It's interesting the student protests across colleges (many of them very famous and prestigious) about the Genocide in Gaza. It reminds me of the protests against the Vietnam War in my youth. Once upon a time you know the entire Middle East, virtually was Christian. We are actually reading about the birth of this in the readings in the Acts of the Apostles. For instance that it was in Antioch believers were first called, 'Christian'. Now it is all gone. Why? Well St John had the answer in the Apoclaypse when the Lord speaks to the Churches when He points out their faults. . That which is built on false Foundations will not stand. What is happening in the USA in the colleges makes me so sad. The First Amendment states that, “Congress shall make no law...abridging freedom of speech.” Yet as far as these poor students are concerned the First Amendment does not seem to exist. In our own day we have become so very,very intolerant of those who have opinions that are different from our own. But then again I recall some terrible things that happened during the Vietnam Protests...or even the Civil Rights Protests. So maybe things have not changed so very much.
Christ's promise to the church is something I have never doubted; as well as the apparition of Fátima that predicted the current apostasy, which is something that is fulfilled with incredible accuracy; especially after Fiducia Supplicans which is an obviously heterodox document that favors Protestantism. The pope as Vicar of Christ should not meet all our expectations and desires, just defend the 2000-year-old doctrine, which is something very different from that. I don't believe that Pope Francis is the antichrist, but that doesn't stop me from seeing the current crisis as the fulfillment of a prophetic apostasy. As for him being a communist, again, I reiterate that this label does not fit him sufficiently since in the 2016 American election he shamelessly favored the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, who is not a communist in the economic sense of the term, however his political positions fulfill the communist sense of expelling God from constitution and politics.
I so wish I could argue this was not the case. In the end though, it's not really possible to "expel" God from anywhere. Eventually and at some point, everyone will come to understand this.....

There's nothing to forgive ~ politics are what they are. It's very sad to me that in most countries the politics/politicians do in fact appear to reject God's laws. And we have a pope who does not appear to see that as a problem.
I'm curious to know by what authority you can judge that a Pope is invalid or that he is a heretic. What he said to journalists doesn't meet the standard. Calling a valid Pope the Anti-Christ is very Protestant and probably first reared its ugly head around the time Martin Luther lusted after a nun. When Jesus didn't return to validate the claims of the Reformers, they came up with the convenient claim that eveey Pope is the AC. How long will it be before those calling Francis and invalid Pope will have little option than to copy the Reformers? Or will they elect a Pope of thrir own? In the latter case, who do you have in mind?
The "authority" to judge in the matter is provided by the current law of the Roman Catholic Church. Our God-given reason allows any person to read Church law and apply that law to the facts in the matter. If one does that, there are two conclusions: 1. Bergoglio's election was illegal and, as such, invalid. Read about the details here: https://www.antipope.cc/. Pay close attention to the wording of UDG 76, which states that there is no need for "a declaration on the matter" by any kind of authority or court. 2. In case one cannot understand the law regarding the invalidity of the election and she believes, incorrectly, that Bergoglio's election was legitimate, then she can look to 1983 Canon Law. Canon 194 §1.2 explains that "a person who has publicly defected from the Catholic faith or from the communion of the Church" is "removed from an ecclesiastical office by the law itself." In other words, a manifest heretic loses his authority to govern. And this happens automatically, "by the law itself." As you can see, these are not "Protestant" arguments. These are the laws set up by the legitimate authorities in the Roman Catholic Church, not random opinions of some "Protestant" sectarian. These mechanisms to protect the papal office have been in place for centuries.
That argument has been done to death. Supreme Pontiff means exactly what the title says. Supreme Pontiff Benedict Xv1 chose to resign. Universi Dominici Gregis didn't have authority over him. He told the Church to elect his successor and submitted himself in obedience to that successor. Pope Benedict's words and example along with the acceptance of the College of Cardinals are more reliable than a website named antipope. Francis was accepted by the Universal Church and officially installed as Pope. That's it. Done deal whether you, I or anyone else likes it or not. We owe him obedience. And it's most certainly Protestant to declare a Bishop of the Church to be the AC, be he Pope or a Bishop of some backwoods diocese.
