Who paid for all of the tour busses that were used to transport thousands of people to the border, clearly the majority did not come on foot. This massive influx will certainly cause civil unrest and crime in many communities. Our own homeless situation is out of control, our economy is extremely unstable, and we continue to send billions of dollars to Ukraine. American citizens are struggling to put gas in their cars to get to work and feed their families, and the Biden administration is handing out free cell phones at the border. How can we continue to say, give me your tired and poor when our nation is grossly unprepared. You cannot provide for others when your own house is falling down around you. Sorry for the rant, but is so disturbing. I pray that Our Lord protects the innocent children who are caught up in this nightmare.
There's some irony here. My wife and I are truly horrified by what's happening here in Canada and really want to move to the USA. We're both CPA's, wouldn't be any drain on the American social safety net, would be contributing, taxpaying citizens, and heck, would even pay for private school for our four kids just to underline the point. But the roadblocks keeping us from making this happen are staggering. It'd be easier if we were indigents crossing the border on foot! I am horrified by the reports, for those "migrants" and for Americans. About this being planned, there is a video somewhere out there of Fletcher Prouty telling the story of a US experiment in the 50s in Korea. The military took millions of north Koreans out of their small villages and put them on navy ships, then dropped them off on the beaches somewhere in south Korea to watch what happened. He said the people were the type who had never left their villages, and would be totally lost outside of their towns and nation and the military did this in order to watch what happened when millions of people were displaced into a foreign nation. Maybe it helps to think of this when praying about the situation. My prayer last night: may those coming into the US with an honest desire for a better life be led by Our Lady to people who can help them, may those with evil designs be converted before it's too late, and may Our Lady give the Grace to Americans to have compassion for them in order to turn this entire situation into something good. You are right. Ireland (and probably Europe generally) are under similar attack. We are absolutely inundated with migrants who are incentivised to come here. They are currently being put up in hotels country-wide. One third of the hotels in Ireland are being used to house migrants. Let that sink in. These hotels will one day become unaffordable for the government; and they'll then move to confiscate private property so as to 'fairly and humanely' house these people. Same situation with here in my liberal state of Massachusetts. Hotels here are booting out homeless veterans who served our country to house migrants, most of whom are young men, very few families. Several months back it was reported that a large group of migrants staying in a 4 star hotel in Boston completely destroyed the rooms. I do not believe the majority of these men are coming to our countries with good intentions. I agree, the elite's evil plans are moving forward. We must beg for God's mercy.
