although I think this is a bit heavy handed, my dad sent this to me today and much of it rings true....

 

Before Hitler took all the guns away,..he simply had everyone register them,..so when the time came to confiscate them,..he knew exactly where to get them. We need to be prepared for what is to come. There is no fear for a Christian because we believe death has no power over us.

 

This is America now,...the Constitution is under attack,...

 

True, I agree. Gun control has taken a crazy turn. The right to bear arms....so we can protect ourselves from tyrannical governments and individuals. Sad, liberal spin will take away all of our rights, communism is on it's way.

 

This is what will happen...America's economy will implode...people will riot in some cities...other law abiding citizens will demand law and order...the huge government we have built will descend and intervene into every facet of life as we know it. It will be aurhoritarian and technocratic. The evil empire empowered will devour its own people until it devours itself. Christians will be persecuted, especially Catholics.

 

This is a long video, it's an ugly video,..not easy to watch. I was hesitant to post this,..but with all the push in America now for gun control...there are comments at the end of the video.

 

This is a spiritual site so I would hate to go off on a tangent. But as a non American I am curious, would many African Americans support the Second Amendment or are the ones on the video very exceptional?

I think the more I know about the USA the less I realise I understand.

I've lived in NYC and now I live in Florida, actually I've lived in two different Floridas - in a middle of nowhere rural one and in South Florida which is much more like blue states, though not completely.
What real people think and say is never reflected in so called mainstream media, which is basically left-wing propaganda

 

I joined in the last month because I believe the NRA is the strongest organization in defending the 2nd Amendment!

My husband bought me a membership last month! I would not be surprised if gun rights end up being compromised in the near future simply b/c these are the times we live in. God's in charge so I'm spiritually ready. Bring it on!

I'm a black American and I support the 2nd amendment although I do not own any arms. I do not like to be called african american because my parents and grandparents did not come from Africa. They are American also. One of my grand fathers is from Trinidad and Tobago so I can be called West Indian American, but I just say I'm black and American.
My husband is Caucasian. He would like to purchase arms, but we feel it might be too late for that now. We would be registered and all and that would draw attention to us. He is former military so he is considering alternative arms for now although I don't know what he might have up his sleeve.

This is what I see as well. Tina speaks the truth unfortunately. It is very difficult for me because a black person is expected to vote Democrat in America. Most of my family are Obama fanatics but call themselves Christian. They know where I stand and I know they don't like it. They jokingly call me Mother Theresa. I said I'd rather be Mother Theresa than Mrs. Obama any day.

Then I am also surrounded at work by white obama supporters who cannot stand conservative anything, but they deal with me as best they can. I cannot and will not change my beliefs because others think i should, but it is challenging. Just another gift to offer up to God.

I love Allen West! I didn't know he has even run for office. What office did he run for? The media drives me batty!
They inform society information they choose to.

Hi Rae, My cousin is a hunter, he is very concerned about losing his right to bear arms. He did send me something about keeping a can of wasp spray on hand should one come in danger of a preditor,..it shoots up to ten ft and more and I think it burns. I think your husband is wise. It is better to protect ones family if need be.
