Each yoga pose is what is referred to as a Kriya in Sanskrit. A Kriya is a prayer to a Hindu deity as far as I am aware. Yoga can get deeper and darker when it goes into what is know as Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini is a very dangerous Indian spirit that has become very prevalent at the moment in time. It has to do with chakras and all that very dangerous New Age stuff.

RUN!!!!!AWAY!!!!! from any and all forms of yoga, chakras, chi, reiki, acupuncture. Just run. Don't try to bend and say the stretches are fine. They are not.
Do calisthenics like in the old days, pushups, situps, etc etc. I can't do any of it any more, LOL, but that is tried and true, not New Age. There is a Catholic document called
"Jesus Christ, the bearer of the water of life" which explains much. It's Roman Catholic from the Vatican.

I was going to research non-yoga stretching. I don't know enough about yoga stretches/poses other than a big red flag but stretching in general is important for muscle healing as is strength training.

Makes me very concerned for relatives who are very much into yoga for relaxation and staying flexible, especially after joint surgeries. I do not know if they are aware at all of more than just stretching or if they'd be open to hearing of why to be wary of it.

A friend gets pretty angry when she thinks I am suggesting the church has other ideas of what we should believe or how we should live our lives. A clear wall she has yet, though has returned to the Church in the last year. She bellows that she doesn't want anyone telling her what to think. Yes, she is fiercely far left. I purposely don't caution her. She is one of those friends strongly in my prayers.

At least she has the grace of the Eucharist and tries to pray a decade every day!

The UN policy is lethal. They wish to reduce global temperatures, thus reducing plant growth; end all non-plant food production, although large areas of the world are only suitable for growing grass; they wish to end intensive-farming, the very reason the world has managed currently to feed far more people than ever before in its history; on top of all this, they propose using land for energy crops, as well!

This is the UN believing it can deliver Our Lord's miracle of the loaves and fishes, repeatedly and on a global basis. They claim to be most concerned for the poor (this is getting monotonous), but their proposal to end 'industrial agriculture' will lead to a world completely unable to support billions of people. Ironically, the most industrialised part of agriculture is in the production of crops, which requires land to be ploughed, harrowed, tilled, sown and harvested, not to mention multiple sprayings of fertilisers and pesticides. After that, there is the processing and distribution. I read some years back that organic farming could at best support 250,000,000. Current world population is 7.7 billion and rising rapidly. What the UN proposes would lead to mass-death on a scale previously unimagined, with the poor hit the hardest, naturally enough. My own suspicion is that this mass-extermination represents the real motive of a certain elitist group, the kind that meet at Bilderberg and Davos.

I recently had a conversion with man who is a dairy farmer. He is of retirement age. His plan is to plant trees as this is an easier way to get an income as the country and organisons want to have plantations to use as carbon sumps.

For thousand of years we have struggled to clear land to till it and plant it.
If vast tracts of land that are currently arable, are planted with trees, it'll take years to get it back to its current producivity.
This is just another way of thing up resources in order to control populations.

Scary. And based on sketchy science maybe. There are a lot of reputable scientists who say carbon is NOT the problem but they are politically incorrect and cant get their research published.
