I don’t typically pay attention to Biden speech’s but I will watch tonight at 8pm ET - in hopes that his words are not disingenuous. Tbh, I don’t expect much, but am willing to have an open mind.
I think sadly they won’t be genuine it’s a political move. You can’t attack someone right now that should have been assassinated because that would be an awful look politically. I’d guess most the harsh words from top democrats like Biden will go away in an attempt to look like a leader and try to get votes.

BTW Trump posted on truth social this afternoon that God saved him. And " be not afraid!" He means to go forward trusting in God. Words to that effect.
It is always an immeasurable grace to escape death, but in my opinion, there is a special meaning in escaping an instant death situation, especially when you have many sins and little contrition. Trump had been distancing himself from the pro-life cause in recent months, so he could very well have lost his salvation. Faced with the miraculous deliverance that he himself attributed to God, I have some hope that he will once again embrace the pro-life cause as he did during his first presidential term.

Someone earlier wrote that the attempt on his life might change him … he sees God’s hand in Protecting him. So, to read this quote that his speech on Thursday will be completely changed looks is really a good sign. This was exactly my husband's theory. That the agent would have prevented the assassin from shooting but was being denied orders to take him out.
We know how important the Word is in Being. Words are the content of our consciousness and tend to carry more meaning than we often realise. It could be said that Donald Trump is America's 'trump card'. Even as he has spent the last few years undergoing an ordeal of trial by 'trumped-up charges'. Please God, he'll be 'blowing his trumpet' come November!
However, it is not possible for them to entirely control Biden. He might blurt out something outrageous or lend his sympathies to the Putin family.
On the other hand, this might have been tactical. This is politics and, unfortunately, most Americans pay only partial lip-service to the pro-life cause, at best. The best outcome for the pro-life cause is unquestionably the election of Donald Trump, but he has to get elected first. It has long been a tactic of the pro-life cause to attempt to achieve the implementation of more restrictive abortion measures, although such measures still involve abortion. However, to take a purist view in such situations would only leave a worse situation in place. Quite often, in this fallen world, the perfect can be the enemy of the good. We can judge Donald Trump by his actions in office. He has already far superseded all of his predecessors. However, if he alienates the lukewarm majority who oppose full restriction of abortion, and fails to be elected, it will be of absolutely no benefit to the unborn innocents, because all the other candidates are enthusiastic abortionists. I think it's fair to say that God has Endorsed this candidate.
That's how I am reading it. He was spared by God. To me this is clear. This is a sign. A direct very clear sign. He was saved in spite of several odd " miscalculations' in the secret service--whether it was total incompetence or deliberate malice the assassin got into position and had a clear shot. And it failed. Because Our Lady intervened. BTW when was the last time a devout Catholic priest was invited to pray before a Democrat rally? Fr Jason Charon prayed the invocation before Trump's rally. He asked heaven for protection. Sadly a father lost his life protecting his daughters. A good man. A God fearing man. His daughter wrote a beautiful message about him. He was not protected. But his daughters were because of his swift action. He is in heaven I have NO doubt.
