Since they say the DNC is now "open", will they automatically just accept her as the candidate because of that "endorsement"? Aside from M. Obama, H. Clinton or that California gov, who else is there really? This whole business has a kind of "grapes of wrath" feel to it........

Agree. It would be very surprising if party now rejected a black female - I just don’t think they would even consider it. It will be very interesting to see who she selects as her running mate. incredible times of chaos. I hear Donald Trump had a private telephone conversation with Bibi in Tel Aviv a day ago during which Trump went berserk with anger against the Israeli PM. Weird. I suspect it was over Israel rejecting the two State solution. Trump was always madly pro Israel. Looks like they are right off his Christmas card list. I hear he went bananas, whatever the cause.
What extraordinary times! The Signs are all around us. It reminds me of what Our Blessed Lady said: 'I have buried you with Signs!' I will be so glad to make it to Spain and buy my first chickens and maybe a good Spanish donkey. .and a few goats, maybe pigs, goats, whatever. I do believe I would die of joy if I owned a Spanish donkey of my very,very own.
The question that has to be asked is if Biden and his party feel he is not capable to be the candidate (btw a huge swing of his so called party friends in just 3weeks) than how can he continue to serve as POTUS. He would be in office until Jan 20, 2025…. Almost 6 moths! I really feel the world in these next 6 months is on the precipice of disaster. At best we have a lame duck leader but at worse a leader who is not truly in charge. We have enemies and other players in the world who may see thus as an opportunity. There was a thread earlier today about praying for election which is a wonderful ideas. But now, I feel this prayer needs to be now and during this time of ambiguity. I keep thinking about Our Lady’s call in June for the nine days novena for peace.
My favorite FSSP priest gave an amazing homily today at Mass. He said it was no coincidence that Trump was saved from death on July 13. That Our Lady of Fatima saved him, God has work for him to do, and we all need to pray for Trump's conversion to the Catholic Church. He also pointed out, very interestingly, that Our Lady of Fatima is the Woman of the Apocalypse.
