No, you can't compare deaths from 1917...you just can't. As a nurse you have to look at 1917. Medicine is not where it is today. You didn't have modern interventions. IV fluids, antibiotics for secondary bacterial infections, antiviral meds, etc.... The living conditions were awful in 1917. You had people living in very close quarters whether large families lived together or boarding houses or tenements in cities. The war was going on and troops were bringing this across the globe in trench warfare. People farmed their own food so that if a family went down with the flu, nobody worked the farm and many just died of starvation.... I don't think you can draw a comparison to how we intervene for the flu today and how we were able to back in 1917, thus certain death.

Good health is such a blessing and not to be thrown away. I think St Augustine said something along the lines that it is a great gift to be used wisely each day. Burnt before God like a little candle for his glory. I am of an age now where I can see in my parish men who went to school with me tottering along. I on the other hand cans till climb mountains with joy and walk far , far into forests. Such a joy. Good health is a great, great blessing and not to be thrown away. Life itself is a hug egift too and not to be wasted or risked foollishly.
Can you please tell me how to grow garlic? I know you split the bulbs apart and stick them in the ground or pots or whatever, but is it true this is the best time for planting - that the frosty nights splits them into many bulbs and not just one single bulb? I'd like to grow some because lately it has been difficult to get anything other than Chinese garlic and I don't like the taste (and there are stories that they grow them on human excrement)
How strange. I am about to walk the dogs up by Belfast Castle were there are carpets of Wild Garlic in the forest. I must pick some. But perhaps it is too late in the year. Sometimes I see folks out harvesting wild garlic for the winter. I forgot to get some, i must have a look.

I would say most certainly that folks who wish to force you to take injections you certainly don't want and fear may harm you are very,very good moral grounds for armed self defense.
My grandson has high functioning autism. He always had a bad reaction to vaccines, so this does indeed make sense. Autism is practically an epidemic, and many doctors are reluctant to diagnose these children, especially those who are high functioning. My daughter had to move heaven and earth to get the proper diagnosis for my grandson. There are so many children with autism there are not enough special education teachers in our schools, and they are overwhelmed. As my daughter discovered, children who have high functioning autism receive very little support, and sadly they slip through the cracks. She had to hire an educational advocate to force the school to give him an educational plan. Since COVID came along, only those children who are severely autistic are receiving services. My grandson is failing due to remote learning, it is a basically a lost year for him. Sorry for the rant, autism is a subject near and dear to me and I do believe the vaccines could play a role.

Yes, I think that the vaccine will be offered first to the elderly and others in the high risk category. I was a bit troubled this year when answering the questions for the 'flu vaccine. I had to do it online, and submit it to the chemist before they would give me an appointment to get the vaccine. Last year the same chemist was providing a walk-in service for the 'flu vaccine. There were two questionnaires, One of them had the usual questions for the 'flu vaccine like whether you're allergic to this, that or the other. The covid-related form asked questions irrelevant to whether or not I was a suitable candidate for the 'flu vaccine. For example, one question asked whether I was a carer or a main contact for an elderly or vulnerable person. Part of the process is giving permission for the information to be shared with relevant authorities. I know that it's silly because the government likely has all this information from other sources, but I felt very uneasy filling out that form. It looks like their means of getting everyone to take the vaccine will be to somehow link it to the right to work or to travel abroad.
That's what I reckon too. I teach at a 3rd level institute. I have no doubt that at some point I will be required to take the vaccine in order to be allowed to work. Surely this is a human rights offence though? Forced medical treatment is a war crime according to the Nuremburg code!

Yes they all seem to. Not only them but a host of others such as various flu's. And virus's effecting only animals. By the way the mass Chinese vaccination is well underway in that poor benighted country. There have been very,very severe side effects indeed. We know this because they tried it in Brazil and folks started falling like flies. So Brazil stopped using the Chinese vaccine and said they were no longer going to buy it. That it was too dangerous. China, China, China.
