Runner’s bib message turns out to be prophetic October 22, 2019 MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The message printed on a runner’s bib during a recent Minneapolis race turned out to be prophetic. Instead of wearing his name, 25-year-old Tyler Moon opted to have “Jesus Saves” printed on his running bib for the Medtronic TC 10 Mile earlier this month. The St. Paul Pioneer Press says that when Moon reached the eighth mile his heart began beating irregularly and he collapsed. His heart was not pumping blood. Behind him in the race was a Lakeville registered nurse anesthetist, Jesus “Jesse” Bueno. He dropped down beside Moon and he and a running colleague began CPR until paramedics arrived. NEW: Judge Rules Dad of 7-Year-Old James Younger Will Have Say in ‘Gender Transition’ A judge on Thursday ruled that Jeffrey Younger will have joint conservatorship over his 7-year-old son James, which means he will have a say in medical decisions. Life Site reported: The judge presiding over the case of Jeffrey Younger, the father who is trying to protect his seven-year-old son, James, from chemical castration via a gender “transition,” ruled today that the parents will have joint conservatorship over James, which includes making joint medical decisions for the child. Judge Kim Cooks of the 255th district also put a gag order on both parents so that they cannot speak to the press about the case and decided that the father is not required to pay attorney fees. The judge’s decision means that the Save James website will have to be shut down. Jeffrey Younger vowed to keep fighting to protect his son after a jury earlier this week ruled against him in his court case to save his son James from gender “transition.” The mother of 7-year-old James wanted to start the boy on puberty blockers and eventually cross-sex hormones. Jeffrey’s ex-wife Dr. Anne Georgulas was to continue the chemical castration of their son to transition James Younger into “Luna.” Dr, Georgulas actually admitted in court that she is not the biological mother of James and his twin brother Jude. She used in-vitro fertilization with a donor egg. Texas Governor Gregg Abbott announced Wednesday night that the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services are now looking into the horrific case involving James Younger and his abusive mother who is working to castrate her son. A video of James Younger when he was only 3 years old surfaced revealing that his mother put dresses on him and painted his fingernails when the child was just an infant! The abuse from the mother all started because James liked a toy from the movie ‘Frozen’ meant for little girls. It is totally normal for little boys to play with girls toys; it does not mean they want to be castrated and ‘transition’ into a girl. This case is just so heart wrenching. My heart goes out to this poor father; and of course the little boy as well. All the prayers have definitely helped. And maybe this case received some help from Gov. Abbott too. Abbott is Catholic and I have seen him many times at Mass on Sunday. We are blessed to have him as our governor!
The Earth Rocks October 24, 2019 by sd The earth rocks. It shudders, beneath our feet. It shifts, figuratively and literally. And it causes us to recall how Sister Lucia dos Santos of Fatima said that a further “enlightenment” of her third secret concerned that angel touching the earth with a sword. What he was doing, she was shown, was not necessarily torching it (as in nuclear war, although that of course is also possible) but touching — and affecting — the earth’s axis. That, she speculated, meant some sort of future geophysical disturbance. Wrote the famed visionary in the 1940s (but revealed only recently): “The tip of the spear as a flame unlatches and touches the axis of the earth. It shudders. Mountains, cities, towns, and villages with their inhabitants are buried. The sea, the rivers, and the clouds emerge from their limits, overflowing and bringing with them in a whirlwind houses and people in numbers that are not possible to count. It is the purification of the world as it plunges into sin. Even Texas has had several temblors — as well as tornadoes (in Dallas) — in the past few days. Figuratively — politically — the earth is shifting. Listen to rumblings in Turkey. Did you know (when it was called Anatolia) it was once utterly devastated by quakes? Religiously, there are rents in the earth: Only two-thirds of America now consider themselves Christian! Facebook and Amazon and Apple, with all their cold sterility, have taken over. Culturally, anything goes and everyone goes along with it. The abortionists are poised, after years of being backed off by the current White House, of taking the offensive. Gays are forcing acceptance down Christian throats. Explosions often come from “quiet” places (quiet at least in Western media). Don't feel like starting a new thread for this, but still wanted to share. I think this is applicable to those on this board who are trying to discern the promptings of the Spirit: Now the natural person does not accept what pertains to the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness, and he cannot understand it, because it is judged spiritually. The spiritual person, however, can judge everything but is not subject to judgment by anyone. (1 Cor 2:14-15) This quote came courtesy of a daily Scripture extension I have on my browser. I think the caveat here, is that the spiritual person must work to ensure his or her will is aligned to G_D's Divine Will. The more closely your will is aligned to G_D's, the better you will be able to "judge everything".

Immediately following the January March for Life in Washington, D.C., the press erupted with claims that a video showed boys from the Kentucky religious school harassing Nathan Phillips, a Native American activist, outside the Lincoln Memorial. But additional extended video and firsthand accounts soon revealed that Phillips was the one who waded into the group waiting for its bus and decided to beat a drum inches from Sandmann’s face, while the boys had merely performed school cheers in hopes of drowning out racist taunts from members of the Black Hebrew Israelites fringe group. The Washington Post issued an editor’s note in March admitting that “subsequent reporting, a student’s statement and additional video allow for a more complete assessment of what occurred, either contradicting or failing to confirm accounts provided in that [January 18] story,” but neither retracting nor apologizing for its initial piece. Sandmann’s attorneys rejected it, and launched a $250 million defamation suit against the paper. Bertelsman dismissed the suit in July on the grounds that the Post’s initial coverage didn’t specifically mention Sandmann by name, that its language was constitutionally-protected “rhetorical hyperbole,” and that while Phillips’ version of events may have been “erroneous,” the Post reporting on his “opinion” fell within the First Amendment’s scope. Fr. Robert Morey, pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in the Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina, denied Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden Holy Communion at Sunday Mass for his support of legal abortion, the Florence Morning News reported Monday. "Sadly, this past Sunday, I had to refuse Holy Communion to former Vice President Joe Biden,” Morey said in a statement he sent CNA Oct 28. “Holy Communion signifies we are one with God, each other and the Church. Our actions should reflect that. Any public figure who advocates for abortion places himself or herself outside of Church teaching,” the priest added. According to the Florence Morning News, Morey was a lawyer for 14 years before becoming a priest, practicing law in North Carolina and working for seven years for the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. Biden, a former senator from Delaware and the former Vice President of the United States, was campaigning in South Carolina over the weekend, the Associated Press reported. Canon 915 of the Code of Canon Law states that “Those who have been excommunicated or interdicted after the imposition or declaration of the penalty and others obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to holy communion.” Then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger wrote a memorandum to the U.S. Catholic bishops in 2004, explaining the application of Canon Law 915 to the reception of Holy Communion. The memorandum stated that “the minister of Holy Communion may find himself in the situation where he must refuse to distribute Holy Communion to someone, such as in cases of a declared excommunication, a declared interdict, or an obstinate persistence in manifest grave sin.” The case of a “Catholic politician” who is “consistently campaigning and voting for permissive abortion and euthanasia laws” would constitute “formal cooperation” in grave sin that is “manifest,” the letter continued. In such cases, “his Pastor should meet with him, instructing him about the Church’s teaching, informing him that he is not to present himself for Holy Communion until he brings to an end the objective situation of sin, and warning him that he will otherwise be denied the Eucharist,” Ratzinger wrote. Then, he continued, when the individual perseveres in grave sin and still presents himself for Holy Communion, "the minister of Holy Communion must refuse to distribute it," Ratzinger wrote. “As a priest, it is my responsibility to minister to those souls entrusted to my care, and I must do so even in the most difficult situations,” Morey said. While not supporting taxpayer funding of abortion as much as other presidential candidates, Biden’s campaign platform would seek to “codify” Roe v. Wade. At a Planned Parenthood event this summer, Biden promised to “eliminate all of the changes that this President made” to family planning programs, according to POLITICO, and said he would increase funding of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. In recent months Biden reversed course on the Hyde Amendment, once supporting the policy that protects taxpayer dollars from funding abortions and now opposing it. “I will keep Mr. Biden in my prayers,” Morey's statement concluded.
