No. Not good. Poor Canada. But you marked your own door with the Blood of the Lamb with your vote. a very holy friend deceased now told us some years ago that our vote should always be prolife. It was marking our doors with the Blood of the Lamb. To vote for a pro abort candidate was to endanger our souls.
In Canada, there is no one running pro life. They won’t allow pro life to run. That’s how bad it is. Pellieve has a lot of pro lifers working with him, so we choose the lesser of two evils if that’s possible anymore.
What happened in Spain, Portugal, and part of France is one of the bigger disasters for modern man. A complete collapse and power outage (which, ironically, coincides with Spain's transition to renewable energy sources...). A situation where operations are cancelled, there’s a collapse in transportation, people are stuck in elevators, geniuses who bought electric cars can’t go anywhere unless they have a full battery, industry stops working, and let’s not even talk about facilities that rely on electricity like cold storage and the damage that will occur. And the most brilliant of all, electronic money. As much as it’s easier for me to pay with cards sometimes, paper money is the only real money. Whether it’s communism, fascism, system collapse, persecutions, or whatever – paper always holds value and you can buy or sell without being dependent on the system, even on the black market if the government restricts you. According to the announcements, it will take up to a week for a full recovery. The cause of it all is being blamed on an 'unexplained weather phenomenon'... I hope it’s just the nonsense of switching to renewable energy sources, and not that something is being orchestrated to create chaos on purpose
I think you nailed it and politicians are trying to hide the fact with nonsense. There can be cascade failures on the grid when demand outstrips production. Often happens in the summer during a heat wave when everyone turns on their AC.
It’s the sun. It’s been going through a new phase. https://www.earth.com/news/strong-g...-alert-issued-auroras-expected-farther-south/
As Ben says in the video, I’m afraid that this power outage was another sign of a weakening magnetic field, which in conjunction with low and high pressure systems that were present before the blackout created a perfect condition for the solar wind to break into the lower atmosphere. This excited earth’s electric currents so much in the area around Spain, that current grid just couldn’t handle it. He seems to suggest that the sun’s effect were not particulary strong, but that electromagnetic conditions on earth were the reason for the potency of (in other circumstances normally strong) solar wind. I don’t understand everything he says, but his explanation seems more plausible than just “an unexpected weather event”, especially given the size of the blackout… but hopefully he is wrong and these events won’t become more frequent

When I think of the wonderful brave saints of Canada's early days...it just hurts me to think of it. The poor faithful devout Canadians like those here on the forum must be in deep grief. I am praying for all of you. St Isaac Jogues and St Jean de Brebeuf pray for Canada.
Yes when we lived in the upper peninsula of Michigan our church was American Martyrs. Studying the lives of these saints is quite the story. They were so physically tortured bringing Christianity to Canada. But they wanted the martyrdom.
It's funny the things that grab hold of you when you are a child. I grew up in western Michigan and the nuns told us the whole story of these brave priests. I just always felt close to St Isaac Jogues. And now I have a grandson named Isaac although my son has been gone from the Church for many years and had no notion of Saint Isaac Jogues. I take it as a sign.
Sts. John de Brebeuf and Isaac Jogues quickly come to mind as I have read the classics on these two saints and their companions. The legacy of such men pale as the deliberate assault against Church and Truth continue. The capitulation of Canadians actually scares me, for it demonstrates the depth of the erosion of true Faith, which then blinds our souls to that of what Justice and Truth consist.
I’ve always lived close to the Canadian border. There are pockets of the faithful in Canada, but on the whole they are very aloof. I attended a seminar years ago by two very famous Canadian photographers. They were devout Catholics and were lamenting that the young people did not want children. The young people looked down on those who did want children…they wanted exotic pets. This was about 25 years ago. They keep to themselves. QUOTE="Mario, post: 472651, member: 5"]Sts. We had another unplanned power outage today. Not sure what’s up. The power usually only goes out in the winter sometimes here.
Apparently, it was planned to work on infrastructure. How frail our power grid is here. Wood stove is a gift, though the globalist want them gone as well.
