Russia to be Consecrated?

He has granted so many special indulgences, especially during the first year of Covid, the year of St. Joseph, making them so easy to obtain....such countless graces we were able to get because of him! And the doors of Mercy during the year of Mercy, to give another example... Someone who doesn't care at all for the souls of his flock, or who doesn't believe in the power of prayer, wouldn't bother with such things. I have never been a fan of his, but I see no reason to doubt his genuine desire to do this consecration. What good does it serve us or Heaven to be so cynical and doubting? We must have faith and hope!

Pope John Paul Consecrated the entire World to the Immaculate Heart. If your argument held true then Russia is already Consecrated and there is no need for Francis to do so. If by the same light how would Mary reject the Consecration of Russia because the whole World was mentioned.

Mary did not ask for the Consecration of the whole World to the Immaculate Heart.

Mary did not ask for the Joint Consecration of Russia and the Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart.

Mary asked for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart.

When the Catholic Bishops of the Ukraine asked for the Consecration of Russia they asked for simply that. The Consecration of Russia.

If Our Lady had wanted the joint Consecration of Russia and the Ukraine she would have asked for it.

    She did not.

She asked for the Consecration of Russia.

That's why I'm saying we should ask our bishops to join in. And maybe someone can start a petition to the Holy Father to ask the bishops to join in (if he hasn't or doesn't realize how important that is).

This is pedantics. Russia has never been named in the previous consecrations, and that's why they didn't fully satisfy her request. We have consecrated many other countries to her Immaculate Heart and I've never heard anyone saying, "But Mary didn't ask us to do that."

Russia has never been named. It's about to be. This is huge.

You are believing these things because you wish them to be true.

Wishing something to be true does not make it so.

    Matthew 7:18

…17Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.…

Keep in mind Russia was already consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on July 7, 1952 by Pope Pius XII, yet not as our Lady of Fatima requested to be a collegial consecration with the world's bishops. His consecration bore grace, but was incomplete to fulfill the Fatima request to be collegial.

When God the Father asked Abraham to Sacrifice his Isaac He was not being pedantic. He wanted Abraham to walk forth in Faith.

God is asking the Pope to walk forward in Faith and specifically Consecrate Russia. Not to duck the bullet and do a joint Consecration. Not to second guess God and say, 'God did not really mean that. I will not do what He said I am going to do it my way. I am cleverer than God'.

Abraham took God at His word. Abraham did not say, 'let us not be pedantic about it, God does not mean me to Sacrifice my only son, I will sacrifice a goat instead'.

No Russia is meant to be Consecrated by name and Russia alone, with all the Bishops of the World.

It is little enough to ask, but they seem totally incapable of doing so once again.

I'm disappointed that something so potentially wonderful is about to be done, but instead of immediately jumping into hopeful prayer and encouragement to our bishops and the Holy Father to do it the right way, there is doubt, discouragement and squabbling amongst faithful Catholics. Discouragement and cynicism doesn't come from God. Hope does.

Then ask them to. Pray for them to.

Also: Mary never said "Consecrate Russia and ONLY Russia." She said consecrate Russia.

You want to believe this. It makes you happier to believe it.

I will leave you to it.

I would love this to be it, but like the 2 consecrations of the Immaculate Heart by Pius XII, and the 4 done by subsequent Popes, none of them fulfill Our Lady's request, because the bishops have never been ordered to participate and do likewise! It is plain and simple. Let not our heartfelt desire cloud the facts.

In 1932, Jesus spoke to Lucia: The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, and to order that in union with him and at the same time, all the bishops of the world make the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart!

That allows room for some rebellious bishops to disobey the order, but the order must be given!

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

The timing of this, provided that it is hopefully done in unison with the bishops, is really neat for my family because my youngest was born on March 15 (the day the consecration has been announced), and baptized on March 25 (the day the consecration will take place). And his name is August, named for Mary under her title "August Queen of Heaven."

Let's ask him to order the bishops to join in! We've got 10 days!

Good idea. How does one send a request to Pope Francis? Just paste my above 1932 line (and stick it on what?), and then each of us should send it and ask our families to send it and ask them to spread the word!:unsure:(y)

I'm not sure the fastest say to contact him, but I just sent my guardian angel to him to whisper it in his ear! That might be a good start for everyone...Let's flood him with angels until he can't ignore them!

Also...for those of you who believe in Medjugorje...The visionary Vicka can bilocate and has many other spiritual gifts. I have sent my guardian angel to her a few times for desperate requests and she has always come through for me with her prayers. We could send our guardian angels to her as well, and ask her to bilocate to visit PF and explain how important it is to include the bishops. It's worth a shot!

I’ve already read quite a few comments on social media today by people I really trust to the effect that, as long as Russia is consecrated by name, it doesn’t matter if Ukraine is also named, as long as all the bishops of the world also make the consecration along with him.

I have seen this question raised numerous times already, and I’ve seen no opinions that mentioning Ukraine would make it erroneous.

No, it comes from a century of popes either screwing up prior attempts by refusing to do it right, or from them refusing to do it al all.
