You bring up a good point. Objects themselves have no power but belief in and use of them do. If the crystal is just a crystal, then it is nothing. That would be saying having crystal glassware or anything in your house would be problematic. It's the same for us with objects like scapulars and rosaries. The objects themselves are nothing other than the materials they are made of. It is our faith and belief in such things that make them powerful. That is my thought on it anyway. Maybe I am wrong but after all crystals were formed in the same earth and creation as all other substances by God. It is evil that turned them into bad things, not the material made by God.

Objects can carry curses or blessings, from Heaven or from the demonic realm.

US raises Pride flag at embassy to the Holy See

"Today is the start of [Pride Month.] The United States respects and promotes the equality and human dignity of all people including the LGBTQIA+ community," the embassy said.

According to the moral teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, same-sex attraction itself is not a sin, and that all human beings are deserving of dignity regardless of race, creed, gender or sexual orientation.

However, sodomy and other homosexual acts are considered a "grave depravity" and the church maintains that "under no circumstances can they be approved."

"Homosexual persons are called to chastity," the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) states. "By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection."

The CCC is the universal summary and explanation of Catholic teaching. It is meant to be the final reference point for established Catholic doctrine.

"Pride Month is an opportunity to honor the history of the LGBTQI+ community and their fight for equality," U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Katherine Tai said in a White House statement Wednesday. Fifty-three years after Stonewall, we still have not fully realized a world free of violence and prejudice against LGBTQI+ people."

Wonderful. I love watching EWTN's, 'The Journey Home', because the stories of conversions are so wonderful.

Actually I suppose the majority of Catholic bloggers at the moment are converts. Often really radical converts.

I woke up the other morning full of great, great joy. The source of my joy was the indwelling Jesus. Simply that I had this living relationship with Jesus after all these years. That's all that counts really. Everything and everyone else may fail but Jesus never fails. It is our choice if we turn away from Him; but He will never ever turn away from us.

I don't mean to sound selfish but I am aware that everyone has a choice. Either to love God or not to love God. Either to choose to go to heaven or to choose to go hell. My own personal choice is God and heaven.

The World at the moment has very, very much chosen sin and hell. I find myself simply going out into the desert of silence and aloneness with Christ and leaving them to it. I do very much hope that my own choice will help save them. But I can't force them to take the good road.

I am glad of this Home of Mary to know that there are others like me who walk with Jesus; hand in hand with Mary.

One of the Greatest Signs of our Times is that the Church itself has lost her way. This is the greatest source of sadness, but, well, that's their choice too. There's not a very great deal I can do about it.

Yes more and more I find myself entering the Great Desert with Jesus and His Holy Mother Mary and I am happy enough to do so.

    Revelation 12:6

    The Woman and the Dragon
…5And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter. And her child was caught up to God and to His throne. 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place for her to be nourished for 1,260 days. 7Then a war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.…

You know, when all is said and done, if we don't save our own soul, we are not going to save anyone else's.

the war breaking out in heaven between Michael and Satan looks like a mirror of the internal struggles in the Church; between doctrinally faithful bishops and apostate bishops.

I am afraid, from what I can see the vast majority of Catholics will choose the side of Satan; including our Clergy.

    I hope I am wrong; but I don't believe I am.

I would say by this stage of the game that Catholics who have not realised that Pope Francis is very actively working for the opposition as hard as he can, are in deep, deep, deep trouble.

This is maybe the biggest Sign of the Times there is.

    The Elephant in the Room.

I can't imagine how sad it must be to think and believe ones dominant and most important self identifier is their sexual preference. Or to be gender confused and this becoming ones prime life focus. Where laws would be made to prevent people from helping confused men stay men and vise versa. Who would have thought even 5 years ago leftists could be asked "what is a woman?" and the answer makes zero sense. Who would have thought Catholic schools would raise pride flags and the pope would push left wing ideology and promote lgbtxyz bishops to cardinal status in the universal Church of Jesus Christ.

Less surprising is the WEF, WHO, international banks and globalist taking over rather quickly the power and sovereignty from most nations. It's amazing how few people see this happening or refuse to believe it is happening. I suppose with no faith in God , most have no choice but to put faith and trust in those in power. If you lost that you would loose all hope in the future. Even those that clearly have the capacity to see what is happening still refuse to acknowledge it for this very reason. Imagine believing this life is all there is. It's as sad as I can imagine and I have family believing this way. Thankfully not my own kids....young adults now.

I don't know where things are going exactly but have a feeling this spring and summer may be a final reprieve before things really change. Maybe it's another year or 2 at best. It's a sobering thought but one God has called us all to be here for. I pray I can follow God's Will through the coming challenges and stand firm in my beliefs no matter how much pressure bears down me and my family.

UGH, dreadful display.:( They've hijacked the rainbow, and now the month of June. I have to say Catholic Twitter is having none of it, I have never seen so many lovely reminders that June is the month of The Sacred Heart.

This is the flag that should be on display.
