AGREE.

 

I feel the same, it is too easy to be deceived. I just commented on the video with Lucas that was posted over on the Antichrist thread. I listened to it twice because I found it hard to swallow. With these prophesies there is always a bit of truth mixed in to create confusion. It saddens me when this comes from a priest, it's really hard to handle.

It suddenly makes sense.
Our weakest area is always the focal point in spirituality. It is the door to our soul. While God uses our weaknesses to draw us closer to Him, to ultimately glorify Him, Satan always attacks us through our weaknesses.
When I think of my weaknesses, I tend to think about my lack of patience, my tendency to over work.
But what if my weakest point is my mind? My tendency to worry, to turn things over and over in my mind endlessly?
What if my weakness is also my (hidden) pride in my ability to come up with solutions, to reason things out, to render clarity to others?
What if my tendency is to unconsciously favour thinking over discernment? Mind over Holy Spirit?
Satan wouldn't go anywhere else much when he has this door by which to attack me.

 

Time settles everything. So far his prophecy on Pope Benedict has proven true. I think he also warned about his body, should not be left alone. It has come out since that the plan was to leave his remains unguarded overnight but the Swiss Guards returned from their work breaks to stand by his coffin. They were not paid for this extra work. Who knows what evil had been planned. We all know the unthinkable is upon us.
He also said that these things do not have to happen now if we pray harder and make sacrifices. The Antichrist of this age can be converted. Prophecy will be fulfilled but it might not be now if we pray and sacrifice. Certainly things can be mitigated. Think of Ninivagh. There have been many Antichrist but the one now doesn't have to be. Eventually we will have the final antichrist.
I prefer to reserve judgement and take on board the requests for prayer and penance and preperstion

 

Thank you for expressing yourself about this issue, maryrose. I am inclined to see it as you do.

 

Sounds more like a way to explain away failed prophecies if nothing begins in October. The idea that the antichrist can be converted also sounds ridiculous and never before part of tradition. We know from Garabandal that the warning and miracle are set in stone. The chastisement is conditional. Nothing was ever said about antichrist. Antichrist may not have anything to do with this time. It is not clear, but he was never mentioned at fatima, akita, or garabandal.

 

I do have to say that I did not watch the video. I prefer to read most of the time, not all. It seems as though people are objecting to what is in the video. I haven't found anything outrageous in Fr. O's writings.

 

Judas was an Antichrist who chose not to be converted. Hitler, Stalin etc. The same. There will always be Antichrist figures but this one now is not the final one. We are entering the minor chastisement not the end of the world.

 

The anti Christ mentioned in Scriptures will not convert. But he is not of this period of history. He comes near the end of the world.

Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. (1 John 2: 18.)

Unfortunately there are many many anti Christs today. Those who butcher children in the womb, corrupt children, promote alphabet lifestyles, pornographers, child trafficking I could go on and on.

And there are anti Christs within the Catholic Church. They serve themselves and their own agendas and not the agenda of Jesus Christ. Watch out for them at the Synod of synods.

I suppose you could call all of this the spirit of the anti Christ in the world.

 

It was definitely the video that left me wondering. I had no issues with Fr. O prior to watching that interview. You are better off not watching it.

 

I have to say that I do not know anything about how hawthorn leaf tea will affect the body. I have read that it affects the heart. But as far as individual use, I do not know. So I am NOT now advocating buying and using it. I hope no one will be hurt by following the directions I posted a few days ago. So sorry.

 

I don't think people should really be over concerned with physical preparation anyways. Spiritual prep is by far most important. God will provide for those that are faithful. In the other hand for people who are only do Ling physical prep and Aren't spiritually prepared, no amount of physical prep will save them. I'm not saying that's anyone here, just a word of caution.

Yes I agree. "The" AC comes at the end but a Hitler like tyrant could emerge in the near term. What do you make of Fr Blount telling us he saw the AC in the spirit? Charlie Johnston claims the same thing. Uneasy about this.
