I always liked Yves Dupont's work - he makes a convincing case that the anti-Christ comes after the period of peace.
I like him also Garabandal. I was making a comment with regard to his study and understanding of prophecy. I look forward to Vatican III to iron out all of the misinterpretations of II - now there's a prophecy!
In trying to understand Chalrie Johnston's 'Resuce' in late 2017, one would have to conclude that there is not time for the anti-Christ in his scenerio prior to the era of peace. If he is right, one could conclude the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is the 'crushing of Satan's head', the completion of the Fatima prophecies, the end of the Marian age where he is cast into hell until the end of the world. Furthermore, if Charlie is correct the Resuce brings forth the era of peace. How long no one knows. 25 years or 1000 years has been revealed by Catholic prophecy. Because so many popes, mystics, locutionists, visionaries and messangers have indicated that the time of the anti-Christ is close, I would think that it will come after the 25 years of peace foretold by our Lady of La Sallette. No one know for sure, but unless new credible prophecy comes out on the timing of AC, this seems to me to be the most probable in what has been thus been revealed.
.....Or, you must consider the possibility that you are mistaken, and the La Sallette period of "relative" peace has come and gone during the twentieth century, and has nothing to do with what is to come. The original La Sallette messages themselves placed a 100 year time frame (1846-1946) on the fulfillment of all that was delivered as prophecy, except one thing: The coming about of the "son of perdition", which was to take place after 1946, but most likely by 2000.
Could be Jon. If so, what is the era of peace that our Lady of Fatima spoke of? Any idea how long that lasts? Thing is Jon, if one was to read the La Sallette messages within your time frame it makes no sense, especially what I have put in bold/red/blue. The following is exaclty what the prophecies of Fatima, Garabandal and Akita foretold that are forthcoming too. Read this carefully from our Lady of La Sallette: "The righteous will suffer greatly. Their prayers, their penances and their tears will rise up to Heaven and all of God's people will beg for forgiveness and mercy and will plead for my help and intercession. And then Jesus Christ, in an act of His justice and His great mercy will command His Angels to have all His enemies put to death (this has not happend yet). Suddenly, the persecutors of the Church of Jesus Christ and all those given over to sin will perish and the earth will become desert-like (this has not happened yet). And then peace will be made, and man will be reconciled with God (this has not happened yet). Jesus Christ will be served, worshipped and glorified. Charity will flourish everywhere (this has not happened yet). The new kings will be the right arm of the holy Church, which will be strong, humble, pious in It's poor but fervent imitation of the virtues of Jesus Christ (this has not happend yet). The Gospel will be preached everywhere and mankind will make great progress in its faith, for there will be unity among the workers of Jesus Christ and man will live in fear of God (this has not happend yet). This peace among men will be short-lived. Twenty-five years (this peace is after the events above that have not taken place yet) of plentiful harvests will make them forget that the sins of men are the cause of all the troubles on this earth. A forerunner of the Antichrist, with his troops gathered from several nations, will fight against the true Christ, the only Saviour of the world. He will shed much blood and will want to annihilate the worship of God to make himself be looked upon as a God (this takes place after everything afroementioned above which have not taken place yet).
I think you may be quoting from a false apocalyptic message from 1879, and that is the root of the misunderstanding. Somebody who is an authority on this please speak up and address this once and for all (because I am certainly not an authority on La Salette). Right. And I think that is the very publication that has been scrutinized by the bishops, because it contains material that came into question in 1879 that was not in the original 1846 messages.
