Some things do not need critique, they just critique themselves. One thing I notice about Dr Sigmund Freud for instance is that he seemed to have sex for the brain. If he looked at a sausage he saw a penis and so. It was only in much later, recent years research has uncovered that he may have been molested as a child, which explains much. The same goes for Fr Rossica , he too appears to have sex on the brain. I notice you find this with so many homosexuals, everything is sex, sex, sex. Notice above him when he speaks is the Arms of the Vatican. He can say this abomination and no one objects, no one cries in anger, no rebuke from above. He claims that in giving His body He is giving it sexually. An abiomination which even the demons would , I suspect shrink from saying. With clear overtones that Christ, Himself may have been a pervert or Sacramentally approves of perversion.. So although it is an abomination ; it appears to be an abomination with which everyone in the Vatican is very, very comfortable with.
It seems the kind of thing one would say who is given over to their passions. It is the theater of the absurd truly. Jesus protect an defend us from these men and the spirit which is in them.
I wouldn't really worry so much about Fr. Rossica as such. But it is clear that he has, like Fr James Martin, become an unofficial spokesman for the Church on homosexual matters, rather like Fr Luigi Ciotti (seen below) another prominent homosexual priest, here shown holding hands with the Holy Father (below) Why is Fr Luigi so friendly with the Pope (hands holding strong hugs etc..)well clearly it is because Francis is totally onboard with their agenda) https://www.traditioninaction.org/RevolutionPhotos/A579-Ciotti.htm Francis holds hands with pro-homo priest On March 21, 2014, Pope Francis visited St. Gregory VII parish in Rome, just outside the Vatican, and held hands with Fr. Luigi Ciotti, above. The official goal of the visit was to pay homage to victims of the Mafia at a meeting that included prayers and speeches. Ciotti is the founder of Libera, an organization to combat the wrongdoings of the Mafia. However, Ciotti is also a strong promoter of homosexuality and many other "social" causes that affiliate him with Communism, as was his great friend and mentor, Fr. Andrea Gallo, who passed away 10 months earlier. Incidentally, Gallo's funeral Mass, where Ciotti gave the panegyric, allowed free manifestation for homosexuals and communists (here). Thus, Francis' affection for Ciotti has two meanings: on one hand, it serves to express his discordance with the Mafia; on the other hand, and perhaps principally, it expresses his complacence with homosexuality and his approval of ecclesiastical support for Communism, which in the last 50 years has been the most efficient way to spread the ideas of Marx and Lenin. Below first row, Fr. Ciotti participates in a "gay parade." For more on his perfect agreement with this kind of homo manifestation and his approval of "gay marriage" and the adoption of children by homosexuals, please read here and here, two news reports in Italian . In the second row, an effusive embrace between Francis and Ciotti; third row, ebullient embraces between Andrea Gallo and Luigi Ciotti. These affectionate embraces are only possible between persons who share the same mentality and thinking. In the next two rows, more expressions of unreserved solidarity.
The title of the thread makes me cringe. The blurring of lines between love and lust, normal and deviant, holy and unholy makes comments like Fr. Rossica's possible. The fact that no one rebukes him is scandalous. I'm disgusted by this line of thinking.
Archbishop Vigano said that Fr Martin was, 'Chosen'. Cardinal Dolan got his take on Pope Francis totally wrong. The Pope actually said what he meant and meant what he said. How hard is that now, given what we now know, to believe?
Well, there is a nuptial meaning to the Eucharist, as both Pope Benedict XVI and Pope John Paul II have explained. The danger is when this idea gets confused with lust. This, for example, taken from http://www.marriageuniqueforareason.org/2012/04/05/holy-thursday-the-eucharist-a-nuptial-sacrament/: "In his 2007 apostolic exhortation about the Eucharist, Sacramentum Caritatis, Pope Benedict devotes one section to explaining the connection between marriage and the Eucharist.[...] The Eucharist, a nuptial sacrament “The Eucharist, as the sacrament of charity, has a particular relationship with the love of man and woman united in marriage. A deeper understanding of this relationship is needed at the present time. Pope John Paul II frequently spoke of the nuptial character of the Eucharist and its special relationship with the sacrament of Matrimony: ‘The Eucharist is the sacrament of our redemption. It is the sacrament of the Bridegroom and of the Bride.’ [MD, 26] Moreover, ‘the entire Christian life bears the mark of the spousal love of Christ and the Church. Already Baptism, the entry into the People of God, is a nuptial mystery; it is so to speak the nuptial bath which precedes the wedding feast, the Eucharist.’ [CCC, 1617] The Eucharist inexhaustibly strengthens the indissoluble unity and love of every Christian marriage. By the power of the sacrament, the marriage bond is intrinsically linked to the eucharistic unity of Christ the Bridegroom and his Bride, the Church (cf. Eph 5:31-32). The mutual consent that husband and wife exchange in Christ, which establishes them as a community of life and love, also has a eucharistic dimension. Indeed, in the theology of Saint Paul, conjugal love is a sacramental sign of Christ’s love for his Church, a love culminating in the Cross, the expression of his ‘marriage’ with humanity and at the same time the origin and heart of the Eucharist. For this reason the Church manifests her particular spiritual closeness to all those who have built their family on the sacrament of Matrimony. The family – the domestic Church – is a primary sphere of the Church’s life, especially because of its decisive role in the Christian education of children. In this context, the Synod also called for an acknowledgment of the unique mission of women in the family and in society, a mission that needs to be defended, protected and promoted. Marriage and motherhood represent essential realities which must never be denigrated.” Pope Benedict XVI, Sacramentum Caritatis (no. 27, emphasis added)" HOWEVER. To attempt to extend this nuptial meaning to sodomy is an utter sacrilege, and this is what some prelates are clearly now attempting to do.
Yes is is confusing, 'Agape' (selfless love) with 'Eros' (sexual love). ( When I write that they are , 'confused', they are not, 'Confused at all. These are evil people trying to justify very, very evil actions and ideas indeed.) https://lonerwolf.com/different-types-of-love/
In marriage, a man and a woman become one. They offer one another to each other totally and unconditionally. This refers to all aspects of their lives, whereby they will sacrifice one another in the interests of their partner and mutually for their children if they are blessed with them. To reduce this all-encompassing commitment to mere orgasmic pleasure is utterly obscene (always remembering that such pleasure is, anyway, only licenced by God to married couples who are open to the possibility of conceiving human life). It is worse than obscene-it is blasphemous and sacriligious. One can have some sympathy for someone who wallows shamefully and reluctantly in his sin, but someone who attempts to sacramentalise sodomy is equivalent to performing a black mass. They are the heirs of those ghouls Fr. Malachi Martin warned us about.
Yes it is diabolical. I would imagine if you met some of these people it would be best to have a bottle of holy water handy.
Well said DeGaulle. True marriage is modeled on the total life giving love of the Blessed Trinity. St Paul calls it a great mystery when he refers to it but what you have just pinpointed is to me as well the equivalent of the ultimate sacrilege—a black mass. Pope Leo’s long form of the prayer to St Michael describes demonic men putting their filthy hands all over the most sacred treasure of the Church. He must have seen all this in his vision.
I wanted to treat this repulsive comment of Fr Rossica with the contempt it dissevered and not comment! However I cannot let his offensive statement slide! Statement of Fr Rossica....................... [I stress that please remember there is a sexual nature to the Eucharist, this is my body given for you and we need to root that in human sexuality and in love and it helps us to better appreciate the sacrament of the Eucharist] I am aghast at the utter hide of this co called priest, ‘Fr Rossica’, in insulting the Sacredness and Purity of God’s Sacrifice for mankind! by reducing the Source and Summit of God’s love for us in the Blessed Eucharist, to a base and vile utility! I believe his play on words are intended to confuse most in the world today ! The nature of the Blessed Eucharist is Conjugal and not sexual! Animals, prostitutes and sodomites have a sexual nature but the nature of the Blessed Eucharist is not sexual! Just as the Nature of God is not sexual. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, states that Conjugal love has three requirements (1643) Conjugal love involves 1] the appeal of body and instinct, 2] the power of feeling and affectivity 3] The aspirations of spirit and will. All of the above realise a union beyond the flesh! , a union of heart and soul! The definitive mutual self-giving of conjugal love demands indissolubility, faithfulness, and openness to children. In others words..." Conjugal love is pure! life giving! and involves the spirit! and is not a base animal instinct!"
