I don't believe in UFO's and usually skip over any reports about them so have never heard of the Chris Bkedsoe mentioned in this opinion piece. As far as I know, the Church doesn't condemn belief in the possibility of life on another planet, so people like Jimmy Akin are not straying from the faith by not ruling it out. I just think that if God had created intelligent life elsewhere in the universe He would have given us a heads up on the possibility that they would seek us out. It was the headline of the article that got my attention, and as I read through it I was reminded of a Malachi Martin interview about intelligence agencies straying into the territory of the paranormal. (And before I'm accused of America bashing, it wouldn't make sense for Satan to infiltrate some obscure country in the middle of nowhere to gain global dominance). I'm quoting the first few paragraphs of the piece which dates back to Feb 2024. The rest is well worth reading at this link: https://catholic460.substack.com/p/rosicrucian-principles-infiltrating Rosicrucian Principles Infiltrating Christianity A Theological Advisory Against ‘UFO of God’ Prof. Matthew A. Tsakanikas This opinion piece is a brief theological advisory, discernment, and wake-up call to pastors concerning Chris Bledsoe’s Amazon best-selling book “UFO of God” (2023). Allegedly, the events of Bledsoe’s life and the content of his book are developing into a major motion picture. Addressing just a few of the paranormal manifestations discussed in his autobiography are not about delving into the bizarre and mostly paranormal topic of UFOs (now called UAPs). It is an attempt to alert Catholic pastors that orthodox Christianity is being hi-jacked rapidly in the new and powerful alternative and social media. Rosicrucian (Masonic) principles are being absorbed and accepted unconsciously in the current propaganda environment. Since the Congressional hearings of July 2023 on UAPs, Chris Bledsoe has appeared on Fox News, been featured on the History Channel, and made countless other podcast interviews of significance. Large audiences of Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson are encouraged to believe our government is hiding an extraterrestrial presence. To his vast audience, Joe Rogan repeatedly encourages psychedelic drug usage to excite the pineal gland, enter altered states to commune with interdimensional beings, and to gain enlightenment [like the ancient cults of Egypt and Greece did]. It is the very sorcery (φαρμακείᾳ/pharmakeia) mentioned in Revelation 18:23. The Greek word pharmakeia is how we derive the English word pharmacy, but in this context, it is likely about potions to experience the afterlife and so we translate it “sorcery” for its ritual purposes. Without the use of psychedelics, and whether or not Chris Bledsoe is aware of it, he is being used to usher in tremendous challenges to the divine commission given by Jesus Christ to his Apostles and their lawful and orthodox successors. I am justified in this opinion since Bledsoe’s non-fiction and bestselling book opens in Chapter One with the spirits of his UFO encounters cooperating to ultimately assist retired intelligence officers to save Pope Francis. Usually fringe ideas and events don’t have such an extensive audience or noted supporters so Bledsoe is unique. Because of this, I highly encourage the Vatican to distance itself from the apparent séance and spirits in Bledsoe’s first chapter which allegedly led to intelligence agencies changing the Pope’s parade route in Philadelphia 2015. As already discussed in the prior article “War of the ‘gods’,” publishers shouldn’t open Bledsoe’s book with forewords from former heads of the CIA’s clandestine operations, and introductions from the Army’s leader on research into applications for paranormal activity in warfare, if they don’t want informed people to speculate on the obvious: Read the rest here: https://catholic460.substack.com/p/rosicrucian-principles-infiltrating I was wrong about the article dating back to 2014. It was written in Feb 2024. I've made the correction. Those darned cataracts.
Interesting that they were apparently going to use bows and arrows... https://www.jpost.com/international/article-819228
Some people consider the vision of a pope's martyrdom in the third secret to be obviously symbolic because the idea of a pope being struck by bullets and arrows seems very anachronistic ...
I wonder if could be that there are some Islamic religious reasons for using bows and arrows? I must check. But some of the crossbows they sell nowadays are really formidable. A lot of Military Special Forces use crossbows now as part of their training. This fits in with Fatima were Pope is killed with arrows of course.
Isaiah 35 1 The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, 2 it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God. 3 Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; 4 say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you." 5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. 6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. 7 The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. 8 And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it. [1] 9 No lion will be there, nor will any ferocious beast get up on it; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, 10 and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
My own opinion on 'extraterrestrial' beings, if they exist at all, is that they are demons. Forgive me for saying so, but I find it difficult to see an act allegedly saving Pope Francis as being benevolent, considering his words and actions since that time! Had he been assassinated, we would have been spared Amoris laetitia (if I have my time-line correct), Pachamama and the pro-sodomy document, among much else. Such a sparing would surely have been a blessing. I wish to make it clear that I do not wish the death of Pope Francis, merely an escape from the consequences of his papacy. However, we live in extraordinarily conflicting times. It's hard to know what to think. The only thing not moving under our feet is Christ and His Truth.
I once read a comment on a Brazilian traditionalist Catholic blog that said this was somehow related to Turkey.
Bows & arrows....kinda ominous from the view of the Psalmist ~ Ps 7:12 God is a just judge, strong and patient: is he angry every day? 7:13 Except you will be converted, he will brandish his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. 7:14 And in it he hath prepared to instruments of death, he hath made ready his arrows for them that burn. 7:15 Behold he hath been in labour with injustice: he hath conceived sorrow, and brought forth iniquity. 7:16 He hath opened a pit and dug it: and he is fallen into the hole he made. 7:17 His sorrow shall be turned on his own head: and his iniquity shall come down upon his crown. 7:18 I will give glory to the Lord according to his justice: and will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
The stuff about a pagan goddess worshipped as the queen of Heaven, orbs and fire being called down from the sky sent a shiver down my spine because it reminded me of the Akita prophecy. I only came across the article by accident. Considering it's seven months old, I'm surprised that I haven't seen it mentioned by any of the more well known Catholics. Maybe it's safer to focus on what Bella Dodd did nearly 100 years ago rather than current hazards. I hope someone tells Jimmy Akin lest he be asked to investigate and tries to communicate with the orbs. Now, if the intelligence agency had been Russian, I'm sure we'd be tripping over warnings about it. Warnings about Russia's errors and Islam are always a crowd pleaser and won't get you sent to youtube purgatory. We're living in a weird period of time. Did you know that Putin chose Kazan as the venue for the BRICS summit? The icon of the Virgin of Kazan is venerated in Russia especially in times of war. The summit opens on 22nd October which is also the starting date of the Orthodox commemoration of the icon in preparation for the feast day in November. The Fatima Centre acquired a copy of the icon which they gifted to the shrine in Fatima. Pope John Paul requested the icon from Portugal, kept it in his study and wanted to return it personally to Russia. The Patriarch refused so Cardinal Kasper brought it to Russia. The original icon is nowhere to be found (either lost, stolen or destroyed). I think that the icon St John Paul had is now in the monastery in Kazan. Here's an article about the connection between Fatima/St. John Paul and the icon: https://www.catholic.org/news/hf/faith/story.php?id=75771 And here's an Orthodox article about the icon: https://orthochristian.com/114554.html Kazan was Muslim when invaded by Ivan the Terrible. Expulsions and forced conversions followed. Later, Catherine the Great permitted the building of a mosque. Now the population is a Christian and Muslim mix with a sprinkling of other religions. They even have a "temple of all faiths". Plenty of photo ops for Putin and his guests. For Russia's sake, I hope he doesn't use the icon of the Blessed Mother as a PR prop.
Everyone in power is prepared to accommodate all versions of the 'truth'. If all are 'true', nothing is true. Putin might not be as corrupting as AmeroZion, but no earthly prince, bar perhaps a seemingly unlikely French monarch with an appropriate pedigree, is going to save us. Weird times, but those aware of such things are derided by the globalists as being the 'weird' ones-shades of St Anthony of the Desert, frequently mentioned here by Padraig.
This is very interesting. Recently Trump posted Our Lady of Guadalupe on X. It could be motivated by the desire to gain votes or political support. But still, the very fact these things are happening in regards to Our Lady is intriguing. Heaven could be making some moves and making them known in a subtle manner.
