One thing that surprised me most was that among Medical Staff in ICU's who have been actively treating Virus victims , there are often a high proportion of staff refusing to take the vaccines.

This is startling.

Agree. Well said, HH! I’ve witnessed these tendencies in her, also, in a video. Kept shaking my head and thinking something wasn’t right.

 

The only thing we see right now is the short term responses and side effects of these difference vaccines. There may be a fairly low incidence of negative effects and deaths but it's so early and those that are reported are very concerning especially if you are otherwise healthy. Healthy immune systems are already going to do safely what the vaccines are attempting to do with unknown risks. What does 6-12 months look like? What does 2-5 years look like? No one knows and that is why I won't touch any vaccine for at least 2 years if ever.
The peer pressure to take the vaccine hyped up by constant media fear is going to place me and my family on the outside of the expected norm. But, we have to remember, forgetting when/if governments and businesses insisting you reveal if you've had it, that your personal medical history is very private. Although saying no comment when asked if had taken it is the same as saying no I haven't it's still where I lean to go. Since the vaccines are not proven to prevent transmission and there is no system yet in Canada to require you prove you've had it I might even consider my strong immune system the same as having taken it.
With this logic I may even answer with yes, I am protected now, which isn't a lie.

 

At work they all assume everyone is desperate to get the vaccine and they are.

Outside of work there are people who want to get vaxed and people who don't.

I'm going to say I don't know if I'll get it. Why? I will tell them, personal reasons. All true. If anyone is rude enough to ask more questions they have gained the right to be told That's my business

 

Part of the reason I mentioned is the Astra Seneca vaccine first limited to 55 years and older due to blood clot risks was just lowered in Ontario to 40 years. Most pharmacies have it now and I suspect the uptake isn't quite as high as they hoped due to media about adverse blood clots. At 53 I can now get it. Most at my work are planning to get it and I will stand my ground mostly because I know many of these people well and we can be open obout it. Many though would likely be offended knowing I wasn't. My neighbour just yesterday asked my wife and I when we are getting ours......ummmm not sure lol. I would never take the AZ due to ethical reason also.

 

I was thinking today after seeing a comment about how I will be shunned from society if I refuse. If I believe that all these people are at serious risk of death or injury, and I do, especially after looking at latest video from Dr. Bhakdi, (German virologist and Immunologist) then in 1 year where will they be? What injuries and auto immune disease will people suffer? I'm prepared to wait it out.

I must be a glutton for punishment as I'm listening to RTE Radio 1 again. A few weeks ago Varadkar floated the idea of an app, a digital green certificate then went quiet about it. Some raised objections. Last weekend it was all restrictions, holiday at home this year, Mass is illegal, hotel quarantine etc. Today the radio is full of the possibility of opening up, Mass, foreign travel and isn't this so exciting etc.

What changed?

They also announced that the digital green certificate is EU mandated. It's a fait accompli and will be implemented within weeks. So they were waving that around saying isn't this a great thing.
