Yes just imagine minus 9 at the moment in Kiev and many without power. Why do I find it distasteful to call Kiev - Kyiv? It was always Kiev when I was growing up. When anyone spoke about Ukraine, I regarded it as synonymous with Russia. There are still many Ukrainians who speak Russian outside of the Donbass. They used to be called Little Russians. They would prefer to learn English than to invest in learning Ukrainian.

 

Poor people I can't imagine what it must be like for them. But this is all prophetic as to what is coming to us all very soon. Great trials. Great, great trials.

Plus as Mary warned us the vast majority of us will not be strong enough to bear them.

 

I write in particular about the second use of an Oreshnik missile, on the night of 8th, on the Ukraine's largest natural gas storage facility (an underground one in the west of the country that reportedly contained over 50% of their gas), followed by a drone attack on three combined thermal-electric facilities in Kiev itself. As temperatures are minus 20, Ukrainian engineers are having to drain all water from affected apartment blocks, before the pipes all burst, and the mayor (of Jewish descent-how few Jews in the Ukraine, so many in power) of Kiev has called on residents to leave the capital.

 

IIRC there are 40k Jews in Ukraine and a total population of 40 million before the war. Jews are something like 0.001% of the population but for some reason control everything there.
