The new Earth and new Heaven are mentioned in the OT and (several places in the) New Testament.

St. Peter says this:

You must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.”

But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

Several prophecies , including Akita speak of , 'Fire from Heaven'. But they also emphasis that this fire will come directly from Heaven, from God, this rather than fire from Nuclear Missiles.

The author though does mention in quite a lot of detail the destruction of Paris by limited Russian nuclear strike (Marie Julie Jahenny.)

The Author mentions something I have never ever heard of before, Five Prophecies (Secrets) given to Saint Bernadette at Lourdes. These Secrets were supposed to have been passed on to Pope Leo in the Vatican and gotten buried and lost until found in a steel box by a priest called Father Antoine LaGrande.

Four of the Secrets have come to pass; but the 5th has yet to come to pass.

I have severe doubts about all this but I will try to dig up these secrets online, especially No 5

Five Newly Discovered Prophecies of
Our Lady of Lourdes to Saint Bernadette
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, Interesting if true.

Excerpts of a newspaper article written by Vincenzo Sardi from the
Weekly World News

VATICAN CITY - A researcher has discovered a letter written by St. Bernadette
- and it contains startling prophecies revealed to the famed French saint at
Lourdes by the Virgin Mary herself! Incredibly, four prophecies of Our Lady
of Lourdes have already come true - and the fifth and final prophecy of
Lourdes is due to be fulfilled in the year 2000.

"St. Bernadette's letter was sent to the Pope 120 years ago - but it became
misplaced and was missing until last December when I stumbled across it at
the Vatican library," said Father Antoine LaGrande, a French cleric who was
researching a book on the miracles of Lourdes. "This remarkable document
tells us in very precise terms what awaits mankind when the new millennium
arrives."

Bernadette eventually entered a convent where, ironically, she succumbed to
an incurable illness. Shortly before her death in 1879, she wrote a letter to
the Pope, in which she detailed five prophecies that had been revealed to her
by the Virgin Mary. The contents were never made public, and when inquiries
were made around the turn of the century, red-faced Vatican officials
admitted that the letter written by the nun - who was canonized after her
death - had simply been lost.

Father LaGrande said he uncovered the long lost letter in an iron box in a
basement storage room for the Vatican library. On each of its five pages was
a prophecy relating to a specific time period.

Four of these prophecies have come to pass, just as St. Bernadette predicted.
The fifth, which relates to the year 2000 has yet to occur.

"The FIRST prophecy of Lourdes dealt basically with what would happen to the
shrine in the years soon after St. Bernadette's death, explaining how it
would become a renowned center for healing," he said. "This is certainly
true."

"The SECOND Prophecy described an array of varied scientific achievements
involving `the harnessing of lightning' that were to take place before 1906.
This came true with the invention of the light bulb, the phonograph and other
inventions using electricity," said Fr. LaGrande.

The THIRD Prophecy stated that in the 1930's a terrible evil would awaken in
Germany, and painted a horrifying picture of a war that would envelop most of
the nations of the world. "This came to pass with the rise of Adolf Hitler
and the advent of World War II" , said Fr. LaGrande.

The FOURTH Prophecy told in detail of an effort that would be made by mankind
to reach the heavens and predicted that close to 1970 an American would walk
on the moon. "This prophecy was fulfilled when the astronaut Neil Armstrong
landed on the moon in 1969" , said Fr. LaGrande.

The FIFTH Prophecy is the most extensive of all. Below, excerpted from the
letter of St. Bernadette and translated from the original French, is the
Fifth Prophecy of Lourdes.

"Your Holiness, the Virgin has told me that when the 20th century passes
away, with it will pass away the Age of Science. A new age of Faith will dawn
around the world.

"Proof will come at last that it was Our Lord Who created the world and Man,
and this will be the beginning of the end for the scientists, in whom the
people will cease to believe.

"Millions will return to Christ, and as the numbers of believers swell, the
power of the Church will grow as never before.

"Also causing many to turn their backs on science will be the arrogance of
physicians who use their knowledge to create an abomination.

"These doctors will find the means to combine the essence of a man and the
essence of a beast and create a newborn creature that is neither fully man
nor fully beast. The people will know in their hearts that this is wrong, but
they will be powerless to stop the spawning of such monsters.

"In the end they will hunt scientists down as ravening wolves are hunted.

"On the eve of the year 2000, a final clash between the followers of Mohammed
and the Christian nations of the world will take place.

"A furious battle will be waged in which 5,654,831 soldiers are killed and a
bomb of great power will fall on a city in Persia (modern-day Iran).

"But in the fullness of time, the sign of the cross will prevail and all of
Islam will be forced to convert to Christianity. There will follow a century
of peace and joy as all the nations of the Earth lay down their swords and
shields.

"Great prosperity will follow as the Lord showers His blessings down upon the
faithful. No family on Earth will know poverty or hunger.

"One person in 10 will be granted by God the power to heal and they will cast
out all sicknesses from those who seek their aid. Many will rejoice at these
miracles. The 21st century will come to be known as the Second Golden Age of
Mankind."

I don't really think any of this is true, but anyway, there it is, for what it's worth.

More commonly, historically, they seem to talk of, 'Three Secrets' (not five) given by St Bernadette to Pope Leo.

But this too seems to have been a hoax.

Late 20th-Century HOAX / FORGERY


During the famous approved apparitions of Our Lady as the Immaculate Conception to St. Bernadette at Lourdes, France in 1858, the Mother of God imparted three secrets to St. Bernadette, which St. Bernadette never revealed. Furthermore, she declared they were all of a private matter and had nothing to do with the world, or with France, or with the Church. (1)


However, a journalist by the name of Mittelberg made mention of a 'prophetic letter' allegedly sent by St. Bernadette to Pope Leo XIII in 1879 a newsletter called “Der Schwarze Briel” dated November 4, 1998. Since then, this journalist's claim along with copies of the supposed prophecies has gone viral on the Internet.

The five page letter was supposed to have been discovered by a Frenchman, Antoine La Grande, in 1998 in a metal cupboard in an underground archive at the Vatican.

The letter is an obvious 20th-century forgery.

According to this letter which was supposed to have been written in 1879, there are prophecies concerning the spread of electricity, the invention of the gramophone, the electric light bulb, and the telegraph, which happened all before the date of 1879, and therefore are details outside the scope of prophecy.

The telegraph was first patented by Morse in 1837 quite a number of years before the apparitions of Lourdes (!) and was used in the first half of the nineteenth century. The gramophone was already in use in 1870. The electric light bulb was invented in 1875. Paris became the City of Light in 1876 when it introduced public street lighting using electric arc lights. Therefore, this shows this '1879 letter' it to be a forgery. Obviously, a forger knew people would not be mindful about dates and wanted to sound authentic enough mentioning all these inventions with the purpose of fooling people into thinking the rest of the letter was real and further their own aims.

In fact, there is a troubling 'prophecy' in the letter saying eventually people will turn on the liberal scientists of the world around the year 2,000 after they breed human-animal hybrid chimeras. The people will kill all those scientists, and turn away from science altogether in the Age of Peace.

This shows it to be fake as it goes against a past Great Monarch prophecy that says science will finally be put to good use when the Great Monarch reigns. Not to mention the fact that the Church promotes knowledge and science when they are used for good purposes. So this false prophecy is in fact dangerous. Note, a warning against producing animal human hybrids is not the troubling element of this fake propehcy, that should indeed be condemned and stopped. The dangerous element is this hoax revelation promotes an extreme right wing agenda of violence where the ends justify the means, and, in the process descredits Catholics in general - that Catholics are anti-science and will turn to bloody acts of mob vengenace to get rid of scientists.

This forgery was obviously concocted in our own times and in no way can it be dated to 1879.

Everything written by St. Bernadette is preserved in the archive at Nevers, and there is no trace of such a letter at Nevers. After the year 1878 Bernadette wrote only three letters, all of which are documented. No-one has ever mentioned a letter to Pope Leo XIII. The letter that St. Bernadette wrote to Pope Pius IX, dated 17 December 1876, was suggested by the bishop of Nevers to please the pontiff. The style of this letter is entirely conventional and contains nothing prophetic. A prediction of the 1870 Franco-Prussian war was once attributed to Bernadette but was immediately refuted by all historians.

This letter is obviously a hoax and is not included in the Timeline.

Read this book by Reyes-Arryal, while on holidays. It is terrifying, because so many of the prophecies are very consistent with one another and seem to very closely describe the world we are now living in. The role of Russia seems crucial. After the fall of the Soviet Union, these prophecies might have briefly lost momentum, with most assuming that Russia was now out of the picture. Well, we now observe Russia attacking from the East. France seems a long way away for Russia, but events are occurring in such an unexpected way. Will China collapse? Would this lead in turn to the collapse of the US economy? Would this end NATO? I also read a brief, but interesting booklet by a Sir John Glubb, "On the Fate of Empires". Glubb examined many empires of Europe and the Middle East over the last 3,000 years. Without exception, they all collapsed within about 250 years of their foundation (including Rome, which he has divided into two, the Republic and the actual Empire as it was from Augustus). Interestingly, he describes the causes as moral decline, a type of creeping snowflakiness. If we take the US as an empire, its 250 years (since 1776) are nearly up. It's certainly showing all the signs of moral decline. Glubb is no prophet, nor does he claim to be, but his honest, broad, rational interpretation of global history shows some interesting patterns.

Returning to Reyes-Arryal's book, it struck me while reading of Pope Leo XIII's vision that Our Lord does not gamble or play games with our souls. He desires our salvation. When the devil requested a period of control and He gave him a century, it occurred to me that Our Lord let the devil 'walk into it' and that He permitted this because, terrible and terrifying as it all is, it is the sequence of events that presents the ultimately greatest available harvest of souls, not for Hell but for Heaven. It seems to me this is the only reason Christ would or could agree to this.

Additionally, I think we might as well cease speculation about the Third Secret of Fatima-I agree with Pope Emeritus Benedict that Our Lady intervened in Akita and that this vision is the Third Secret. Unfortunately, most of the Church continues to bury its collective head in the sand, while almost all communication outlets choose to ignore these events. It does seem plausible, because most souls are being denied such knowledge, that Christ will Himself intervene with an individual warning for all.

May the Lord God have mercy on us all.

 

Well said. The fall of empires follows a pattern. The West/USA is on a trajectory. Moral decline veering into madness is all around us. I too believe Our Lady's appearance in Akita was the essential Fatima message repeated. (I still cannot understand how Popes and the Church could have refused her warnings and her requests at Fatima--I don't get it! After a public display that 300000 people witnessed--something as public and powerful as the dividing of the Red Sea--I don't get it. ) The last message to us from the angel to Sister Agnes most certainly was a dire warning just days before the pachamama horror. What has followed since has been one dread event after another. May God have mercy in us all.

 

Truth. They do not have the eyes to see. Even miraculous events and chastisements have no impact, people just shrug and move on. Indifference is a sickness.

 

I am coming to the end of this book. It was interesting, although false and hoax are included side by side as though they were all equal. Interesting but you have to cautious in reading it as there's a lot of Fool's Gold in there.

For which reason I would not recommend it to the unwary.

Apart from Vissula Ryden and Father Michael Rodriguez, whom you earlier warned us against, I found the rest reasonably consistent, although Our Lady of Good Success, La Salette, Fatima and Akita stand out as real Gold Standard. I thought Marie-Julie Jahenny, while undoubtedly prophetic, saintly and orthodox, in need of a good editor and interpreter, simply due to her huge volume of messages. Garabandal and Medjugorge remain in a grey area for me, although the endorsement of St Padre Pio for the former is difficult to dismiss. I remember being very impressed by Fr Constant Pel.

I second Mmary's request for your opinions.

 

As De Gaulle mentioned Fr Michael Rodriquez, Visulla Ryden and also the Secrets of Lourdes are false/hoax.

I would be careful of Prophecies that are attributed to Padre Pio, people are always claiming Padre Pio made this , that or the other Prophecy, I would be very sceptical unless it is well sourced.

I would also say that a number of the French seerers are unknown to me. That does not mean they are false, just that they are an unknown quantity.

 

Quite a few of the prophecies in this book present Russia as attacking France, apparently launching a nuclear device on Paris, before being driven back. The invasion of the Ukraine by Russia earlier in the year presented a distinct possibility that these prophecies might be in the process of becoming fulfilled. However, current reports, if they are reliable, tell us that Russian forces are being driven back in the Eastern Ukraine. It seems difficult at this precise point to visualise Russia having the military capability to reach France.

What, if anything, does this mean?
The alternatives seem to be the following:

1). The prophecies are false. Considering the witnessed miracles associated with at least some of them and the orthodox expressions of moral and eschatological doctrine contained within them, this seems to me unlikely.

2) This is not yet the time. If so, it's difficult to see a humiliated Russia regrouping for quite some time.

3). Prayers are having the effect of altering events predicted in what are conditional prophecies. Perhaps, even Pope Francis' Consecration some months ago has had an effect.

Of course, while one particular prophesy might be changed in consequence of the power of prayer, the reality of unprecedented wickedness in the world remains. Akita still stands out to me as the most reliable warning. Perhaps, The Lord in His mercy will grant us all a less apocalyptic individual Warning before the events foretold to Sister Agnes come to pass.

What are people's thoughts on this matter?

 

I wondered about that myself. But, then again, how many lies are we being fed?

I came across a video during the week of Russia, India and China in joint military exercises. Putin was there viewing things through a large pair of binoculars. Who knows? There is nothing about these things whatsoever in our own Mass Media, it is like these things are not happening.

I wonder if China were to sucker punch NATO and the USA (as some prophesies suggest with a limited Nuke Strike) would that change things?

I hear things are very, very grim indeed in both China and Russia at the moment. Falling apart..what have they got to loose?

sister elena aiello said that Russia would fight with secret armies against europe; I believe that there may be several civil uprisings in Europe because of the Russian gas cut and this will provide the scenario described by Sister Elena Aiello.

 

Time will tell. But if Russia seems to be losing the Ukraine war, Putin may strike back in a more aggressive way. I can see Putin losing the battle, but not the war. The death of the Queen I feel may be the start of many changes.
