of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Be filled with the Spirit and prepare for the GREAT HARVEST OF THE LORD. Peace be with you.

Fr Ripperger and his colleagues condemn Medugorje as totally false also it has, at least in its early days the implicit approval of the Church. In addition they totally condemn the Charismatic Movement which, once again has the implicit approval of the Church.

Fr Ripperger is very good but he is not coming down from Mt Sinai with the tablets.
