If you look at the most liberal aspects of today's society you can see what the devil is preparing for the rest of us when we "catch up" to where they are. In this case a lesbian "bishop" who is intent on not only destroying her church but in replacing it with Islam. All in the name of mercy and compassion. This is what the devil would love to see in The One True Church. He will never succeed in totally wiping out true belief, but we know from prophecy that he will come so close that many of the elect will despair that the devil has won. For a time it will appear as though he has.
She probably wants to attract Muslims because there aren't enough Christians left in her "church" to keep her (and presumably her partner) in the style to which they have become accustomed. It will be interesting to see how long these will tolerate firstly a woman in authority and secondly one who also happens to be a lesbian. One suspects an early chastisement.
