I believe Mark is suggesting here we take the blue pill...and be at peace. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Red Pilled
Here is a red pill ; if you want to take it. Don't forget to take a large glass of cold water to swallow it down. It may be difficult to take. But in the long run it will be a lot better for you than Mark Mallet's blue pill.
Taking a Blue Pil is , 'Roll over and go back to sleep'. Red pill is, 'Wake up and smell the coffee'. I think of something Srchbishop Fulton Sheen said, he saidthat people who have a living Faith will see what is going on , those who do not will go on blindly. Therefore the best red pill of all is qutie simply to pray and pray loads and loads and loads; especially at the present moment. Pray and you take the red pill and wake up. DOn;t pray and you take the blue pill; roll over and go back to sleep. I find it very, very, very disturbing indeed that MArk MAllet had recmmended taking the blue pill over and oover and over again. Very, very, very disturbing indeed and frankly I am getting a bit cheesed off with it.
Mark's advise is very sound and highlights the negatives of spending too much time and energy thinking, researching, talking, posting every negative thought about the pope, cardinals and bishops. Voris is a good example. I applaud him for highlighting what is going on but I swear he must spend most of his time on this stuff. It's like a broken record of negative crap, even if true. Often posting videos with nothing new just more speculation and rehashing. I have to admit I'm growing tired of it. One could literally spend hours per day on this stuff and I wonder what fruit does it hold? Is it really God's call? Is is really saving souls or is it more voicing fear? I feel I'm being called to spending even less time on this stuff. The circle of effective change that I may have some success at achieving is much, much smaller than the world stage and the internet has little or nothing to do with it. If fire really does falls from the sky I want to be found doing something other than watching a long winded video about the latest pope/cardinal/bishop drama. So you either take the red pill or take the blue pill and pray more and talk less with the likes of MM, which apparently is not as good for us in the long run. I'll take the risk and take the blue one gladly. All that is going on was already for-told at Atika by Mary. The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church......prayer and fasting has always been the solution to fighting satan and his minions........
One CAN take the red pill, yet spend little time online at all. It’s not an either/or, but a both/and that we are called to at this point. By all means, turn it all off. But only in order to pray and sacrifice even more, being fully aware of this reality of which Our Mother has repeatedly warned us, and which hurts the heart of Our Lord tremendously. I recommend Consoling the Heart of Jesus at this time. https://www.allheartsafire.org/consoling-the-heart-of-jesus/overview.html
This type of rational discussion is what the church needs today. It is respectfully honest and no one can argue with the substance of the information, rather they can only do what Pope Francis does and attack the messenger, rather then debate them.
Meaning of course that there isn't an all one side or the other like Padraid implies with the 2 pills. I stay up enough on what is happening but the lack of fruit is becoming very apparent. Padraid, placing a brother in Christ like Mark Mallett as someone you are mad at for not dishing on the pope enough highlights exactly what his post was alluding to. Division among the ranks of even good Catholics. I get the impression you didn't even read it to the end or got fired up and didn't read it in the right state of peace.
If something is wrong it is enough to point out where it is wrong, being open to being shown where you are wrong yourself. If something is right it is enough to defned it. I am baffled as to where in Catholic Tradition and Spirituality that it is shown that it is not proper to point out worngs because it upsets folks. That silence in the face of Great Evil is somehow a good thing. If the light hurts your eyes throw the light switch, if you don;t like reading this stuff don;t read it. But don;t tell me I'm worng to write it. Just don't read it. Throw the Light Switch. Easy.
Mark says that he cannot judge the Chinese situation because he was not party to the 'delicate negotiations' involved. These 'delicate negotiations' were finalised by the infamous homosexual and alleged abuser Cardinal McCarrick and so, I believe, that we can be pretty confident that the Holy Spirit was not conspicuously present in the minds of either parties in this 'carve up'. I have contacted Mark ('please consider tithing to my ministry') to point this out.
I've read every single blog post of MM's, some many times. You say "don't pray and take the blue pill, roll over and go back to sleep" and that MM says to keep doing this over and over again?? Seriously Padraid you are not even making sense.
Mark had me for the first third of the article and I was going to write something very complimentary of him, but then in the middle, he ruined it lol Anyway, I think this article is a mixed bag as I find a lot of what he writes is. As MMM stated perhaps sometimes we go too far overboard and nit-pick on all of the little things too much. I think this is detrimental to our own spiritual well-being. That time could be better spent in prayer. Guide people in charity on the bigger issues, but don't get sucked into criticizing every little thing especially interior intentions. If the Pope says we are allowed to use birth control in certain situations as he did during the Zika virus should we point out he is wrong? Absolutely, that goes directly against Church teaching. But if the Pope says the globe is warming and we disagree perhaps we should not slam him too hard. It is not in the area of faith and morals, etc. anyway. It seems today that if he sneezes we know about it (and often have a comment ) So I say take the red pill, but do not be too troubled or obsessed by these things. All this must come to pass. Not saying I have everything figured out, but that's just my 2 cents. Take it or leave it
I think if Mark chooses silence that is fine for him, but he seems to be saying that it is the right course for everyone. That is something I have a problem with. Everyone is not the same. God made us for different purposes. Some are front-line soldiers and some stay in the background and support them. We all need to pray a great deal, but if no one had spoken up then almost all of us would be lost in the dark right now.
In the past, I have supported Mark's ministry financially. I have printed off many of his sound blogs as references going forward. I concur with almost everything he has written, but blind loyalty to a church leader is not sound thinking if that person is giving anything other then the absolutes of the faith. Surely Mark knows of the many ambiguities that Pope Francis embraces and he must know scripture teaches, "let your yes be yes and your no be no". Surely he knows you can love and pray for the Pope and Bishops who are speaking contrary to what the Church has always spoken to, but to not see by now that our Pope and his close high ranking followers are leading souls astray in some doctrinal areas is not of Christ or of the Father. There is plenty of information that has by now been revealed to know better. Even for the pope to dismiss holy men like Burke, Vigino and others who are more concerned about the soul and judgement then they are about being politically correct and being accepted by the sinners of the world. We are all saddened and do want to acknowledge that our pope and many of his closets cardinals and bishops are leading souls into heresy, but if a person cannot by now see what is happening to our beloved Church that Jesus instituted, I don't think they ever will.
Everyone has made good points here. Now I am not one that sits on the fence, so how can everyone be right? To be silence when something is wrong is wrong. But maybe we can get so caught up in all the goings on that we find we are not in a very good spirit. I have personally found this the case. So it is important to take care of ones own soul too. Praetorian. When the pope speaks of global warming, maybe we can slam him. Because if the world keep on believing that all these unusual weather patterns are man made, they will not recognise the signs of it being closer to judgement day. This is the whole problem with this alleged man made climate change. People will not turn to God as recognising they have little time for conversion.
I find myself somewhere in between. I enjoy Michael Voris and agree with his position but if I watch too many of them they disrupt the delicate balance (within me) between vigilance and charity. With Mark Mallett, I have a very high regard for his opinion (just as I do Padraig’s). As is the case with all matters, we must discern our own personal motivations and act accordingly. All this said, we must find that balance and love our pope while protecting our faith. And we need the help that can only come from prayer. I will take the purple pill.
for what it's worth, I will throw this out there. My aunt has been receiving interior locutions from the Blessed Virgin Mary since we went to Medjugorje together in 1993. She has books that will be published later when she is told (that I will be given for the world) of messages from Mary and Jesus to the world.... She was recently harshly admonished by the BVM in her prayers she was upset about the priests and the pope....she was told point blank. PRAY FOR MY PRIESTS, DO NOT JUDGE THEM. I take that advice to heart....
