I would like to know the opinion of the members of the forum about the vision of the martyrdom of the Pope contained in the third secret, the city amidst the ruins symbolically represents the Church in the time of apostasy or represents a literal event as a war or disaster? the Pope will be martyred or does it represent some symbolism about some Pope abandoning the mission of guiding the flock, defending the doctrine?
It does represent an actual Pope being martyred, along with most of his retinue in a Flight from Rome. The arrows which kill him are not symbolic but actual arrows. He will be hung from a tree as this is done. This death will occur in the south of Spain after he is taken from a cave along with his followers beside a village. The people who do this will be Islamists who will be widely occupying Europe at the time. These Islamists will belong to a new movement or sect which has not been founded yet but which will be very ,very extreme indeed; far more extreme than ISIS fro instance. I know these things because I was shown them in a dream many years ago. But if you check thorugh referenced Catholic prophesies you will see strong indications to confirm this. I suspect the present and previous Popes have been told of these things by several mystics. Whether or not the present Pope believes in this or not is another question ; but he will be aware of this. The death of this Pope will occur at a time of the biggest genocide in history. One that will far out dwarf, for instance the Holocaust of the Jews. This will involve mainly the Christians of Europe who refuse to convert to Islam but will be truly global.

Yes but when it happens I will be in my 80's, so maybe 20 years time? I used to wonder why America would not intervene to help Europe at this time . But with President Trump and the trade wars upcoming I can understand better now. I think this is what the Medugorje visionaries meant when they talked of world events starting to become real leading up to the secrets happening. The visionaries said there that the events would happen in their life time which ties in with this. I think people are wrong when they see these things as a long way off. They aren't really. To me they seem quite soon; but it depends what people mean by, 'Soon'.

In my studies of this Fatima prophecy, I feel the martyrdom you speak of is close at hand and "the Bishop in white" may well speak to a martyrdom of Pope Emeritus Benedict. I believe Verne's messages are authentic. However I wonder about the anti Christ. My understanding is that the anti Christ would appear at the end of the world. The tribulation we are embarking on is not the end of the World, but it will indeed seem like the end. It is spoken of in scripture: Matthew 24:21 The Abomination of Desolation …20Pray that your flight will not occur in the winter or on the Sabbath. 21For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again. 22If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened.… But you can also talk of lesser anti Christs, such as Alexander the Great, Nero, Hitler, Napoleon, Stalin and so.... But I may be wrong.

If soon we came to learn that this last five years have been a sort of preparation for the Anti Christ, and that in the very near future a unexpected world war will emerge out of nowhere in which the “bishop dressed in white” is martyred in Rome along with many clergy, and the city of Rome destroyed, I would under the present circumstances not be surprised, at all. Looking at the state of the Church, where it seems that an important part of the clergy are so eager to justify ’ those things of the world that destroy the family such as fornicstion, adultery, and homosexual relationships, and even abortion! in the name of mercy for women! First off, I highly recommend Father Joseph Iannuzzi short but very informative book, Antichrist and the End Times as a very instructive resource on this subject. One can acquire it at Amazon.com for $5 and kindle for $3. In his book, within the first chapter, he references scripture which speaks of the 'many antichrists and then the Antichrist who appears with the False Prophet for 1290 days to rule over the world of the sinners. Clearly from scripture we see in Revelations 19-20 the appearance of the person who is Antichrist who along with the False Prophet wages war on all souls faithful to God. In these passages his reign ends by being thrown into hell, where Satan is at, along with the False Prophet for 1000 years (Rev 20: 1-10). Then we read the Era of Peace takes place Rev:[7] And when the thousand years shall be finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go forth, and seduce the nations, which are over the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, and shall gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Pope St. John Paul spoke of the Antichrist present in our world back in 1976 in an address given during that 1976 Eucharistic Congress in Philadelphia for the bicentennial celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Cardinal Karol Wojtyla spoke some words which I believe were prophetic. - We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I believe this is precisely why our Lord revealed through the old and new testaments that he would reveal his hidden truths through his prophets. And the prophets/messengers of these end-times have surely spoken loudly to the reign of the Antichrist in our moment in history.

Please let me add my opinion as well, the Fatima Secret, a text of 25 Lines only (23 and bit more to be precise) is in 2 Parts, in the First part, the Lady talks about the Dogma of Faith (in other word about the Teachings of the Church), in the second Part, the Lady talks about Peter including Cardinals, Bishops and Priests, in other word about the Papacy, she finally end the Secret with a Great Hope for all of us, her Triumph via the Consecration to her Immaculate Heart of Russia by Peter but at the end only, my friends to me this is probably dark text, like a cry of a Mother warning her Children, it looks that she sees a Great danger for many of them, de facto and as any Mother, she is probably very worried but also very angry, thank you.
