Muslims in Britain say their rights are being denied when it comes to borrowing as under sharia law its forbidden to charge interest on a loan.I wonder are the rights of Christians guaranteed under Saudi law?
Islamic banks have a workaround solution for that. This may be a pitch at getting all banks to use the same workaround for Muslim clients. I don't know how it works but it must be beneficial for the borrower or I suppose they wouldn't be pushing for it. Doesn't Sharia law also have rules about succession rights? I think that in some Muslim countries widows don't inherit all the property; a portion goes to the children and possibly other relatives such as the husband's parents. Do they have a workaround for that in Britain?
ALL male relatives, son, brother, nephew, cousin get a percentage then if theres anything left the widow gets
