As someone who has an interest in earthquake and volcanic activity I found todays earthquake in new york region quite bizarre usually there are slight indicators like increased seismic activity before a quake or tiny ripples before a large quake hits but I seen nothing also you normally see small after shocks which is also not showing or I am missing something I just hope that this quake is not the first rumble before something bigger...bizare totally bizarre
Tbf I generally don't give much attention to the alphabet soup interpretation of every happenstance in the world. But...there is definitely something in the air with this eclipse and its significance given our current context. I am not a fatalist but God can use his creation to make his will known when and how he wants. trying times for us all but life continues and I think the best advice is to get up each morn and try our best to do His will in the circumstances of each day. Getting agitated or anxious about this or that event or the puzzle that is pope Francis etc etc is of no benefit. I am glad I am a no one with no extra responsibility beyond the magnitude of looking after my family and doing the best I can to live the faith each day which is tough enough for most of us. I find it I find it interesting that God is outside of time and yet the universe works on very predictable math, ie the scientists can figure out in advance when eclipses and other such things in the universe will happen. It gives me comfort knowing God already had planned and knew what was/ is going to happen from the beginning. He is in charge!

I wonder if God is giving slight Signs like Minor Earthquakes and volcanos to give those who have eyes to see time to move? It reminds me of the words of Jesus. 'Who has taught you to flee the Wrath to come?' It also gives more time for conversion. Some people are listening. I see at Westminster Cathedral in London such crowds attended the Easter Liturgy that they had to turn people away. I saw a photo of a very large crowd outside trying to peer in. Things are so dark and depressing at the moment with Satan apparently winning everywhere it is good as St Paul advised in Scripture to focus in on all that is good and positive. The priest who says Mass at the moment in the little country town I go to at the moment is preaching some really great homilies. To the point about the evil all around us,clearly a very Holy man. I find saying the rosary at the moment such a great joy and cause of hope. I can't do much to change others but I can change myself. In a world and Church is walking deeper and deeper into the dark side I find myself more and more walking towards the Light. Prayer, prayer, prayer, penance , penance . For those with prayerful eyes to see signs are not needed. We know the enemy and what is Coming. Our eyes like a faithful servant are focussed on the Hand of the Lord.
Such very, very great graces are available at the moment. Oceans of graces. We just have to open our hearts to them.
You are right. Signs everywhere. On the latest video of Dutchsinse he was telling people to get prepared as in get stocked up on food and have an emergency bag ready. He said he’s not a prepper type but urged everyone to have a plan. He sounded panicked. I never heard him talk like that before. He predicted another quake for our east coast next week. Lots of signs in the earth and sky this week and in our liturgical calendar. And wars and rumors of wars. I think these smaller quakes might get some attention. I am concerned about the mid east erupting more. I see so much corruption on tv it makes me sick. People look so freaky and possessed, we need the warning soon. This blog is so comforting to me because I don’t feel alone. It’s a little community that gets to share what’s really going on in the world…things that no one else notices or talks about. It’s like an online refuge.
