Joan, I am not well versed on Medjugorje, may I ask, why is the 40th anniversary of Our Lady's appearance there very significant?

It is significant because the number 40 is often mentioned in the bible. Lent is 40 days, Jesus spent 40 days in the desert prior to beginning His ministry, etc. For her to be bringing similar urgent messages to the same people for close to 40 years, and now we have prophesied circumstances going on around us as well. Seems a big deal, surely worth noting & watching.

I see, thank you for explaining. Yes it does seem significant. There are so many signs now that it is overwhelming. May Our Lady keep us all under her mantle.

I wonder if Hill and Bill's body count has reached 4 digits yet :coffee:

I have said before that I don't even want to know an acquaintance of these people, let alone them.

Its sinister to say the least. I had this awful thought--was he wearing a red tie around his neck? With friends like that who needs enemies.

  16. It's good to be the dictator.....esp. one running for a lifetime rule....and also when you want no competition for world power in your own power grab!

This scene shows us what is coming, folly for those not with Jesus and courage and faith for those who walk with Him.

I don't trust him either ETA, just posting the above to support the idea that he is not on the same side as Gates & company. There seem to be two factions dueling it out and someone high up there is supporting Putin or he would be dead by now.

  19. Yes, .... I think that in the end it will be the Russian people who stand up against tyranny.....as Fatima prophecies. This perhaps could come when Putin does that territorial power grab w/ that invasion of Europe (no doubt w/ some assistance from Merkel in Germany) since that will probably cost a lot for the Russian people beyond economically. Just like here it will have to be the people who stand up against the various forces of power and the true faithful will be separated from those who just call themselves members of the East or West Church since those authorities will probably back the powers of the state controllers just to survive!

U.N. Chief Guterres Calls for One Supreme Body of ‘Global Governance’

The world needs an overarching level of multilateral governance that can sideline problematic “national interests” U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres said Thursday, as he lamented existing U.N. instruments such as the Security Council have teeth but “show little or no appetite to bite.”

    ........
“We need a networked multilateralism, bringing together the U.N. system, regional organisations, international financial institutions and others. And we need an inclusive multilateralism, drawing on the indispensable contributions of civil society, business, cities, regions and, in particular, with greater weight given to the voices of youth,” Guterres said at a virtual press conference Thursday.

.......He claimed in the 21st century, governments are no longer the only political and power reality, adding “we need an effective multilateralism that can function as an instrument of global governance where it is needed.”

“The problem is that today’s multilateralism lacks scale, ambition and teeth. And some of the instruments that do have teeth, show little or no appetite to bite, as has recently been the case with the difficulties faced by the Security Council,” he said.

In response to questions as to exactly what the U.N. has achieved over three-quarters of a century, Guterres said “at least the Third World War so many people have predicted was avoided.

“We had what many called the ‘long peace’ with many small conflicts, but conflicts in which the big powers did not get involved against each other.”
