I'd only have one (small) quibble with your post above (but my loyal collie is at my feet). You do animals a wee disservice. These unfallen creatures live in the order which they were given. Except perhaps in cases where they are trained or so bred by humans, as in the case of certain aggressive breeds of dog, for example, animals are not disordered. Humans who lose their Revealed Guidance, on the other hand, are prone to losing their sense of what is rightly ordered and will then inevitably make it up by themselves, aware or not of an alternative 'guidance'. And here we are, where we are.

Thank you for the reference to John Robison.

I think we misunderstood each other. I agree, Animals have a natural order and a way of functioning that was given to them. I only wanted to say that in relation to humans they are far "lower" creatures because we are made in the image of God, we have reason, personality and free will which is God's greatest gift. No human would want to be an animal in the sense of the value or hierarchy of created living beings. I just took that as an example and drew a parallel to how much God descended and "humbled" himself to become a man out of love for man. Absolute perfection, wisdom, love and reason descended into the human imperfect body, among sinners and shared with them life circumstances, emotions, food... Only the difference between man and God is far, far greater and immeasurable than between man and animal.

    Of course.

I think when man loses his sense of order, he risks coming to imitate demons rather than engage in animal behaviour, as those higher attributes which distinguish him from the animal become inverted and sink him to a position of being much lower than the animal.

I think we are saying the same thing, that's why I called my quibble a minor one!

On other matters, will the fall of Le Pen leave open the way for the possibility of a Frenchman of royal blood to challenge Macron?

As the genocide in Gaza ramps up again, with Israel also bombing Lebanon and Syria, combined with Donald Trump's threats to Iran, I suggest the title of this thread might be more accurate if it was changed to "Netanyahu Humiliated Trump & Vance".

My initial hopes that Trump might be the harbinger of a less lethal form of Zionism are dissipating rapidly.

I am now a regular subscriber to E. Michael Jones' "Culture Wars" magazine. I strongly recommend it, because it seems to me that it represents the closest approximation to Catholic Truth available currently. He, and his contributors, seem to have the firmest handle on the real motivations of the major political players in our world today and this is further underlined by Dr Jones' eminent and consistent Catholic orthodoxy. It is also reassuring to me that many very knowledgeable contributors on this site are 'singing from the same hymn-book', because there are very many respected Catholics in the public sphere revealing themselves as partaking in the Zionist fallacy. Some might even be touching the point of heresy, unwittingly or not.

May the Lord have mercy on us all.

To paraphrase a quote from the Bible (Can anything good come out of Nazareth? - John 1:46), I would say, can anything good come out of France at the moment? They say that France, and for a reason, is the oldest daughter of the Catholic Church. The Roman Empire may have been the initiator of the persecution and spread of Christianity; Rome is Rome, all roads lead there, and I believe it will always remain the center of the Catholic world, with the Vatican at its head. Italian soil has been soaked with the blood of the greatest martyrs from the very beginning, so generations of saints have been sown for centuries in that region, today’s Italy, from the first popes to the recently canonized Saint Padre Pio.

However, France, over the centuries, has given protection to Europe and preserved the Christian tradition. When the Franks, as a tribe, first penetrated Europe, they were the first to embrace Christianity, which is why they are called the oldest daughter of the Church. For example, Charles Martel in 732 saved Europe from the first major Muslim invasion at the Battle of Poitiers, one of the most important battles ever, and preserved the Christian Western civilization. About fifty years later, Charlemagne, the greatest European ruler, whom they call the father of Europe, helped in the conversion of Germanic tribes and the creation of Christian Europe. French monarchs led campaigns to the Holy Land, protected the Papal States (and sometimes destroyed them), but they were an important figure, and one of them, Louis IX, was even canonized as a saint. Thus, the French were, for about 13 years, the center of the political, cultural, and social life of the Catholic Church, or, along with Rome, one of the most important areas. Then came the deeply planned Masonic Revolution of 1789, which many today still consider a symbol of resistance against "tyranny." and French still sing the same anthem that celebrates those events. In this struggle "for freedom", nearly 10,000 priests were killed, and in the French province of Vendee in the west, which was the center of Christianity due to the actions of Saint Louis Montfort and where resistance to the revolution was strong, over 200,000 Catholics were killed, more than half of the population at that time. The Church and the seat of the Catholic Church, Notre Dame, were profaned by the destruction of religious statues and the installation of the statue of reason, and Mass was "replaced" by the cult of the worship of the Goddess of Reason...

And everything led to what one of the leading Enlightenment philosophers, today often celebrated, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, said just before the revolution: “Man will only be free when the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.” And so, France went from being the oldest daughter of the Church to the harlot of Europe.

After the terror, Napoleon came, who calmed things within France because the remaining monarchies wanted to restore the monarch to power in France. So, the Masons understood that they needed a strong leader to spread their cult, and Napoleon was installed, who shortly after that kidnapped Pope Pius VI from Rome, and the pope died a year later in captivity in France. Then, after trying to reconcile with the next pope, Napoleon again kidnapped him from Rome and kept him in captivity for five years in France until his final defeat in 1814... And since then, everything went even more downhill, culminating in the 1880s during the Third French Republic and the secularization of education (i.e., the removal of religious education from schools), and then in 1905, the complete separation of Church and state...

I dare say that France, throughout the 20th century and onwards, has become a foretaste of what they want to achieve for the entire world—a multicultural country without an identity, bitter about its own past, where God, who reigned for about 15 centuries, is only an ugly memory and a trauma for the people...

Currently, the all royal families I know are just shadows of former rulers, dancing to the same tune as the Masons, globalists, and EU bureaucrats. Most are also members of the same organizations, filling tabloids with scandals, losing themselves in hedonism without values, and even less faith...

However, if the French have been led astray and have forgotten God, He has not forgotten them. Just over the course of a few centuries, some of the greatest Marian apparitions came from France, with Lourdes and Saint Bernadette at the forefront. What can we say about the great protector of priests, Saint John Mary Vianney, and let’s not forget that my personally most beloved American (by Irish descent) speaker, and I hope soon-to-be saint, Bishop Fulton Sheen, actually honed his craft and education in France... But we believe in God, who performs the greatest miracles when no one believes, when the proud are exalted and think that the time of faith, hope, and Christianity has ended... If God decides to raise someone from France, then that person will succeed, regardless of how secularism, Islam, and Freemasonry have left their marks on France, and how Christianity has nearly vanished from the map.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone who becomes a great Christian leader goes through a life journey like Saint Paul, from a persecutor or perhaps today a hater, to a protector of the faith. Most often, those who have tasted the life of hatred are the ones who are ready to die for the life of faith.

Of course, something Good did come from Nazareth and I was specifically thinking of the prophecies that promise a French Catholic leader, of royal blood, that will arise and repel a Russian invasion of Europe, something that events could plausibly be pointing towards.

I wonder, when Our Lord arose in Nazareth, if the land of Israel was in much better spiritual shape than the France of our own day? It was dominated by Talmudist pharisees, promoting a religion that was perhaps as much an inversion, subversion and perversion of true Mosaic Judaism as the cult of "Reason" was of Christianity.

    Nothing new under the sun.

[I share your devotion to Bishop Sheen].

Ha, that's hilarious! ... Apparently you have no idea who Pastor Mark Burns is. I know him personally and had a chance to talk about this topic with him about this very issue not long ago. I feel sorry for you if you immediately believe something is propaganda because it doesn't fit your own worldview.

People like this pastor are a clear indication of how distorted Christianity can become when it strays from the Catholic Church and objective truth... A former McDonald's employee with two failed marriages, who lied about his education and military background, and who realized he could profit handsomely by privatizing 'God' for political purposes—doing his part for the gullible and superficial believers. It's unbelievable how susceptible Protestantism is to various charlatans who exploit people, twisting and manipulating the Bible for their own gain and enrichment. When you take a step back and look at it objectively, you realize how much more elevated the Catholic Church is, from its structure to the way it conveys God's word and preserves the dignity of faith.

It's interesting how even his followers fail to see the irony that their pastor is simply the American version of Patriarch Kirill—both of them are Government servants first, and religious leaders second. This puts them in the same category, as they listen to what politics tells them before they listen to word of God.

Imagine thinking an article from the Kiev independent isn't propaganda. Imagine basing your whole perception of this war around a single event, not including the history leading up to the war and the whole current context. Imagine the intelligence of a pastor who preaches in this manner. Imagine thinking that this kind of preaching which takes advantage of the ignorance of others is good. Imagine thinking anyone cares who Pastor Mark Burns is or that they have had the opportunity to speak with him. Imagine a person who comes to this image board every now and again only to post this kind of nonsense.

The truth is coming out more and more every day and non-sense like this isn't it.
