Do not worry Purple Flower, as you state in your final sentence, we are called to rely upon Him and Him alone! God will provide. I too often wonder about how God will work out my circumstances, as I can not work as a nurse now, because of the covid vax mandates for health care workers in Australia, and additionally my husband is disabled, we live very frugally atm, but I am drawn to Our Lords encouraging words from scripture, that if we put Him first He will look after all our temporal needs. God in His great wisdom lead me to a devotion to Him as an infant; about 18 months ago, mainly the devotion to the infant of Prague. My morning prayers now take about half an hour and at the end of these prayers, I pray set prayers to the holy family and end with a personal prayer to Our Divine Little King, I praise Him and then I remind Him of His promises and in supplication I ask Him to constantly assist me with looking after His interests. I believe the Divine Gracious Infant Jesus looks upon my pleas with a tender compassion, this affords me a great interior Joy in the middle of sorrow and confusion. God Bless you Miraculous Infant, I believe in Your promise of peace, blessings, and freedom from want. I place every need and care in Your hands. Lord Jesus, may I always trust in Your generous mercy and love. I want to honour and praise You, now and forever. Amen
Yes this is true, NSD. I believe the Lord was preparing us (way back then) by leading us to think about a future where working a job could be taken away if we did not comply, with the many draconian measures that would be imposed upon the world including the insane mandate to accept a gene therapy which used abortive foetal tissue for our protection! (where even the Vatican was complicit), and additionally being locked down, small businesses becoming bankrupt, complying to unjust governmental laws of travel, social media expression etc. This produced fear and the fear was real because the threat became a reality! and many lost their jobs and livelihoods due to these mandates (including myself). However in this dark moment I was invited by God to rely on His word and although this has been hard at times it has been a blessing and I praise God for this turn of events. Thank you for the beautiful scripture passage that I was referring to, of Matthew 6. I don't know what is ahead of me nor of Australia nor the world and like Purple flower and the Apostles I too look at the waves and can become afraid but knowing Jesus is in the boat, I believe God will supply the graces necessary in all our circumstances whether that be the graces to sustain us materially or the grace to loose everything and remain faithful. I trust only Him. Divine Mercy of Jesus I trust in Thee.
Beautifully said Mario. As a btw I was saddened and shocked at Cardinal Pell's death. It has evoked many questions inside of me. I believe that Pope Benedict was a type of restrainer as spoken of in Thessalonians and with the death of Cardinal Pell I tend to see his death, as possibly the first of many unrestrained evils that we are about to encounter in our Catholic faith. My questions (regarding the death of Cardinal Pell) may never be answered in my lifetime but God has seen it all, He knows who is responsible for what sin and for what atrocity. God not only sees these sins but has allowed them. Therefore God can and will bring good out of every evil we encounter, if we repent, pray and praise Him for each and every circumstance He allows. My God I love Thee and I praise Thee for all the circumstances we members of the Church go through individually and collectively as your Immaculate bride 'the Church', which we are living at this moment. Lord have mercy on our blindness/ignorance and steel us with your graces to continue on in Joy and simplicity. Amen

We were told by Our Lady that 'Russia would spread her errors throughout the world'. (Putative) Pope Francis is very recently quoted following an interview with 'America', the US Jesuit publication that 'If I see the Gospel in a sociological way only then, yes I am a Communist and so too was Jesus'. So, the Pope says that, from a worldly point of view, he is a Communist! If such a positive attitude to Communism can be admitted to by the man who claims to be the Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church then maybe we can say that Communism has truly spread its tentacles everywhere and that we are now at the point of which Our Lady prophesied. Francis seems to be unaware that millions of good people, both secular and religious despise Communism simply because, from a sociological viewpoint, it does NOT provide what it promises but instead can be totally relied upon to impoverish the vast majority of people under its sway as well as depriving them of basic freedoms. We might also observe that the five pointed red star symbol of Communism still sits on top of the Kremlin and many Russian soldiers carry the red flag of Communism into battle without adverse comment from their commanders. Perhaps, like Nebuchadnezzar, Putin is an evil 'king' used by God to teach his people a terrible lesson.

I believe you are taking my post out of context, FP. PF and her husband have been making plans of relocation and such for the benefit of their family in the midst of worldly apprehension. They are waiting for the deal to close. I am not naive, but simply encouraging them that what God has begun He will bring to completion for them. Geralyn and I have been practical in our own preparations this past year, but when things hit the fan, we are not simply going to hunker down and damned be everyone else. Nor am I claiming you hold such a selfish view. There are two sides to the coin of salvation: 1) speak the truth to feed the soul, and (2) share the cup of water so that the other can hear the truth echoing in their soul. Prepare and share. You still have family nearby and must make preparations for them a priority. My children are far away: Lancaster, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Sealy, Fort Worth, and Laguna Hills. Our way of support is one of loving and constant intercession- the cards we have been dealt. When worst comes to worst we will pour out our lives in the location God has ordained. So be it.
