The Pope has spoken out repeatedly on Christian martyrs of today. He has stressed that there are more persecuted Christians throughout the world now than there were in the early centuries of Christianity.

Beautiful eclipse in sight this morning in Minnesota. Clear sky and 1/2 hour away from total eclipse now.
Since the sun was just coming up, the moon with it near eclipse faded away. It was only 15 minutes away and it disapeared

It reminded me of the Sacred image below, and the explanation of the meaning of the Rays in the Image. Even the colours are arranged on the proper sides of the moon in correspondance with the Image. If the photo is fake,my apologies to ALL. I got the picture from MSN week in photos and the link is gone now .I just did a search on Julio Cortez/AP and couldn't find this photo but he has others from the same location in NJ thru the years.
Yes, I agree that it seems rather small to warrant an announcement. It's actually more the date of the "alleged" collision caught my eye. I'd be interested in knowing more from a trusted source at some point.
We have spoken here of the presentation of "The Star of Bethlehem" and the author's research. In same he demonstrated that the Wise Men found the "Star" because they were looking for it. Most never recognized it. We have been told in Scripture and by Saints of the Church to look for "Signs" and be Prepared! I'm guessing that most of humanity will not see the "Signs" because they are not looking! The most important "Signs" might "seem pretty small" in retrospect .... Eh!? Now!! Perhaps I and old-n-befuddled curmudgeon that reads/watches too much "news" and/or has been taken-in by one too many Internet Doom's Day religious fanatics ......... but! Amateur astronomer Gill Broussard has a good recent interview in three parts here on youtube which summarizes a lot of his research and links it to all the major earth changes. I like listening to him because he has based his conclusions on science, ancient astronomy records from Asia and scripture. Gill has a channel on youtube, Planet 7x, and you can download his many charts, videos etc.
