I was thinking and praying about the USA Civil Rights activist, Rachel Dolezel the last few days. Rachel had posed for many years as an African American but was outed by her white parents as Caucasian. Well you may thing to yourself what on Earth has this to with Christ or Spirituality? But often I find really weird , wacko and zany things are really good grist to the mill of prayerful meditation . A for instance the films of Quentin Torentino don't seem very spiritual but I often prayed over them they were so far out. Or to put it another way, they make me think. View attachment 3064
A civil rights activist who was "outed" as white by her parents. I have to confess this made me laugh out loud (my sense of humour). We live in a very strange world of make-believe.
I notice Bobby her parents said she needs therapy. This never crossed my mind. It is a kind and loving way to think. Like you I was thinking of the nature of , 'Reality' . The nature of reality. What is reality? It is to relate to God, just as Wisdom is to relate to God. Satan on the other hand is the Father of Lies the opposite of reality. TO base our life on a lie is to enter his kingdom. I suppose nearly all of us base our lives to some extent on a lie , big or small. I notice this in the Torrantino films, how zany and far removed fro reality the characters are...perhaps because they are living a lie.. Most of his characters are so far removed from reality that they are totally evil
I confess also, I chuckled at this news and ROFL when a black women defended her as being black....she stated you don't have to be black to be black... As the World turns upside down....come soon Lord Jesus!!!
is it any wonder we are all feeling so weird and off? Left is right and up is down.....nothing makes sense any more....the evil one is in its final throws
