Struggling

Thanks everyone. I'm struggling with thoughts of damnation. I must have made a big mistake with God. I was doing so well. I even saw a light coming out of the divine mercy image one night.

 

Well I am hijacking this thread to say I need prayer. My son has covid. I would appreciate any and all prayers. Thank you all so much.

Hang tough Peter. You are very close to the Lord. The big mistake if there is a big mistake is not trusting God's love and mercy. The enemy is putting these dark thoughts into your imagination. God does NOT work this way. When a soul needs to repent the impulse is without all this fear and worry. It is a tug on the soul and holy confession takes care of it. The light from the Divine Mercy picture is a signal grace. Jesus is telling you He is very much with you in this Gethsemane he us allowing you to experience. At least that is what comes to me when I read your post. Prayers are going up for you ftom all the wonderful prayer warriors on the forum. Take a deep breath and rebuke these thoughts about damnation in Jesus's Holy Name.
