My father , William has been placed in a hospital in Connecticut with symptoms of tightness in chest and swollen feet. the hospital conducted all the scans and also found that he had a 7 cm mass in his chest which leads itself to being cancerous. My dad is 86 years old and has been healthy most of his life until now. I fear this may be his time. I don't want to give him up but I ask for your prayers that if this is his time, he may be taken with minimal pain and straight into the arms of Mother Mary and Her Son Jesus. I have to say that I am very glad that I did travel to see him on his birthday this summer. The family and I enjoyed the time together with dad very much. Thank you.

Hi all! I can't thank you all enough. Although it doesn't change the fact of where we are at, my dad is in high spirits and accepts the situation. I think better than how I would be taking it. He doesn't feel great by any means and the mass hasn't gone away but he seem happy when Barb and I talked with him this morning. The hospital administered meds to reduce swelling and is eating well. Monday I suspect they will do a biopsy and we will know more and how he will approach treatment. Tonight we will go to church and praise the Holy Trinity, and Our Holy Advocate, Mary for all their help. We will also lay all the intentions of the MOG forum at the foot of Jesus.
