Ohhh...my sentiments exactly! Not looking forward to the dying process, but I welcome the exit! Praying that Gods mercy will accompany me. Regardless, we’re all going sometime.

I really pity those who are not prepared. Even us who are trying to prepare will tremble before the throne of the Almighty God! My worst fear is to not fear the state of my soul...it’s eternal!

I was thinking of the ironies . . .and talk of a schism. But what if the schism was against me for not having the vax and not being permitted to enter the church. Kind of like the leper of the old days not being allowed in the temple. Could history repeat itself?

 

A couple of weeks ago the gospel spoke about Jesus entering the home of Simon the leper. That really struck me.

The unvaccinated are going to be treated like the lepers of old.

I can see some parishes having vaccinated areas and unvaccinated areas in our churches

 

One of my friends in early 2020 asked the Lord what was behind the virus. An immediate reply, a spirit of fear and a spirit of leprosy.

 

I agree. One of our local parishes has cordoned off an area where those who are vacced can sit without social distancing, and those un vacced must sit on the other side of the church, self distancing from each other. Even though both groups could possibly be infected carriers, they are segregating them. It's kind of like the fear of leprosy. The next step, of course, would be to not let those unvacced into the church. And yet, in scripture Jesus healed the leper and did not deny him access. Just pondering the situation this a.m.

 

Terrible. I pray that this doesn't happen in our parish. If the vaccinated resort to these measures to protect themselves, they must not trust the vaccine.

These things bring to mind the prophecies like LaSallete "Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of anti-Christ", and others that refer to the destruction of Rome . Also, the passion of the Church as described in the catechism might be relevant.

Archbishop Fulton Sheen and Fr. Linus Clovis have said that the anti-Church exists within the Church. The actions of the anti-Church may cause people to despise what they falsely think the Catholic Church represents. Destruction of Rome and persecution of Catholics could result and be the curcifixion of the Church predicted by the catechism.
